5 starsGreat ***************** ****** was so helpful, supportive and encouraging. I walked in with one of my best friends. Everyone was busy however 1 sales came up and offered us bottle of water and told us someone would be with us shortly. I applied on line therefore my application was there and I was approved. ****** showed me what I could get. I loved the 2019 Buick Encore with low mileage and great condition. Everything went smoothly. ****** was patient with me as I searched for auto insurance. My phone was about to die and ****** found me a charger. I was able to attain auto insurance. The process was smooth. I am forever grateful for Drive Time, ****** and the other salesmen for their kindness!Review fromOlujimi T

I purchased a 2016 Kia ****** LX Turbo from DriveTime in ********* on 12/15/23, and since then, I have experienced constant mechanical and electrical failures that DriveTime has failed to properly address.1.Engine Failure Car Was Inoperable for 3 Months Shortly after purchase, the engine completely failed, and I could not use the vehicle for three months while DriveTime replaced it under warranty.I was left without a car during this time, with no compensation or assistance for the inconvenience.2.Repeated Battery Failures (3 Replacements in One Year)Since the engine repair, I have had to replace the battery three times, indicating a serious electrical issue (parasitic drain, alternator failure, or ECU problem).DriveTime refuses to investigate the cause, forcing me to pay out of pocket for repeated issues.3.Ongoing **** ************** Valve Failures (4 *************************** purge valve has failed four times, and the issue continues. While the **** system is not covered under warranty, this is likely caused by an underlying electrical issue that was present at the time of purchase.4.DriveTime Has Been ********************* Despite repeated attempts to get DriveTime to fix these ongoing failures, they have offered no real assistance. They have failed to properly diagnose the root cause of the issues, leaving me stuck with a defective car that constantly requires expensive repairs.Desired Resolution:I am requesting that DriveTime:1.Perform a full repair at no cost to me, including electrical and ECU diagnostics to identify and fix the battery drain issue and purge valve failures.2.Provide financial compensation for the repeated out-of-pocket costs I have incurred due to DriveTimes failure to properly repair or diagnose these problems.3.Offer a buyback or vehicle replacement option if the defects cannot be permanently resolved.DriveTime

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention; we appreciate the opportunity to address our customers concerns. We regret to hear of any mechanical concerns our customer has experienced and the frustrations this caused. Please know that we make every effort to prevent mechanical malfunctions by inspecting each of our vehicles before transporting them to our sales lots. However, since our vehicles are pre-owned, we are unable to predict exactly if or when these issues may arise. For this reason, we provide a 30-day, 1,500-mile warranty and offer our customers the option to purchase an additional protection plan. It is important for our customers to know that if the repairs needed on the vehicle are determined to be non-covered components, they would be considered the customers cost of ownership. In addition to these coverages, we offer a 5-day Vehicle Return Policy (VRP), which allows our customers the opportunity to inspect and get comfortable with their purchase. If they are not pleased with their vehicle, they can bring it back within the first 5-business days (not including the date of sale, holidays we are closed, and Sundays). That said, we apologize once more for our customer's dissatisfaction with our **********************. If our customer wishes to discuss their concerns directly with us, we encourage them to contact our ***************************** at **************.Review fromJames l

If I could provide zero stars that is exactly what I would do. They dont even deserve a rating. I bought a car in November of 2023. The car didnt work. I would drive down the road and it would completely stall out and shut down. I had to immediately return the car. Which they did voluntarily take back. In doing so they told me that this next car I was being put into was the only car I could receive and if there was something wrong with it they wouldnt be putting me in another car. They stated the return policy. Well in ******** it didnt rain for 30 days. We got a horrible week of rain and my driver side and passenger side of my car FLOODED. When I say flooded I could scoop water out. But it was passed the 30 day ***** They said there was nothing they could do. This car has had problem after problem after problem. And again. There is nothing they can do. They sold me the car this way. A car that had been leaking for who knows how long before I bought the car. Instead of insuring people are being put into cars safely they are out here taking advantage of people trying to get back on their feet. Stay clear people. Most cars they sell are lemons. They do not do correct inspections on cars. given both cars I bought from there is enough proof alone. I worked so hard to get back on my feet and since getting this car it has been problem after problem.DriveTime

5 starsFor a buy here pay here i was pretty amazed! The sales men didn't bug us a bit we walked in told them the three we were interested in and one by one they brought them up front for us to test drive! The whole process was crazy easy! This comming from a guy that has a very low tolerance for bullshit! We delt with 2 gentlemen and both answered the question we asked explained some things to us and we were on our way !! Now with that being said I've read some comments on here and must say most of us go to car lots like this because somethings come up in our lives and maybe our credit isn't the best so yea we have to over pay for the vehicle! And I've only had this one for a day but I can say it's as clean as a new vehicle! It seems to run really good now I'm not saying it won't break down at some point but new ones do too ! I guess one thing i got going is I'm pretty decent at fixing anything that runs so if you don't know how to fix a car find someone who does take them with you to check out what ever your buy not only if it needs something now but how hard or much will maintaining the vehicle cost in the futureReview fromElaine K

Not happy with my purchase. Was charged the highest financing of ***** percent for a 2017 ****** ***** . They did not let me choose the vehicle I wanted. I'm very angry. The vehicle is not worth *********. The vehicle also smelled really bad. They could @ least clean the vehicles before selling them to customers. The mileage is too high as well. They had the same vehicle in white and wanted to charge me more money.DriveTime
