      Details of transaction:1) ************ performed: November 14, 2022 2) Amount charged to consumer: Two separate charges of: $51.96 and $155.88 3) The dispute: I came to this store in the morning with a yellow warning light for TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). The technician told me that I have to replace 3 TPMS units and the yellow warning light will be cleared. After about 15 minutes, the technician informed me that after replacing 3 TMPS units the yellow warning light still is not cleared; he then told me that I have to replace the another TPMS unit and it will clear the yellow warning light; After another 15 minutes, the technician came back and told me that he is sorry that the light STILL STAYS ON AND NOT CLEARED. I told him that it is not acceptable and demanded a refund and he did not do a refund for me.

      I recently went to tire discount to get my tires rotated and balanced and they stated I need a new tires I had just gotten tires from them about a year prior. They were run flats and they did not have a minimum mileage warranty/guarantee. However the clerk and I both stated that seems extremely odd how quickly they ran out. When he looked at the tires he stated that those should not have been put on my car and that they were not meant for the weight of my vehicle. Not only was that a safety issue but at the same time it was a very costly issue. has record shows in the system tires that they put on my vehicle the year prior should not have been put on my vehicle. I have reached out with an email to tire discount with no reply.. Again this is was a huge safety issue and it also cost the tires to wear way faster than they ever should have. As a clerk stated that my best pursuit in getting this issue addressed would be to contact the headquarters. That day I paid for four new tires that I should not have had to pay for. On top of that putting the wrong tires on a vehicle is a safety issue that could be a life and death situation.

      2.. If as stated "Management" please see this is passed on to "corporate."

      3. State next steps with time frame.   

       

      Will you "employee" of "Company" try to wash this under the rug, "highly not recommended" or take responsibility/ action? Simple fix if the "right thing is done." Company made mistake... did not cause what could have been VERY BAD... but still made a mistake. Company ethics ... are?

      Took a truck to get sensors, and ended up with my hole set of rims messed up ******* and ***** dont admit they messed up! They stripped my nuggs on the front passenger they wanted me to drive off with a 20 spare when I have a lift kit on it and 26 wheel with mud tires they told me to get a towing truck to tow it when I had driven my to there place,,,, the sad part is I told them DONT TOUCH IT IF YOU CANT DO IT ! Not once but more that 10 times!! They kept my truck for 4 day because i didnt want to take with the spare I called them right after taking my truck, claims offed 250dls for the inconvenience an employee from there told me they messed up with my rims, but the confronted him and them he got fire because he told them what they done! He said that **** and ******* had one of the newbies work on my tires he said that they dont dont know how to handles rims that big!! ******* is never there I been there a bunch of times but hes always out, morning afternoon any time hes never there!! The sad part is them firing the kid because he told the truth, why did he get fired??? The only thing they proved is there guilty but but tried hiding it by firing him Oh like that set of rims they sold for for half of what they were worth the ordered different ones and he got lucky so when they put them on he didnt pay and drove off with a pair of **** dollar rims and tires and paid less than half! The sad part is that they make jokes and say well Ill still be here regardless what ppl say I hope yall make sure they dont fire others like the first guy that worked on my truck hes told me he didnt remember if my rims were like that the first time but I asked him again and he admitted that they are not like that the first time **** was there and the second time he wasnt there!!!This happened in the store in ***********************! Police was called they didnt do anything but I needed for the record! I have witness and proof of everything ** saying!

      I bought and had tires installed by America's tire. The tires have been on the car a little over a year and the tires are wearing extremely quick as well as vibranting, this was confirmed when I came in to get a nail in one tire repaired. After doing some research on my own I learned that America's tire installed the incorrect tires in my car. Tires are not properly rated for my vehicle. This placed; me, my family, and other motorist on the road at risk. Extremely unsafe and not something I would expect from someone like America's tire.

      Discount Tire damaged my vehicle and their third-party insurance is not responding to my claim after providing a claim number and asking me to get an estimate for the repairs. This has been going on for nearly 2 months with no response. Clam #*******.

      From America's Tire Company business located in *******, **, I bought four new tires and got installed at this same business on 1/19/2019. All tires were warrantied for ****** miles. *** this warranty this business charged me extra $72.00 and for Life of Tire maintenance they charged me extra $80.00. Tires ran only less than ****** miles so far. Front Tires shows 2/32 threads and rear show 6/32 threads left on it. Approximately 5% life left on the front tires and 15% left on rear tires. I requested refund or replacement of all tires as per warranty. But it was denied by the business. I feel like a victim of Warranty fraud. America's tire made a false and misleading statement for sale of a product with false warranty. It is against the California business and professional code.

      I had recently bought 4 new tires from Discount tires on Avenues of autos in *************** on October 10th 2022. The technician **** came to give me the keys after the job was done. I did a walk around before driving home, that is when I found that the hubcaps on one of the wheels was broken but the technician never acknowledge that he had broken it mistakenly while fixing it back onto the wheel. Before I left, I had to call him to verify about it and later he did acknowledge it got broke. He also said that he will order a replacement for it and would let me know. I was one of the last but 2nd customer for the day. Since they were closing shop for the evening I could not immediately get in touch with the manager of the day of the day. So I did go back in person the next morning to show ***** another team member at the desk who was present the evening when I had my tires replaced . He assured me that he would order another hub cap and would call and let me know when it arrived. There was no apology for the inconvenience or incident from both **** or *****. A week or so passed with no follow-up from the store, so I called again on 10/21/22 and spoke to ***** who said that he had not called because he was going to surprise me when he got the hub he ordered and that was reason for not following up. Today is 11/6/22. There has been no follow up calls on this issue.I know mistakes happen but it's poor practice, poor customer service on the whole. First the technician was not truthful about the accidental break of the hubcaps. Secondly, neither did **** or ***** acknowledge or apologize for the issue. Third, it's almost a month and there are no follow up calls and I still have a broken hubcap. In short this is very poor customer service. I'm a disappointed customer after being with them for at least 10 yrs

      I purchased new tires for my AWD vehicle in December 2019. Discount tire installed the wrong tires in the back of my vehicle. I havent driven much since them because I was out of the country and have been working from home. My car started having issues. I took it to the dealership and was told my Transfer case is bad and needs to be replaced. The first thing they asked me was why I have the wrong tire size in both my rear tires and that is what caused the transfer case to fail. I checked the receipts from my discount tire and the right size are on the receipt but the wrong tires were installed. I would like discount tire to resolve the issues caused by installing the wrong size on my AWD vehicle.

      Bought, paid and waited for new tires yesterday at a cost of $1900. They are not balanced properly. Today came back to get fixed and Im at the end of the line. They say other were here before me. I was here yesterday and Im paid and am driving a car that has a wobble. Failed service should be top priority not last.

      I have purchased several sets of tires from discount tire. A couple nights ago while driving on the free way i got a warning light that my pressure was going down and then it got very wobbly and felt like something was wrong so i pulled off the freeway and got to a gas station to try and check out the tire and saw that it had blown out or something from the inside. All of my other tires are fine and these tires have approx *****k miles bought brand new from discount tire. I went in and the sales person a shorter, red head maybe 135lbs 5 foot 5 or so looked at it and said it was tread damage from misalignment and that they wont cover it. He didn't look up my account, and he didn't seem to understand that all of my other tires are fine and no one has noticed any weird wear or tear when rotating my tires to get snow tires on etc...... This lazy scam artist sales person gave me a BS line to avoid being responsible for the warranty of the tire and tried to sell me new tires when they should have honored the warranty on the tire they sold me.
