      Took my car to get a hole repaired. When I got there I was checked in and asked to move my car into a parking spot in the lot. I did so, walked in and gave them my keys. When I got back I was told my tire couldn't be repaired because the rim was bent, we looked at prices of new rims, cost for installation and then they gave me my keys and I got in my car.As I'm about to start the car a woman comes and knocks on my window and accuses me of hitting her car, honestly I told her to **** off and she said "look at your bumper you have a scratch too" I got out and looked and low and behold, there's a big scratch on the front of my car. I went back in and apologized to the woman and then told the front desk that I thought someone hit her car with my car, I was told that I HIT HER CAR. And that one of the teenagers working there saw me do it. Keep in mind, nobody said anything to me about this at any point, when I came in, when I pulled into the space, when I left- nothing. But now that I'm bringing it up, supposedly there were witnesses. I told them to pull the cameras, they don't have any. They said "we have pictures before we took it into the bay" but the pics are on the phone of the person who moved it, 2 mins before it was checked into the bay. obviously this person hit the car backing out, and just took pictures before checking it in.They gaslit me, refused to file a damage claim, and then told me to leave without ANY SOLUTION. had they just taken accountability I would've gone about my day, but its the fact that they tried to gaslight me I DRIVE HUGE TRUCKS FOR A LIVING EVERY DAY. This is my job, if this woman had filed a hit and run case on me, because these people claim I hit her car, I would've gotten in legal trouble and it would affect my ability to do my job. This is serious. I would've taken accountability for the situation but I'm not going to be bullied into thinking it was me when I KNOW I did not that car.

      I've been using Discount Tire for years. The most recent tire installation, I purchased 4 X 255 /50 R20 tires. They put them on in less than 20 mins. The new tires felt a little odd to drive on, at first I thought was because of I picked a different brand hence handling feel a bit different.On my way home when I took a turn, I almost drift into the next lane. When I stop and look at the tires carefully, I found out 2 of my rare tires have the size 245 /50 R20. This is unbelivable. I took the car back to the shop next day. The manager was inferring they scan all the tires and if the size were wrong they won't put them on the car. He inferred the tires could have been labelled wrongly by the manuafacturer. You don't blame others for your mistake that could cause me an accident. They put the correct tires back on. But this is insane. If you are considering using Discount Tire, make sure you triple check what they put on.

      I have been patronizing Discount tire for years in *******, **. I recently made an appointment to have my front passenger tire checked for a slow leak due to the tire light being on and the dash stating the air pressure was much lower than my other tires (22 pressure) for my Durango. In the past I have taken my other vehicle for services over the years. I walked to the gym, because I was told by the young man it would be 45 minutes to an hour. When I received a text stating my vehicle was ready for pickup, I arrived and was given my keys and no paperwork and was told I was all set. I asked the associate, was he sure and he double checked and said yes. (a different associate). Driving home, I noticed the pressure was still at 22 and the light was still on. When I arrived at home, I called the store and let the employee know that my vehicle has the same issue and was told it takes 20 minutes for the light to go away. I left home and drove for 20 more minutes and nothing changed, so I went to a gas station and put air in my tire to 40 and when I started my vehicle and drove off, I no longer had an issue. i called the corporate office and made a complaint and the rep stated someone would give me call and I still have not received a call back. I really thought I had a slow leak because of where I work and thought a nail was in the tire and stated that to the employee. Basically, I wasted my time making an appointment leaving my vehicle for nothing to be resolved. I forgot to mention, after he checked my tires, he stated he didn't see anything wrong the the front passenger tire and volunteered a quote on two driver's side tires front and back stating one of them was really bad and suggested I purchase both for that side. Although this location is close to my home, I will no longer patronize.

      I recently went for a tire rotation and wheel balancing for regular maintenance. I had no issues with any of my wheels or tires when I had it serviced. I drove home afterwords and parked it for a few days since it was a holiday weekend. After the long weekend passed I got back in my vehicle and started to drive to work. At first I didnt notice anything wrong with my car but as soon as I started to drive on the highway it was apparent that something was wrong. It started to vibrate at higher speeds. I proceeded to call Discount Tire and was told to bring it back so they can take a look at it. After waiting and waiting I decided to ask why my car hasnt been looked at. I was told that they dont know what happened and that I will be next. After another while of waiting I was told that my rims were bent. I told the assistant manager ******* that my car was brought to them without any issues. He told me that his guys couldnt have done anything wrong. How is it that he right away said that they had no fault with my issue, when thats all that was done to it. He refused to take care of the problem that was caused by his crew.

      I took my car to Discount Tire to have my snow tires swapped out for my summer tires. They installed 4 different brands of tires, all the wrong size and 2 with severe sidewalk damage. They did not question why they were mounting 4 different wrong size tires on a basically new car (<2500). I did not think to check that the correct tires had been installed and noticed the problem a month later. Discount Tire attempted to defend their incompetence and put me in an unsafe position with damaged tires. They had lost my new tires. They found them a day later and made a very weak apology with no explanation as to how they could let a customer leaver their garage with 4 wrong size different tires, 2 of which had severe damage.

      0 stars. I check in for my appointment, they put me on a waitlist. After 30+ mins, a clerk asks if I had an appointment and I explain that I drove 2 hours on a spare and need a new tire to get home (2 more hours away). He says, "I really really wish I could repair your tire but I can't because of the damage, you need to buy a new tire. I really can't", which was odd given I never asked for a repair. He then proceeds to spend ~30 minutes trying to upsell me and "counter" (his own words) what I want, trying to charge me $300+ more unnecessarily, knowing I just need a new tire since it was unsafe to continue on the spare. After 30 mins of ignoring my "no, just 'x'", he says my request will be seen as "WEIRD" to whoever does my car in the future since I didn't choose what he wanted (do 3 new tires, unnecessarily). He said they might not read the notes, so I should pay for all. I replied that I would just tell them to read the notes. Finally he stops push. 1.5 hours go by, so I ask for my keys back to cancel my request and go where a friend recommended (faster and good service). He says he will do it himself, and I said, no I didn't want him to/it wasn't his job, I just wanted my car back. He pushed more so I agreed and he told me to wait by my car as he made space. In a few minutes he walks back with a new customer whose car was next to mine. ~****** pass, I'm still outside in the heat; I go back inside. After 10mins, he comes to me saying, "sorry, my manager said I had more important things to do, and I tried to go tell you, but he stopped me and said I had more important things to do". So I say "ok, I never expected you to do any of it." He says they'll do mine next. After 30+mins, nothing, so I ask for my keys AGAIN. It's now almost 4pm, and I arrived for my 12:15 appointment hours prior, my car hasn't been touched. Meanwhile, they offer FREE labor and apologize to a man whose part was out of stock. To me, the manager says nothing, cancels my request, walks away.

      We brought our car in and they didnt have our tire in stock. My girlfriend was in by herself while I was out of town and they put a USED tire on as a temporary. Which ok not a huge deal, but it was also a mismatched size to the other 3 entirely and it caused her to have a blowout with our 1 year old in the car. I work in automotive and thats a major safety concern having differing tires per axle. Not okay. They also lost her center cap and told us theyd get us a new one. A month later and nothing

      I had low air pressure twice and went to Discount Tire to get it checked. Neither time did anybody notice that there was a branch pushing against the tire that kept getting low. Finally, the tire blew and I brought my vehicle to the closest Discount Tire location. I purchased four new tires and they still did not notice the branch pushing against the tire when they changed all four tires. I took my car to somewhere else to get oil change and inspection and I told them that it was squeaking, and they found the branch that would have destroyed my brand new tire had it been left there. I am absolutely disgusted

      After paying close to $180 for a new tire to replace a flat tire (for which I was told verbally that there would be an 8000-mile warranty), I reviewed the receipt and found that I had been charge approximately $21 for a "Discount Tire Replacement Warranty". When I asked the salesperson what this was for, he said that it would cover "a $20-credit if I were to get a flat on the same tire" and "that it was a good thing for me to get this coverage". Because this charge was not offered to me verbally, and I would have declined it had it been (fuzzy math--pay $21 now for a potential $20 credit in the future if I get a flat in the same tire), I asked for a refund (which was credited). I was left with a strong distrust for this company because it appears that they routinely tag on such charges for unwitting customers. I will take my tire repair business elsewhere in the future.
