Nothing but problems. **************** is worthless. Been a customer for nearly a decade, paying overly-priced rates. I finally got tired enough of it that I ported my number to **** mobile 8 days ago. Well, I wanted the actually flip phone back (not compatible with ****). I reluctantly called Lively back to reactivate my old account so I could use my Flip2 ******* phone. Over an hour on the phone being transferred from person to person. They REFUSED to waive the $35 activation fee. Now again, I was a customer for years and years, then left for 8 days. I've already paid them one activation fee on the same exact phone that I bought from them. The last guy I was transferred to said he could take off $10 and send me a phone case. Ha! Talk about an insult. I refused. Now what kind of company who values their long-standing customers doesn't waive the activation fee they've *already paid once* and have paid overpriced cell service for so many years already? Lively. That's who. So I said NO. You can use other cell providers SIM cards in the same phone. And that is exactly what I'm going to do. There is absolutely nothing special about Lively. It's overpriced and the worst customer service. Yeah, they speak English and are in the US. But why do you have to call them so much is the question you should be asking. Their favorite phrase is "let me transfer you." I think when Great Call became Lively things went downhill. They need to realize that seniors aren't as dumb as they try to act like they are. You can use other providers **** who use Verizon/ AT&T towers (Trac, H2O, Cricket I think too). Of course, Lively is always "very sorry" to hear blah blah blah. Switch carriers and don't even look back. Shame on Lively.Lively

Writing this as I'm on hold AGAIN with Lively. I've been on the phone for over an hour at this point and now talking to the 7th or 8th person....of course they are also "really sorry" for my trouble with them. None of them seem to know what they are talking about, eager to transfer you to someone else who is just as clueless as they are. Then the fun part is you get to waste more time. If this latest rep does not help me I'm just going to pop this H2O SIM card in and get that service. Lively needs to understand that we CAN use other carriers with their crappy ******* flip phone. They aren't special. Yes, they have US-based customer service. Sounds ********************! Until you are here n the phone for hours like I am now. Who cares about that when all they want to do is transfer, transfer, transfer. I've had nothing but issues.Lively

Getting the Lively LifeAlert. - Easy! Getting help with a problem! Refuse to research. I sent in voided check to have payments taken out of my Moms checking account. Received a letter stating charge of $25 because ******* Account found. My Mom has had an account at this bank for over 50 years. A manager refused to research. Asked me to send in another voided check. Why would I do that so info can be input incorrectly again! If I cancel and find another ***************** Im out over $54.00 equipment, $35.00 activation and $25 ACH charge. This is really the worst customer service I have ever seen and the Managers and Lively Company could care less!Lively

I am very y with Lively **************** I had had to call them numerous times to fix a an Issue on my Phone, the one I got from them. The Problems started when the Phone was still under Warranty, the light telling me I had missed a Text Message but when I tried to pickup the Text Message the Phone said there was none. Since I could not delete a message that was not on the Phone, the notification light stay on which caused the Battery to discharge faster. The first two Techs I called were able to turn the light off, but told me it was weak Signal. I explained that my wife had the same Phone as we had both signed up together and she was having none of the Issues. The next Tech.said I had a defective Phone and I was supposed to be sent a new Phone since mine was under Warranty. I never received a replacement Phone, the problem continued so I call again. This time the Tech. There was nothing wrong with my Phone so they would not be sending a replacement. By now the Warranty had expired. The problem returned soon thereafter so to combat the Battery discharge problem I have been keeping it on the Charger. Over the weekend I forgot, removed the Phone from the Charger and did not put it back. It discharged the Battery so I missed a couple of calls. I called again and went thru the Steps with yet another Tech. He was able to get the Light off, but had to reset to factory settings so I lost a few Pictures. I am not Tech, savvy, only use my Phone for calls, seldom Text so It is not a Smart Phone. The problem was corrected again. If tge problem continues again I am finding a new service provider. Very disappointed in Lively.Lively

Cancel lively phone service today. Got my senior mother a phone from lively set up password and account with a ********************** rep for almost an hour.Monthly billed $29.99 discuss almost everything that expected and today I discovered there was no account created my mother data usage was not even communicated they over billed her and charge a huge billed almost a $1000.No good business need reported and shut down.Lively

Would not recommend Lively for following reasons:Billed me for non-existent account Was not available for my emergency call should ask for punitive damages Customer no service, rude and unaccommodating.Im planning to go to Small Claims Court if I am not issued a full refunda total rip-off.Lively

My Mother barely uses her phone. Today (it's been several hours) every time she tries to make a call the message "Call Not Sent" shows on the phone. There is no easy way to troubleshoot this. Tried to restart the phone - it is frozen.This is NOT the phone to leave with an elderly person who has trouble with technology. If I can't figure it out - she definitely won't.The worst phone I've seen.Lively

My husband has had a lively phone for quite sometime actually years, Last week he kept getting a call saying we hadn't paid the bill in which we actually had. Friday night they shut his phone off for non payment. I went into our bank account and printed off all the canceled check for the entire 2023 year. They were all there and when my husband called to tell them they basically called him a liar. I would have sent or faxed them all to them but it wasn't a option they just said we hadn't paid . They didn't even try to resolve the problem. This is unacceptable and we will be taking our business elsewhere.Lively

1 starI cannot recommend Lively. My sister and I tried and tried to get the phone set up for my mom, who is 92 and lives in another state. We attempted each time we visited. She does not use the internet does not have an email address (which is required to set it up, so we created one). We are both highly computer literate. We jumped through lots of hoops to no avail. We never did get it working, not even for one minute. It was very frustrating. There is no way to cancel the phone service online, and the "cancel autopay" link returns an error message. Finally I called the 800# customer service. Of course they would not refund anything, even the rest of the current billing period which had just started. I cancelled immediately anyway. We paid for the phone plus $29/month times eight months for absolutely nothing but frustration. They make it sound easy but it is not. And then of course there is the issue that if your senior has cognitive impairment, it is hard for them to learn and recall the new steps in using it. We thought that would be our only hurdle - and we never even got to that point.
