      Getting ready for a ***** mile drive. Took my truck to discount tire for rotate/balance and air check. Had to pull into a ******** tire in ****, about 200 miles from ***********. All 4 tires were out of balance and the spare tire had 5.5 psi. I had bought the tires from them last year and they were under warranty and there wasn't a charge for their crappy work. It did cost me less than the $60.00 charge at ******** because I loaded their fridge with water bottles while we were waiting. I wasn't expecting that but they were nice enough to appreciate it.

      We had an appointment to put new tires on our vehicle. I've been using Discount for over 20 years and have always taken advantage of their credit program. This time when we arrived sales person "24" said that he wasn't able to pull up my account in order to use the credit program. (my credit card expired years ago and I've never received a new one from Synchrony, nor have I ever HAD to have the card on me to utilize this program) He told me it probably expired and I could apply again. I applied, got a ding on my credit and got denied. I was shocked since my credit score is considered excellent. So, $900 came out of our household emergency fund to cover this purchase and I was told that I'd have to wait for a letter to find out why Synchrony denied me... 2 weeks later the letter arrived and said I was denied because of an "Existing account with our credit program". I'm disgusted with the **** attitude and poor customer service that we received from A R ******* . The store was not busy and there is no reason why he couldn't apply himself with slightly more effort to find the account. I've had an unnecessary ding on my credit AND the burden of withdrawing this purchase to our family emergency fund.

      This store started out as a 1 star review. their excellent communication and desire to please helped greatly. UPDATE: The staff at discount went above and beyond. Great communication! they even purchased a new set of valve stems for me. they worked their way up from a 1Star to a 5 Star review. Thanks Discount tire!

      I recently visited Discount Tire to apply for a job shortly after inquiring about open positions there.****** had the kindness in his heart to inform me that We keep it professional around here. No offense, but you might want to keep your hair more well-kept. ******, if you have to begin a sentence with no offense maybe, just maybe, it might be offensive.I have naturally curly hair that had been trimmed only a couple weeks prior, so please ******, what is inappropriate and unprofessional about my natural hairs appearance? This is ironic when the Crown Act, preventing discrimination based on hair style and texture exists. Turns out you have to go through ****** first I guess. And it is especially hilarious coming from a pube-faced white man with an unkept and excessively long *****. ******, thank you so much for keeping me from wasting my time and yours with your god awful service and attitude toward potential customers and potential employees.

      I received my new car Ive barely had for 2 months back with a completely damaged rim!!!! My first picture was taken at 2:08 before I checked my car in at 2:30. I was notified around 5:40 my vehicle was ready for pickup. After picking my car up around 6:20 on my way to work I received an alert from my car at 6:31 that the tire pressure was low which was unusual due to them just replacing it. When I arrived at work I examined the tire & saw my rim was COMPLETELY DAMAGED!!! The picture was taken at 7:09. Im completely unsatisfied after paying over $400 that my car was mistreated, damaged, and returned to me without saying anything about it. I thought I was going to a trusted and reliable company but Im not so sure of that after my experience with their lack of care today.

      Discount tire told me that I needed to have my lug nuts replaced on all 4 tires. They said that a law suit had been filed and a family of 4 were killed. In 2017, a law firm filed a complaint against **** alleging that millions of **** vehicles from the early to mid-2010s had defective two-piece lug nuts that could swell and become difficult to remove. The complaint named the following **** vehicles:Fusion, Escape, Flex, Focus, F-150, F-350 but the law suit was dismissed!! (I have a Transit Connect.)I was show tow lug nuts, which were not from my car. They said they had to replace them!!! I asked how much and the said $50 to $150. This is not the first time they have played games with lug nuts. A few years ago, I had 4 tires replaced at Discount tires on another car. A few months later, I took it to have the brakes worked on and the mechanic could not unlock the tires? I did not have lock nuts on the car prior to my visit to Discount Tire. I took the car back to Discount Tire and they removed their lock lug nuts!!!

      This store is poorly managed,Came in to get a tire checked, the guy that was helping me, went to check my tire came back in and said you need all new tires, I told him I just need the one, because it was flat two days ago, then hes trying to get me to spend more money, I waited an hour or longer waiting for them to change the one tire, so Im sitting in the lobby, they get done with my car and the guy tells me they had trouble getting one of the bults off so they replaced them all with temporary ones and that I would have to have them tighten down or replaced with new ones, yeah right we all know I just got Hustled out of money, So Now I have a 180 dollar tire with temporary bolts on, Why would you take all of them instead of telling me in the process of you changing the tire and why would you talke all the bolts if you just had problems with the one, doesnt make since to me, you wont be getting my service again, these guys are ripping people off every day.

      Poorly managed store. Waited 2 hours plus for a 5 minute installation and was noted by the supervisor at the store my wait time would not be any longer then 1 hour for installation/wait time period. Then installs the wrong cap on my tire valve and has rude employees (****) and supervisor (*****) does not honor up to customer service duties making me leave the store feeling disappointed. Will note to social media in ************ area how Poot store is managed and employees are.

      Terrible technicians with no training from their management and corporation. Will break wheel studs due to incompetence and poor education. Dont let them use torque guns to torque to specs. Make them show you they used a calibrated torque wrench to ensure they dont damage. Unacceptable and very dangerous practices.

      Took my car to get a hole repaired. When I got there I was checked in and asked to move my car into a parking spot in the lot. I did so, walked in and gave them my keys. When I got back I was told my tire couldn't be repaired because the rim was bent, we looked at prices of new rims, cost for installation and then they gave me my keys and I got in my car.As I'm about to start the car a woman comes and knocks on my window and accuses me of hitting her car, honestly I told her to **** off and she said "look at your bumper you have a scratch too" I got out and looked and low and behold, there's a big scratch on the front of my car. I went back in and apologized to the woman and then told the front desk that I thought someone hit her car with my car, I was told that I HIT HER CAR. And that one of the teenagers working there saw me do it. Keep in mind, nobody said anything to me about this at any point, when I came in, when I pulled into the space, when I left- nothing. But now that I'm bringing it up, supposedly there were witnesses. I told them to pull the cameras, they don't have any. They said "we have pictures before we took it into the bay" but the pics are on the phone of the person who moved it, 2 mins before it was checked into the bay. obviously this person hit the car backing out, and just took pictures before checking it in.They gaslit me, refused to file a damage claim, and then told me to leave without ANY SOLUTION. had they just taken accountability I would've gone about my day, but its the fact that they tried to gaslight me I DRIVE HUGE TRUCKS FOR A LIVING EVERY DAY. This is my job, if this woman had filed a hit and run case on me, because these people claim I hit her car, I would've gotten in legal trouble and it would affect my ability to do my job. This is serious. I would've taken accountability for the situation but I'm not going to be bullied into thinking it was me when I KNOW I did not that car.
