      This was the absolute worst experience ever. I went online and found my car I put in all of my information submitted all of my check, stubs, bank statements, and tax returns. I paid the money for my vehicle and I even picked out the day for it to be delivered. I got all the way to the end when they told me thank you for my purchase only for them to turn around and say that they couldnt use my bank statements because they dont use one main financial. Then they turned around and told me it would take up to 15 days for me to get a refund of my money. They never shouldve taken the money to begin with if they knew that they couldnt use my check stubs. I do want to say, though that customer service over the phone was very polite very helpful and very straightforward. I will be getting my money back, but it seems to be an issue that they run into a lot. I feel like this is not very good business letting people pretty much purchase an entire car And then telling them that you cant use their bank statements even though its a literal checking account.

      I am filing a formal complaint against Carvana for repeated service failures, unacceptable vehicle conditions, and refusal to provide fair compensation. On May 24, 2025, I purchased a 2022 Kia ******** LX and scheduled pickup at a vending machine location. This experience was a big part of why I chose Carvana. Instead, the vehicle was delivered more than 26 hours late and I never received the vending machine experience I was promised. The delay caused major inconvenience and disrupted my plans.When the car finally arrived, it was in terrible condition: dirty interior, crumbs and sticky residue, fogged headlights, oil on the engine, a broken infotainment screen, defective key fob, a malfunctioning trunk, and a seatbelt that could not fasten. After reporting this, I was issued an exchangeonly for the replacement vehicle to also arrive dirty and clearly not detailed. Thats two SUVs in a row delivered in unacceptable condition, which is a clear sign of failure in quality control.Despite all of this, Carvana has only offered a $100 check, claiming company policy prevents anything more. This does not cover the actual cost of professional SUV detailing, nor does it reflect the inconvenience and lack of care shown. I was told by a Carvana staff member at the vending machine that courtesy credits and payment adjustments were possible in cases like this, but management denied it.I believe the delivery fee should be refunded, especially with a delay of over 24 hours. Im requesting a $250 credit for proper detailing, refund of the delivery fee, and documentation of these issues on my account. After exhausting all internal channels with no fair resolution, Im turning to the BBB support.

      Carvana told me I was preapproved they werent my down payment which was $590. They told me that I needed to send in my income verification which I did everything I needed to do and then after all that they told me my deadline was done, and I had to redo my purchase and put more money down without processing my application Now its gonna take 2 to 3 weeks to get my money back and they also asked me to show proof of income insurance before I even had the vehicle so I would say do not use Carvana they rip off

      READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY. 2 out of the 3 cars I received were NOT as described and appeared to have problems (The 1st and the 3rd) immediately. Unfortunately, the third car is not covered under their "7 day guarantee" and it is yours if you accept it, there is nothing you can do about this. They do not provide an easy opportunity to test drive vehicles whether you pick up the vehicle or have it delivered. In fact, all of the employees I interacted with rushed away once the keys are handed to you explaining you have 7 days to return/exchange if there is a problem. Furthermore, their 100 day limited warranty provider covers literally NOTHING. My new 35k$ car was in the shop by day 2 costing thousands to fix. Upon calling them I was told my 3rd car is no returns/exchanges because I "accepted" the keys, and does not have a 7 day "test drive". CARVANA IS NOT AS IT APPEARS. Hope this is helpful.

      BEWARE OF CARVANA UNFAIR PRACTICES AGAINST SELF-EMPLOYED BUYERS I applied and was approved for a vehicle through Carvana. On my application, I clearly stated that I am self-employed and own two legal CBD stores. After approval, Carvana called and asked for paycheck stubs. I explained that, as a business owner, I dont receive traditional paychecks and that my application already reflected that.Despite reviewing my bank statements and confirming a monthly income flow of over $100,000, they still insisted on traditional payroll stubs which do not apply to self-employment. I canceled the purchase within the allowed 24-hour window.Even though I canceled properly, Carvana has still not refunded my large down payment and delivery fee. This has caused unnecessary financial stress and wasted time.If you are self-employed or a small business owner, BEWARE of Carvanas unfair verification practices.       They don't even deserve 1 star, they get your hopes up and change your down payment 3 times, insane and ridiculous because of the excuse they gave me, I used to refer people to carvana, now not no more we all will take our business somewhere else, they are crocks

      Make sure that you really want the car because they take your deposit right away and tell you they didnt get the payment till 3 days after they took it. ( they dont do pending transactions) . So then 15 days from the day they receive it they will release it but you are supposed to get emails where your money is. Im 12 days in and no emails and they just give u the run around on the phone. Nope rather go to a dealer

      ******** customer service. agents are untrained and extremely dishonest. I'm yet to get the car that I already paid for but every time I had to talk to them - they have lied to me, talk very disrespectfully, addressing me by first name without reason nor permission., made a point to be sarcastic and gloat because of the problems that have been created by their people.

      Ordered a car on Carvana. Loan check was sent from ****, car insurance was purchased and had selected a pickup date. Carvana calls that afternoon and said if they dont get pictures of the loan check they are releasing the vehicle back for sale. **** took there sweet time sending the check but it was scheduled to be delivered to my house a day prior to the vehicle pickup date. Logged onto the Carvana site and delivery date was no longer available. Car was released back for sale. Wont refund my shipping fee, had to cancel the loan and car insurance. Total joke. Will never attempt to purchase a vehicle from here again.
