I had an appt at 9:15 am for a tire rotation, I arrived at 9:00. By 9:20 the Mgr got tired of me standing, waiting for service. Mgr acknowledged the appt, abot 9:30 staff said I had no appt and that they will try to work me in, in an hour or so. Mgr explained that an appt doesn't matter because walkins and appts both have the same wait. I am sorry, but Drs Keep appts, restuarants keep reservations, but there is no such thing as an appointment at this Discount Tire. I had purchased tires from other Discount Tires for decades and have not been treated thusly before.Discount Tire

Very disappointed, I've bought my tire for over 20 years from Discount Tire then America's Tire. They closed my Victorville branch on *** ******, the other one in *********** is horrible so been trying the Apple Valley one for the last few years.Had my daughter take my car in for flat repair and to get tires balanced and rotated since was leaving for vacation the next day driving 300 miles. Got my car back and headed for trip and noticed serious vibration which only got worse at any speed over 30mph. I made it to my destination but not without stressing the whole way Took it to America's tire in ******* and explained that I thought they weren't balanced. The guy looked doubtful but still took the tires off and 2 of them were completely out of balance and the tire pressure was different in all the tires. After that was done my car drove smoothly again. Guess you have to pick and choose what shop you go to I complained to corporate and they responded someone would reach out in 2-3 days, it's been a month and I never heard from them.Discount Tire

NOT THE SAME COMPANY FOUNDED ON CUSTOMER SERVICE.Been going to ********************** for years with several vehicles as many friends work for the company.Bought a set of 4 new tires for an older part time driven SUV.I declined the additional warranty because the tire was rated for 80k miles and the suv is rarely driven.Didn't notice on my receipt that I was charged for the Discount additional tire warranty.Called the store months later when I was reviewing my credit card statements for my taxes.Called and spoke to CHIP and he said he would call me back. It didn't happen. I had to call back several times. I was later told that **** the manager of the corporate north Scottsdale store said and they could not do anything about it.***** ***** the deceased founder, built his company on service and that the customer is always right.I'm shocked and disappointed how my concerns were not addressed and the poor communication and follow through.DISAPPOINTED LIFE LONG CUSTOMERDiscount Tire

Beware of Discount Tire at 1817 SPID. I bought 4 new tires ,when I got home the low tire pressure light was on . I went back talked to employee about light. He checked tire sensors and said I needed to change all 4 sensors. ****** cost . later on I removed bad sensor and turns out the sensor was not the original sensor. I went back and talked to manager he claims the employee damaged my sensor. I understand accidents happen, but I was upset that no one told me anything about the damaged sensor. And then they replaced my sensor with one of their old non working sensor just to air up tire. And they did not fix my problem. I have been a customer for Many many years. But now I will never go back to that location.Discount Tire

Horrible scheduling service, don't trust their date if you are really on a tight timeframe and need your car ready for a trip or move. When I came to the shop and asked for specific tires to replace my current ones, they mentioned they did not have in the store but they could deliver them to the store and then replace my tires. They asked me to wait for one week until the tires arrive and everything is set for my service (I had one week to wait and it would fit my schedule). I accepted, paid the deposit and waited one week. The day of my appointment came, no calls or any information about any issues, so I went to the store to do my service. Arriving at the store, I'm informed that only 3 tires are in the store and they are missing one. They said it was a carrier issue ******** no information shown to me only they saying they still did not deliver one and "maybe" they will deliver still today and NOW they say they will call me if it arrives (I doubt, never got a call before even they having all my contact information there). Most probably my tire was used in another car and there is no accountability for it. Just that now I have a car that I cannot travel/move out of state and a company that does not fulfill their schedule/agreements. I totally do not recommend this company if you need really the service done in a agreed date manner, try finding something else, like I'm trying now.Discount Tire

I have been a loyal Discount Tire customer for over two decades, consistently relying on their expertise for all my tire needs and recommending their services to others, particularly women in my network. As a woman, I have encountered instances in the automotive industry where individuals have assumed a lack of knowledge and attempted to capitalize on it. However, my experience at Discount Tire has always been different. I have consistently felt respected and valued, and have maintained trust in their services until my recent visit in August.I recently had my vehicle serviced at ****** following up with a tire rotation and balance at Discount Tire. During the ************** a full inspection revealed the tires were in excellent condition each with a tread depth of 4-6mm. To my surprise, Discount Tire informed me that all four tires needed immediate replacement, claiming a tread depth of 3mm and stating they were 'dangerous' and at risk of 'popping.' This was concerning, as my Michelin Pilot tires, purchased approximately two years ago, have only accumulated ****** miles and have been rotated and balanced regularly.When I expressed my surprise and mentioned the ***** inspection, Discount Tire suggested that ***** had 'lied.' I responded by questioning the incentive for ***** to provide false information, as they would presumably also benefit from selling tires.I was further astonished when I witnessed another woman enter the store and encounter the exact same scenario. The representative used the same alarming language, 'dangerous,' and offered the same 'credit' for underperforming tires. Seeking clarification regarding the discrepancy in tire condition assessments between the two service providers, I purchased a tire tread depth gauge and checked the tires myself. All registered between 4 and 6mm as ***** indicated. I will not be returning to Discount Tire and will be sharing my experience with others to raise awareness about this potential scam.Discount Tire

I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with the service I received at your location. I will not be returning and would advise others to avoid this establishment. The level of unprofessionalism and lack customer care was unacceptable. I am now out $1,175, and my tire remains ********* is a summary of the issues:1. Service and Charges: I initially paid $900 for two tires and three wiper blades. However, only one tire was replaced, and the wiper blades were never installed. 2. Property Damage: During the tire replacement process, the staff caused $275 worth of damage to my property, including the stripping of my lug nut lock.3. Unresolved Issues: Despite coming in for one flat tire, I was advised to replace both back tires and all wiper blades, the work was not completed as promised. The tire that was supposed to be replaced remains flat, and none of the wiper blades were installed.4. Aggressive Handling: The mechanics handled my tires aggressively, deflated before getting the lug nut locks off, and threw the valve stem caps into the road. 5. Poor Communication: After the staff damaged my lug nut lock, the staff told me to get it repaired elsewhere at my own expense, which cost an additional $100. After unsuccessfully removing the lug nut, the manager requested me to go to a 3rd party mechanic to get it removed and stated this would be covered by Discount Tire, but it was not. This costed me another $175 6. Store Hours and Accessibility: I returned the next day to have the work completed, only to find the store closed 4 hours before the stated closing time. There has been no communication from the management regarding this.I am seeking immediate reimbursement for:- The unfinished work (including the tire ******************* blades)- The property damage or replacement - The additional cost of repairs - Transportation expenses incurred due to the incomplete service.This experience has been extremely frustrating & I expect a prompt resolution.Discount Tire

Called this location around 8:25 - 8:30am to set an appointment. **** a tire care specialist said to come in even though I'm trying to set an appointment for replacement of all 4 tires... he mentioned quick service because lot was empty.... Two and a half hours later my car was serviced eventhough I arrived at 9:00am. Not to happy with this kind of deception by **** and the Company he represents.
