      By far the worst phone company ever. Shut off service to the phone even though the bill was paid and were ridiculously rude when I tried to call to straighten it out. 0/10. Will be transferring service.

      Didn't send a receipt after multiple requests, nothing with an email from them to show it was legitime no itemized list,In cancellation process before even receiving phone, I disputed the charges, they said they will cancel account once they receive the items back which they are wanting me to pay for the shipping. I can see from the other reviews they are not trustworthy and cannot prove that this a legitimate operation or that they will actually do what they say. They discussed with supervisor and the supervisor would not send us a return shipping label free of charge nor take off the restocking fee. Like I said no receipt and then tried to give me itemized list over the phone. but not company email no actual information to verify it is legit. Then they tried to send me to their financial person and there was no one at that transfer only a voice mail that hung up.No proof this is really legitimate thoughtful or caring company Lively.com. **************** was from ********. They shipped from ******** ** but still no reciept 3 days later, and no phone!I will see how they handle this from here. And will report back.

We see that during your call to us on December 16, 2022, we found that your email address on file was incorrect and although it was updated, a new receipt was not requested. Additionally, your account was cancelled per request on December 17, 2022. We show that the phone was delivered to your front door on December 22, 2022. If you have not opened the package, you can simply write return to sender on the outside, and take it back to *** for return. Once the phone is received by us, a full refund will be processed.       I found an ad in AMAC and AARP magazines and trusted them without reading reviews noting today that they have a BBB rating of A+.Well, I was to get unlimited minutes only to find when setting up 1 of 2 phones that they would be billing based on usage. This is classic bait and switch. I am attempting to return phones and equipment plus ask for a refund of over $160 initiation fee. No way that this ********** deserves an A in BBB rating. This company should be shut down and the ads are plainly false advertising.Please investigate and warn the public. Very sophisticated scam and I was fortunate to read their terms and conditions. I am very disappointed and now ***** of Communist companies and companies that are based in **********.

      A horrible and deceitful company that commits elder abuse violations. Stay away from them! They overbill for services never rendered. Seems to be a bait-and-switch operation. They keep billing me despite BankofAmerica disputing all but $20 of the charges, in my favor. **** told me that I do not owe them more than the $20, yet they continue to bill me! Awful.

      The service and phone were adequate for the needs of my 80 year old father. When I tried to cancel the service it took 3 separate attempts to cancel it. I called September 30th ,spoke to **** and asked to to cancel the account. I called again on November 3rd and asked ****** to cancel the account after being billed for the October billing cycle. On November 30th I called again after being billed for the October November billing cycle. ****** said that I did not specify that I wanted the account cancelled as of the date I called in September. He said the notes in the account did not specify a date to cancel. I dont believe that I had to pay for several billing periods because customer service staff dont know how to document a cancellation request appropriately. I think this company is trying to take advantage of elderly clients by continuing to bill for services after they were told to cancel. I am very disappointed and I will advise others not to choose of Lively because of deceptive billing practices . **************** staff are part of this scam and should not be trusted.

      The service and phone is ok but ************** data" is limited to 20GB and is throttled down to absoutly useless after that is used. it goes down to old modem speeds of 56k which won't even allow you to use the ****** maps and is very dangerous if an elderly person is trying to use the ****** map and happens to run out of data. There should be a message saying you are out of unlimited data and are now running on very little data. Like filing up a glass of water ************. Should at least be 2MBps not useless data.

      Hello, we are sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with the service. The unlimited data plan will include 20GB of data at 4G LTE speed during a billing period. Once you exceed the 20 GB allotment, the data speeds will be reduced to 128kbs for the remainder of the billing period. The voice and text services will not be affected. Once a new billing period begins, the data speed will be restored to normal. This is disclosed to everyone who choses ************* data plan.

      I am very disappointed in the Lively Jitterbug Flip phone. This is sold as a phone that is easy for older people to use. That is far from the truth. Just making a phone call require a dozen steps because you must press OK with each step. If they have received a text, the dial option is virtually impossible to navigate back too. This includes just trying to dial a phone number. Texting with a flip phone is difficult at best and there should be an option to disable texting. The emergency button should be programable to add a personal phone number. The second problem is Lively sold the new phone number to marketing spam. Withing one week of activating the phone there were more than one hundred (100) spam calls. And another 100 spam text messages. There is no option to clear them all out at once. That does not matter because there will be another 100 calls and text within the next week. This is the most useless phone I and my dad have seen. He can run a smart or iPhone much easier than the Jitterbug. What a waste of money. Things that need to be fixed.Block Spam and only receive calls from those saved.Block Text the same as spam.Call numbers from the saved file with just one click.When you open the phone, you can always dial a number.

      their accounting procedures are a mess. My credit union sent them a payment and they also charged by credit card for the same payment. Getting hold of customer service to correct THEIR error is next to impossible.

      I can confirm that Lively places no priority on customer service. They repeatedly promised to call back regarding a timely issue, but did not. Customer service reps would commit to an action, and then not execute the action.I would receive assurance that the information conveyed in a phone call was documented, for future reference, but the following phone call, their would be no record of that call/information. These failures didn't occur once or twice, but roughly every other day for a two month period when I was trying to get a basic service completed. If any one client service rep had committed to completing the action, no additional phone calls would have been required...
