      Viasat hooked up our internet service Saturday evening on 10/29/22. On Monday morning my husband attempted to log into his VPN work network. It wouldn't connect. He immediately called Viasat's IT department and spoke with both ************** After hours of various attempts to connect, THEIR IT TECHS, determined we were too far out to connect. ( we are in a new, rural, construction area with currently only a few homes). Before hanging up, we were told Viasat would send out boxes in **** days for us to return their equipment. I immediately called Viasats customer service and spoke to *******, to let them know of our circumstances and to disconnect service. He assured me there wouldn't be any charges since we didn't use their service. He also removed out payment method to insure this (confirmation # ********). A week or so later, I received a text saying we have a outstanding payment of $69 and some change. I again called customer service and this time spoke with ****. I explained to her the story above. She insisted that no boxes would be sent out for the return of their equipment until I paid the outstanding bill. Also, if I didn't return their equipment I would have additional future charges. She refused to let me speak to a manager and said this would be reviewed but offered no further course of action. However, I can't chance that they will do their job since I've had nothing but headache since day one. I do not need this going against my credit, therefore I am asking for your help to resolve this matter.

      Worst internet ever!!! Buffering, slow speeds, no connection. I wish I could post a video showing how bad it is. If you need to work or game or just want to enjoy a movie DO NOT SIGN UP WITH VIASAT!!!

      They Overcharge making you pay 2 1/2 more than cable because they know the rural consumer cant get fiber They say i do thru my minutes in less than 5 days and say they throttle down afterwords I CANT even get my email during these times all they say is pay more for speed and Pay an additional fee to have devices that i dont own removed (there using my data illegally and Viasat ignores my request to remove them !!! there ads say fast speeds which are false say they have great customer service which is a lie i would never get them again

      Worst costumer service plus a bunch of crooks. I'm literally paying for a service that doesn't work. It is not the product I paid for and they won't give me my money back. I asked for the best and paid for the best and the gave me garbage. I can't believe these kind of crooks can still be in business.

      Worst company ever. Their customer service is non-existent. Since they are one of only two companies offering internet in rural areas, they don't care. I have been trying to log in to my account with no luck. Their webpage and app have been having issues since September and still not fix. What kind of company is this? How bad is their IT department that can restore a login issue across the board? Of course, they tie you up to a two-year contract, so now I am stuck with them. They don't even offer any compensation for their crappy service. I should be able to look at my account whenever I want and have to rely on their crappy phone service with a bad attitude. This is absolutely unacceptable in 2022! For a tech company, they surely ****. I will definitely not be renewing my contract. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

      The absolute worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. They are predatory. They are the only internet option for some people and they know it, it's the only reason they have any business. They deserve to be put out of business and all customers refunded. Insane prices, terrible speeds, constantly interrupted service, no customer service, ridiculous contacts and cancelation fees, how do they sleep at night.

      God cant believe Im even giving them 1 star but thats the least if allows. To start I pay 137 per month for the worst internet possible then if we exceed our data the worst internet possible turns into even worse and nothing loads at all. So then we go ahead and buy the 20gb of extra data for 40$ so now were at 177$ a month just for WiFi that hardly works and have to be cautious of how much were on our phones. Stay away from Viasat its ridiculous and cant wait for our 2 year contract to be over.

      Worst service ever , do not buy . It never worked , dial up internet was better and viasat is expensive and lock their customers in with a contract . I learned after getting a different provider with good service that good internet costs a third of the price and will not lock you in a contract when the service speaks for itself . Viasat is a scam .

      As well if you want to cancel before your contract is up they charge you a termination fee . They want $240 from me to cancel them after giving me expensive internet that never worked

      They charged a high amount for poor service. They had my account on auto pay. I have a screen shot of a representative stating I didn't owe anything. Now 2 years later I'm dealing with a creditor that keeps denying my dispute. They keep stating they need more documentation of my claim. I have even told them they have the wrong account number. Today I got a letter in the mail. One paper has the wrong account and the other has the right one. I do not recommend this company, they rip people off.

      The Worst internet provider.Refuses to apply my ACP discount. For 6 months.When it rains here in N.E. *******, the satellite doesn't work! Ever.Awful
