  I made an appointment to get a leaking tire fixed, when I got there the employee told me they were very busy, but he went and looked at the tire and told me I needed a new tire because the leak was caused by a small s**** too close to the edge. I went home and measured, it was an inch and seven eights from the edge of the tread, we'll within the safety standards to fix. So I took it to the dealership down the street and got fixed in ten minutes.....these guys are very dishonest...

  I was in-line behind an elderly woman. The employee, *********, told her that her windshield wiper needed replacing, "since winter is on the way, it is a good idea." "Should we do it, while we fix your tire?"She says, "The windshield wipers were replaced last week." As a woman, I take HUGE OFFENCE to this practice.

  I am at Discount Tire in ****** on *********** for a tire with low tire pressure. I arrived about 4:45 pm and its now 6:30. They have not even looked at my car and the service representative says that my car wont be ready to be looked at until around 8:30 pm. They close at 6:00 pm. These guys are very slow. For all we know I may just need air, but I wont find that out for almost four hours, Dont come here if you can help it because they will never get your car done. They almost force you into the tire insurance when you buy tires from them, but its a waste of time because you come here for a repair and you spend all your time waiting on them to find out why you have a leak. ill be looking for a new Discount Tire in the future, at least until my warranty expires.

  I bought a set of rims and tires from Discount Tire in ****** and they will not balance. I had the tires checked out at another shop and they said the rims were bad. Discount tire, replaced the tires which did not help.They refuse to do anything to resolve the problem and blamed my vehicle, even though I had no problems with my old tires and rims before.

  Discount tire services trick customers into buying new tires through fear of tire failure, and by luring them in with free flat repairs. on 2 separate occasions I had a flat tire I brought to them to repair. On each occasion, they told me the tire was unrepairable even though the tire was almost new. I went to another tire shop and they plugged the tire that was 1.5 years ago. Last week during the storm I ran over something in the road it was still lodged in the tire. They said they would fix the tire for free. I agreed to the repair. After they removed the tire they told me they couldn't repair it. Then they tried to sell me a new tire I told the salesman the tires only had 9000 miles on it since purchased. I then told him to forget it he then put my spare on and placed the flat tire in the rear of my suv. I had an emergency repair kit at home I plugged the tire and let it sit a day before driving it. it didn't lose any air. the following Thursday I drove to ******* 631 miles away from home without losing air. Returned home another 631 miles still no problem. I have purchased 4 sets of tires from *** and have had problems with each set. in all cases the tires lose air they will tell you it's the weather but I don't have that problem on the other car and truck that I didn't purchase the tire from them. I complained to DTS and on one set the valve stem wasn't seated all the way this fixed that problem. On another car they said it was the rim, I purchased a new rim through *** and still have the same problem. By the way, I had a tire put on the rim at another tire station and it is being used as a spare. been in the trunk for 2 years now and still not losing any pressure. It just seem like they just want to sell a tire at all costs. without regards to the customer.

  Awful experience. I took the car to get new tires and they broke 2 studs. The manager was so unprofessional blaming others because he was taking his lunch when that happened plus we werent informed about it until 45 mins after. They also wouldnt give us the keys due to safety concerns which is fine but they wanted us to pay for the tow truck to take it to the place they recommended to get the repairs done. Affortunately, I have AAA and were able to take it of it. Unfortunately Americas tires did not get responsively for the damages and I had to pay out of pocket for the repairs, also had to pay an **** to pick up the kids from school and I also lost a day at work due to having no transportation.

  First of all I have been going to America's Tire ************* CA since open opening its doors several years ago. I bought tires for both my car and truck. The people have been very kind. Not today. At 1:09pm I decided to take advantage of courtesy filling of air station. The young man who fill air in the tires Had 5 cars back waiting for your employee to fill tire. This employee received money started to talk to individual for 25min. People were very angry. I told employee there's cars waiting to be serviced he looked at me and said "I don't care". I backed my car and left. I am willing to confront that individual with a responsible AM tire rep to find why he was rude and delayed a total 6 cars. This employee has done this several times before.Angry customer

  Horrible customer service and they sold me tires that were expired by 5 years then had to fight with them to replace and within 6 months have had to replace valve stem 3 times in the same tire and it already had cracking and dry rot starting and I'm back up here after being stranded multiple times from tire going flat and they're giving me an attitude about replacing it just give me my money back and I'll take my business elsewhere!

  I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service I received at Discount Tire, located at *********************************************************************************, on August 5, 2024.My ******* Kona had been in a very small crash and required an alignment. The team at Discount Tire initially informed me that due to the forward-facing cameras, they couldn't perform the alignment and advised me to take the car to the dealership. I was understandably frustrated, given the ongoing issues I've faced with this vehicle, including long waits for backordered parts. Almost every warning light on the dashboard was illuminated, and many features of the car were not functioning properly.Upon contacting the dealership, a service adviser assured me that a standard alignment would not require camera recalibration or affect their operation. Despite the initial reluctance of the alignment technician at Discount Tire, I persuaded him to proceed with the alignment. To my relief, the car drove perfectly straight afterward, and the lane assist camera system remained operational.Remarkably, the technician managed to resolve all the warning lights on the dashboard, saving me nearly $900 just in parts that the dealership estimated for replacing all the crash sensors in the front of the car. Thanks to his expertise, my car is now driving straight, and all systems are functional. It was an extremely small crash and I couldn't believe it even triggered the crash sensors but non the less the dealer said to get the warning lights off it would be $900 in new ones. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding service and professionalism exhibited by the team at Discount Tire. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the technician and the entire staff for their dedication and skill. If it were possible, I would rate their service beyond the typical five stars they truly deserve a sixth star for their exceptional work.

  I came in here Wednesday 7/31/24 knowing I had 2 lug nuts seized up, but needed my tires replaced because there was a blade in one of my rear tires. To take off the tires, they had to brake off my lug nuts but recommended Brakes Plus across the street to fix. 3 days later here I am across the street from Discount Tire and the service advisor asked me who put on my new tires..I pointed across the street to your store, a face of disbelief as he tells me "they over torqued the s*** out of my tires" YOU ARE TIRE SPECIFIC.....is that too hard for you to do your only job correctly!? Disgusting NOW, today 8/3/24 they had to replace 5 not 2 because you messed up by over torquing. What moron at a tire specific location doesn't know how to properly secure a tire???
