Is there a place to put negative stars here somehow? All I can say to potential customers is RUN AWAY! DO NOT GET VIACRAP INTERNET. Its super slow (even by rural standards where the bar is low), its expensive, and its extremely unreliable the second theres even a breeze, raindrop or snowflake in the vicinity of the stupid dish. The speeds you get are HALF of what you pay for and whats promised on a good day. Its also over $200 per month for a measly 300GB of high speed data, and when you blow through that in like 3 days, the speeds CRAWL at best. AND if you want to break your contract because youre so frustrated youve decided to break down and get Rip Off of the Century Link to bring conduit from the road to your rural house for an ungodly sum of $3K+, you have to pay $15 per month left in your contract to stop the Viacrap torture. The fact that this is the only option for many people living in areas considered considered rural is borderline criminal, and definitely discriminatory. I cant run my business, my kids cant reliably access the internet to complete schoolwork, and nobody can stream anything-even ******* stalls and buffers! Worthless. Completely worthless! Its **** and we cant be better than this? WE DESERVE BETTER! As my Grandma would sayShame on you Viasat. Shame.

I made a poor and very expensive decision to secure service from this company. It seems to me that the majority of the income stream for this company comes from dissatisfied customers paying a high price to cancel. Very poor service with zero support.

Viasat required a credit card number to initiate an inquiry into their services. The charge was to be $100 but they wouldn't charge us unless we signed up. We ended up using a different company yet Viasat charged our card for the $100. When I contacted them, they denied charging our card and would not refund the $100. I ended up filing a complaint with my credit card company where it was eventually resolved with Viasat refunding the money. Would never recommend this company.

Worst company to deal with. Their original 'deal' did not supply our internet needs so within one month i asked to disconnect, spent hours on the phone with supervisor and got them to wave the disconnect fee of $345.00, sent their equipment back, and now being charged for my monthly fees to which i called their billing to reverse - **** business days, had to do their job for them. NEVER NEVER give this company your debit/credit card number for auto pay. 0 stars.

This is the worst internet provider in the industry. Hands down. I have had internet through this company for 3+ years and each year I have ran into a issue where the equipment has failed and they make the customer pay a service fee to have someone out to look at the issue. Each time it has been equipment issues they had to replace. Viasat does not have in-house technician's to help their customers, so they use a third party company to do repairs. That leave little room for them to be able to help when a problem arrises. The customer support is as awful as it gets and I recommend people DO NOT use this company for a internet provider useless someone is looking for constant internet issues.

The speeds they advertise and sell are not the speeds you actually receive. They also fraudulently charged me 2 months after I canceled my service. If I could give zero stars I would absolutely do so!

Viasat is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their internet is TERRIBLE. Youre given a high-speed data package when you sign up. The high-speed data is mediocre at best when it comes to speed. After you run out of data, you may as well not have internet. Then when you find a better internet service, you have to buy yourself out of their contract for $15/month and take the satellite off of your roof yourself and mail it back. I wouldnt recommend Viasat to my worst enemy.

Absolutely terrible, triple zero STARS. I telework fulltime and called them this morning early telling them I had no internet, after about an hour of them rebooting on their end and me rebooting on my end they said they would have to send out a technician. Mind you I telework full time and absolutely must have reliable internet, guess what they scheduled my service appointment for 9 days from now. How is this possible? The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced, if they didn't have me over a barrel due to my location, I would drop them immediately, already tried STARLINK and its doesn't work in my area. How do run a company that provides a service and when it goes out you don't have the ability to get someone out to fix the problem with their product within 24 hours. I would highly recommend that no one get this internet. NO ONE!

I am giving it two stars because at least I was able to work using the service for three and a half months, until I couldn't do it any more.1. They didn't even ask me how to spell my name to start off with services. Took 6 calls and two months to get it fixed.2. The installer did not align the dish right from the start. One of the times I called in about my name they told me a tech was scheduled to come out on 9/2 from 5-8 pm. They no called no showed. When I called in about that, they said the tech didn't have the equipment needed to adjust the dish. They rescheduled me for 9/23. To fix a problem they caused.3. I asked the sales rep specifically to confirm if 400 gb of data would cover 6 phones, 3 tvs, and me working from home 8-5. She assured me it would. I had to start purchasing data after week two. It's not cheap. When I called cs to find out what was going on, they said they now had a business hours plan to give unlimited data for remote workers from 8-5 Monday through Fridays for 40 dollars extra.4. I purchased the plan for **** a month that stops you from additional charges for a tech to come out if needed. Yeah, when the tech came out I received a charge for 4****. Then when I called about the charge, I was assured that I would receive a refund in the form of credit on my next bill. The request was never entered.5. The same day the tech came out, voice service was added to my bill. I didn't ask for it, didn't get any equipment for it, when I called in about that charge, I was told they would remove it. They didn't, to the tune of approx 30 dollars a month. 6. When I finally called in to cancel, after biting the bullet and getting starlink, I finally had the privilege of speaking to a supervisor. Because I was cancelling. He tried to keep me by telling me that they now have a plan that is the same as what I was paying for plus free ****** Plus for $120 a month. My last bill was 325. Add insult to injury. Cancelled

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with my entire life!! When I was seeking internet I was told that I have a 30 day trial period when I was talking to rep.well when they failed to actually tell me that I was in a contract for 2 years! I hope this company goes out of business because they are a bunch of liars!
