      Went to get my tires rotated as per agreement. Representative walked me inside and then indicated that it would be a waste to rotate my tires and they would all need to be replaced. It seems Ive seen the same thing playing out on other complaints here and it looks like the employees are trained to say the same thing. The other lie they tell is its against the law to rotate tires under certain tread but the only states tires cant be sold. It seems they are trying to scam customers to keep buying tires when they are not ready for them to make money. This was last straw. Going to ****** from now on.

      I went to Discount Tire in ******* at ********************************************************* due to a rear passenger side flat tire. The advisor recommended replacement of the tires as it is irreparable, which I agreed to and work was completed. Later on after a month or two There was a humming noise coming from the rear axle and I took the car to 3 or 4 different shops to diagnose the problem and paid their diagnostic fee and was unable to figure the problem out till the vehicle was dropped of at caliber auto care in ****** after the noise was becoming louder by the minute. After diagnostics were completed it turns out that the Discount tire store in ******* replaced the tire with the wrong size with a 245/40/19 instead of it being 245/45/19 which damaged the transfer case as it was compromising from the bad tire size. Total repair costs now after these damages is coming to almost $8,000.00. I've tried reaching out to the ** at that store trying to talk to them about these issues and being unable to get a hold of them.

      I bought 4 tires & had them put on today. The guy checks my tires with his phone app & tells me I need an alignment. I said I had an alignment done last Thursday. He said tires should be done before an alignment and I need to pay for another alignment now that new tires will be on. Another guy behind the counter agrees with him. I said I'm not getting another alignment done- l've driven the car twice since the alignment. It drives perfectly straight. It didn't matter what I said. Then the other guy goes my new alignment that I just paid for won't work because I didn't buy the *********** and give the alignment place h*** if they don't redo it for free. While my car was getting the tires put on I went to the alignment place and told them like I was treated like an idiot female, and that the car drives perfectly straight. He said they should not have come at me like that because it doesn't matter which gets done first-but he would look at it for free if I wanted him to -but it does ******** way or the other at all - it's great. When my husband brought me back to pick up my car, he was going to walk in with me this time, but a different employee saw us pull in and walked out to the parking lot to give me my key and receipt. There's no way the guy who sticks his phone over the tires to measure tread knew if I needed an alignment-obviously. If it was my husband they probably would've recommended an alignment-he would have said I had one done 6 days ago-and they probably would've said ok.Had this been my 85-year-old mother-in-law - she would've just took them at their word - because she would e been too scared to drive her car with the way they ******* you with lies.I dont not know how to rip a motor apart-but I know when my car pulls to the left-AND WHEN IT DOESN'T. Also whats with the Do you want the $79 extra coverage? No means no. "Not even if I give it to you for half price?" Pretty sure that question was asked and answered. **********, **

      So I went to Discount Tire to get four tires installed to find out that they damaged my wheels and TMPS sensors. They also left dirt and grime inside my vehicle. What a CARELESS ACT.

However, my recent encounter has left me feeling let down.I recently visited one of your locations with the expectation of utilizing your price match guarantee, as I found a lower price for the same product at a different store.       Went to get my tires rotated as per agreement. Representative walked me inside and then indicated that it would be a waste to rotate my tires and they would all need to be replaced. I had just had (less than 30 days ago) my entire car inspected at the dealership including tires and had accurate acceptable numbers on all tires! I was so offended I just walked out. I have bought thousands of dollar's worth of tires at this store. Now I wonder where to go to get my tires rotated?

      I purchased 6 new tires for my dually last March. The pressure on the tires has never been right and I have had the people at the Smyrna Discount Tire work on it at least 3-4 times. Today going home I had the inner tire on the dually on the drivers side go flat. I stopped at discount tire and showed the technician that the tire was flat and he agreed and made note of it. I left it at there location because I was number 14 to have the flat addressed. I received a text saying that it was fixed. When I picked up the truck, a person in the office said it was a value stem leaking, but was fixed. I might note that when I spent over $2,144 for tires, they never replaced "any" of the tire stems. On the way home I was waiting for the tire monitor to show pressure on the inner tire but never rose over 1 pound, however the outer tire had an increase pressure to 89 pounds. When I got home, the inner tire was still flat. Stay away from Discount Tire. I have used them for the past 30 years, but this is the worst.

      I went to discount tire at around 5:30pm on 12/16/23 as cars rear right tire was losing air, I drove to the Discount tire and requested they fill up tire up with some air. The technician informed me that he had discovered a s**** in the tire and that was the reason i was losing air, he told me he would take the car in, pull the s**** out and fix the puncture and i should be on my way. After waiting nearly half an hour the store manager comes and tells me that his technician had damaged my tire and had in fact ripped the entire wall of the tire when trying to remove the tire from the rim. Here is how the conned me, He told me that my tires needed to be replaced anyway as the Tred on the tire were below the "green" which is rubbish as the car was serviced by the dealership just a few weeks ago and they didn't have any concerns with the tires Tred. He then tells me that he didn't have another tire of the same kind and we recommended that I put a whole new set of tires, but because Discount tire damaged my one tire, they would pay for 2 tires and I was to pay for the other 2, I had no choice but to agree to this as it was getting late and my car was the only one in their bay.I ended up paying $600 for 2 new tires, they charged me a full rate on the tires and also charged me to dispose the old tires.I reached out to their corporate headquarters and was told I would get a response within 2 business days which they didn't response to me, i reached out again and received an apology and a promise to be contacted again by the regional team and have been awaiting a response to date. Discount tire has basically conned me and forced me to buy tires from them after them most likely purposely damaged my tire leaving me stranded if I didn't buy new tires for my car. this is their way of conning people into buying new tires. What should have cost me nothing for air that day ended up costing me $600.I have documentation to prove my tires were fine from the last service.

      I usually go to this place for ********** need for the last 5yrs . But they messed up my car and won't make good on it.i bought tires in 2023 and went in for tire rotation and one lug nut was stripped on and they had to break off the stud. I asked the guy what now he said "sorry.they do sell the studs at auto zone . But you'll have to take it to a mechanic to fix it." The last time my tires came off the car was when I bought new tires from Discount Tire. Going elsewhere now, SUGGEST YOU DO TO !!!!!!!
