I took my **** Chrysler Crossfire into Discount Tire in Maricopa on 5/31/22 and had my tires rebalanced due a slight shimmy in one tire. It was recommended to rebalance all wheels. When I received the car back I drove it 30 miles and it had a full out shake in the front end that you could feel in the steering wheel. I called immediately and spoke to the manager and he advised to bring it back and they would rebalance them. I had been out of town and very busy and was not able to get back to have them redone until 8/18/22. The manager was very nice and remembered the situation and got my car back in right away. Took about 30 min and I drove .7 miles home and parked my car. When I came out the next morning I noticed all kinds of curb rash on the wheels of my car and these wheels were nearly flawless before I took it there! This car is a movie car used in "Condition of Return" film and was in great shape. I came back the next day and pointed out the damage and the manager stated it looks like the damage was there before. I was very clear with him that this was not there and that I wanted this matter handled. He showed me how the machine in their shop could not do that damage. I advised yes but someone test drove my car obviously and damaged my wheels by curbshot! Ever since I have got the run around to get an estimate which I did and submitted to ****************************************************** ************************************* The estimate for repair was $539.00 I have submitted the repair estimate as requested on 9/6/22 and asked for approval twice with zero responses. This is the 2nd set of Michelin Defender tires that I have had on my 2020 F-350 Super duty truck. The first set was bought at ****** miles and the second set replaced at ****** at an additional cost of $711.67. After having my truck serviced and tires rotated at ****** miles, the **** dealer service tech said tires were about shot. I went back to Discount Tire on ************ in ***** ** and was told only 2 of the tires were worn enough to be under warranty. So, after 27 minutes waiting on the phone for their customer care rep I was told that I would be called by the store manager, **** within 24 hours to resolve. Didn't happen and I have had 2 complete sets of ******-mile tires with 1 set getting ****** miles and the last set getting ******. I paid on both occasions $42.00 for each tire to have a complete replacement warranty. I have enclosed both receipts.Business Response

Recently purchased 4 brand new tires. Never put caps on brand new tires. Manager (*****) stated he didnt know why the employees never put caps on tires. Company put wrong stem on brand new tire. As a result air leaked down until tire was totally flat causing outside rim and tire plate (not sure what it is) to be scratched. If rim is bent, Im seeking entire rim to be replace and new face plate. Missed employer meeting and lunch to resolve company issue. All around very poor job. Ive replaced my tires at Discount Tire for years and never had problem. Other manager (*****) said hed take care of install but thats just not enough. *** missed meeting and lunch and could have really damaged vehicle because of this issue.Business Response

We have been using Discount Tires exclusively for 20 years and have never had an issue until recently. We have always purchased the warranties on the tires and they have always honored them. Recently, we have had 2 flat tires. They are claiming that neither of them are honored by the warranty. With the first one, we were in a rush and let it go. We paid for a brand new tire. Now that this is happening again, it is unacceptable. Why pay for a warranty that isn't valid?Discount is claiming that the tire is beyond repair and must be replaced for $210. They are claiming the warranty is void due to the condition of the tread on the tire. They said had we rotated the tires, they would honor the warranty. They also explained that they do free tire rotation.Here are the issues with this:#1. We have our tires rotated with oil changes.#2. They said they were out of our brand tire the last time we had to replace 2 of them. So there are now 2 different brands of tires on the vehicle. They started off 2 matching in the back and 2 matching in the front. Currently the tires are mix matched, showing that they have been rotated.#3. We have been to discount on multiple occasions for nails in our tires. They have done the patch repairs and never offered to rotate the tires. If this is so critical to the warranty process, why are they not offering the free service that they are promoting? This is very frustrating. It's already a stressful situation to have a flat tire and then to have to deal with a company you trust, now scamming on their own warranty. On Friday, September 9, 2022 at approximately 1:30pm I brought my 2019 ******** **** GLC 300 to the Discount Tire location ********************************************************************************** to have my two front tires replaced. I was informed by **** that my tires would need to be ordered but they would be in the same day and I my car done by the evening. I paid ahead of time for the entire job which totaled $654.26. I was given a call later that evening at approximately 5:27pm to inform me that the tires had been placed on the truck for delivery but the truck couldnt be found. Since it was getting late we agreed that he would lock up my car in the garage overnight and look into it first thing in the AM. He added that if the tires in fact were not found on the truck, he would put the order in again and have another set sent out on the same day to ensure the job would be done. On Saturday, September 10, 2022 at approximately 10:41am I missed a call from Discount Tire but returned it at approximately 11:28am. The attendant stated that the tires arrived about 30 minutes ago and they could get my car in the bay to have the job finished now. I received a text message at approximately 11:58am stating my car was ready for pickup. When I arrived at approximately 12:30pm I entered Discount Tire and the attendant I spoke to stated to me that my car was finished. He handed me my keys and a receipt for the job done. I went out to my car and inspected it myself. From my initial exterior survey I didnt notice anything wrong. I started my car and drove off. I had not made it to the gas station just a few hundred feet away before my tire light came on. My tire pressure in my back tire was below 20psi. I filled it and paid no mind. About half a mile up the road my tire light comes on again. It is the front passenger tire just replaced at 2psi. I began to hear my rims against the asphalt. On 9 June 2022 I bought four **** DR-70 rims from the *********** Discount Tire store for $640.32 (with tax). Since then, three center caps have fallen off (see included pictures). I've replaced three of them for $15.00 each, but they keep coming off. When I noticed the first cap was gone we let the store know. Even though we just bought them, the ******* store employee told us we could order one from **** for $75.00. This was ridiculous and I was surprised this was Discount's only solution at that price. Since losing two more due to average driving, it's apparent this is a **** design flaw for this model.I called the *********** store again on 9/6/2022 and was told the price is now $20.00 to order new ones and the previous comments I received were not correct. However, it's clear these rims will continue losing the caps and I want a different model. After paying $640+ for the rims, is it right for me to keep buying tops due to an issue with these rims? Discount Tire should stand behind they're products and we shouldn't have received a "just deal with it" type answer after spending that much money. The original invoice and pictures are attached. I had 2 tires put on my car and they tore up my tire screws when putting the tires back on. I had to get my car towed to a repair shop to get it fixed. I want a full refund of my money. A simple trip to get tires should not result in me having to pay for a tow and paying to get something repaired that they messed up. This is very unprofessional and causing me stress. I visited a Discount Tire located at ******************************************************** ************ near my home today August 24, 2022 at 8:17am to inspect a tire low on air. The technician who inspected my tire (*****) informed me I had a nail in it but could be easily repaired. I agreed and proceeded with the repair. Upon completion of repair I was given a bill for around $115.00 and change or so dollars. I asked why so much for a nail repair and person at service desk did not know so went to get his manager. The manager then came and informed me that there was no charge for the nail hole repair I had been placed on some program where if they couldn't repair my tire in the future they would replace it. I told him I wasn't interested and his response was "Then I won't be seeing this car here ever again" to which I responded: Apparently not.I was never informed of this prior to the repair and would have gladly paid for any repair, but felt forced to purchase something I had not asked for, plus the manager's attitude encouraged me to file a complaint. Extremely poor customer service from this establishment. Once I hot home and did the research, I found out they are not BBB accredited which is never a good sign.Business Response
