Since we order Viasat we have had nothing but problems. We tried to watch a movie and all it does is buffer. Instead of the hour and 45 minutes it took almost 3 hours to get though the movie. Plus their service doesnt last all month. I canceled the service and they are charging for a month plus $300 + for cancellation. I would advise anyone not to get Viasat.

We started with Viasat in late 2018. Their service was not bad and the best option we had for our location. We moved in June of 2021. Viasat was contacted that we would be canceling service in October (I admit, I forgot to cancel until October). I never questioned being charged $200 a month for internet we were not using because I forgot to call. They said I had to pay for the equipment left (ok, fine $400) I paid it. After no charges for almost a year they have started charging me $200 per month again for the last 6 months. I have called several times and I see there is now a charge for $365 in October 23. I will be calling again demanding a refund or I will be contacting my attorney. Absolutely horrible company when you try to leave them. Wait for fiber to come to your area or try ***** Super easy to cancel them when fiber become available in our area!

When the Viasat installer came to our house we told him it was only me and my wife and we use the internet for our phones, computers and TVs (no gaming). He recommended the $99 Internet plan and said you can cancel anytime if it doesnt work for you. We decided to go ahead with the installation and in less than a week we were out of data and unable to watch TV even though we only had two TVs in the house and never had more than one going at a time. We called to cancel the service and my wife talked to a manager and made him aware of the issues we were having as well as what the installer said that we could cancel anytime. The manager said we have a two year commitment and would be charged to cancel early which was never relayed to us by installer. They also sent contract in an email to be signed but the two year commitment was not made clear. The manager ended up upping our service to the $299 a month plan for $199 a month for first year. We still had issues with service in and out so we called a few more times to complain about issues and were dropped off the phone call. We have poor cell service at our house location so we lean heavily on internet service. Recently, my wife had a medical emergency and we had limited communication with emergency personnel due to the internet service provided by Viasat. We have canceled after two months and have been told we owe $330 for early termination of contract which I will not be paying. Poor internet service, communication and customer service! Dont fall for the sales pitch!!

******* of ******** slow after 3 days. When you cancel 2 days after your end date they charge you a full month of service. And then $300 cancellation fee. I have to pay $500 to cancel and get them paid in full. Not correct and fair. Do not take their service.

I ordered Viasat one year ago. The whole year has been nothing but problems. Once we paid the bill, our service would drop down shortly after we never had high speed Internet could not run more than one TV if that ran because after 4 oclock in the afternoon we would have no service whatsoever. They charged us $180 to cancel a service that we never fully got in the first place. I would not recommend them.

11/16 I had installation done with Viasat at about 2:00 pm, that same evening I couldn't open app, couldn't set up account after trying 5 times, and plus technician didn't give me receipt for installation on a pole (that's a tax write off for my business since I do work from home 1/3 of time.So with those issues pressing, at 8:00 am on 11/17 I called to stress my concerns under a 24 Hour window, I was having and just cancel with them. They wouldn't do it without a $400 cancel fee! I was appalled and argued on the phone with ***************************** and someone named ***, for an hour in a half stressing that most places honor 24 hour window of return or canceling free of any charges. ended up having to get my business attorney on another line to help me get out of contract with no charges. Plus, my attorney informed me that just accepting installation is not grounds for a signature, that what I was emailed was a form of forgery and theft of my signature, attached to a 1 page incomplete contract. | even had to go and cancel my bank card Viasat had on file as a precaution

This is the most scammy company I have ever dealt with and after disconnecting they have charged me for two extra months and have been giving me the run around to give me my refund. If you read this and you want internet. You need to just. Get Starlink. Hands down a much better experience.

Viasat is not a satellite internet company I would recommend. From day 1 I was lied to. I agreed to a contract of 1 year at 300mbps download speed for $180 a month. The service tache came out and installed the dish and set everything up. They had me sign an iPad they said this was to verify install. I asked when I sign the contact and they said "you just did. Have a nice day". Okay no big deal. Well my speeds were about 15mbs down and horrible connection. I called the customer service line and then I discovered the contract they gave me was for 2 years at $180 a month. I obviously disputed this and the download speed and the guy told me they don't offer 300mbs download speed in my area but I had a recorded conversation of the sales person claiming I would get that. He told me I could cancel the contract for something like $60 a month for each month remaining. I was furious and instead they offered to lower my monthly payment. This company is a scam and will take advantage of you every chance they get. They treat you as if you're ignorant and will straight up lie. I've had a horrible experience with them and the Internet I have for the next 1.5 years isn't even good enough to stream a movie. If you're reading this, go somewhere else! DO NOT USE VIASAT IF YOU WANT QUALITY SERVICES AND PRODUCTS. Thanks for reading and hopefully I can keep you from enduring this awful service. Thanks.

Internet is constantly experiencing issues. They charge too much for it to be a constant battle with getting service. They lock you into a two year contract and then make it impossible to even use the internet. Been without internet all day and cant get a technician appointment until Thursday. Would leave 0 stars if it was possible.
