      Since Norton updated a few weeks ago to a new application, my Norton backup and updates no longer work. My laptop is at risk and my data is not fully backed up. I have called Norton at least a dozen times, have 2 remote sessions by a level 1 tech workout success. I have been promised a level 2 tech support call back at least 8 times. They do not call back as promised. No way to talk to a U.S. based agent or complaint person. Talked to 3 supposed supervisors that made same promises. They read from a script to pass off any complaint to another person only o start over with the same unfulfilled promises. Help

      I tried the Norton Software Anti-Virus but couldn't get it to work. When I tried to get a refund I found it impossible to do so. This site is carefully designed to make it extremely difficult to get a refund and acts like a scam site

      I contacted this company because they billed my credit card on October 11, 2024 but my subscription does not renew until November 25, 2024. So, I asked why they were billing me a whole month in advance and their answer was that, "we bill a month in advance to make sure the credit card on file still works". I also was not sure if I wanted to keep the service so I was going to look for a different service but to my surprise, someone changed my settings in my account to auto renew. I never agreed to auto renew as I had set the setting in my account to not auto renew when I purchased the service in Nov 2023. So, when I asked about why my settings had been changed they said that they sent me a letter stating that they subscription was going to auto renew, however, I never received a letter or an email. I requested the letter or email be sent to me and i provided my email and they were unable/unwilling to send me the letter or email. All that the chat agent kept saying is that he/she sent me the email which I never received. I then challenged the chat agent to the fact that there are many companies that have subscription services and they don't bill you a month in advance to make sure the credit card works. He/she stated that they are not a shopping network so therefore their policy allows them to bill you up to a month in advance. I am a little disappointed that this company is operating like this and that there is nothing in my power that I can do to make any changes. The only thing that can come from this is that others that are planning on subscribing to this company have an opportunity to view this review and make a well informed decision so that they are not in the same frustrating situation that I am in.

      I have tried to send multiple times to call and send emails and they will not answer my calls. I have cancelled my account before the annual renewal and they renewed my annual subscription anyway! I am so frustrated with them! Do not sign up for annual renewal with this company! You will not be able to cancel until the next cycle! And they will not answer the phone, it automatically goes to a weird busy signal! It is such a scam! Someone needs to hold Norton accountable!

      AVG absolutely sucks~! I wanted a refund of my money and they are not honoring what they say about refunds~!!!! They wanted me to jump through all their hoops and hurdles and after telling them that No I cannot and will not, I asked them to send me a check for the refund amount of the money that they billed me and came out of my bank account and resolve the issue~! They continue to give me the run around~! I will never again do any business with AVG again and from what I have learned they have bought out AVAST also~!!! So again, I will never use another antivirus product from either AVG or AVAST~!

      Received an email that I was charged $299.98 for Nortonlifelock. Never had it or used it. Mcafee only. Called the number and was told I need to rectify by canceling. The representative was helping me through my computer. When they ask me for more personal info I hung up after being threatened by the representative. He said he would make sure I could never cancel and I would be charged.

      I have Norton with Lifelock home title protection. I changed my home's title recorded on August 20 2024 and still haven't heard from lifelock, today is October 2 2024. Fortunately the San Diego County Recorder sent me an email immediately about the new recording on my home's title providing links to the Fraud Unit at the ****************************. Very disappointed, so much so I've cancelled Norton and Lifelock. There is not easy way to contact them either. Not worth my time. Adios Norton/Lifelock.

      This company is borderline scamming people, potentially senior adults. Operates under AVG Virus Protection for Computers. I subscribed for one year at low cost. After one year they automatically charged my credit card for additional year at three times initial costs.Very difficult to get refund. The customer service number given to my credit card company was Norton Technologies. Called that number and they stated had not had relationship with Avast in five years.Finally, with help of **************** representative, found a place to unsubscribe.Was extremely difficult to file requests.Believe this company is intentionally automatically renewing and making it difficult to contact them in order to keep funds charged.Beware of AVG Avast Technologies.
