      Bought this camera with a required ******* plan. After paying 5 or 6 months I had to call it quits with *******. Not only did I never successfully connect the arlo through the sim card, the service didn't work at my house anyway. I did have reliable wifi though and was able to connect through that on rare occasions. My phone would never be able to detect the device. It didn't matter how many times I took out the battery and replaced, or hit the sync button, the thing almost never blinked blue. When it did it was always when you just swiped away from the proper screen and would suddenly stop seconds later as you scrambled to get back to the qr code. Which didn't ever scan without an act of god anyway. Reading other reviews I realize that I had the same issue with it being worth a d$&@ at recording anything it was supposed to. Playback was non existent. I'm honestly just tired of wasting my money on everything these days. It's like not a single business makes product or gives services with integrity anymore.

      Awful. Do not buy this product! For the horrible non existence of customer service. I would rate it a zero and NEVER recommend this product to any one. No going to support any thing this company manufactures. I need assistance reconnecting my system and have been unable to. There is no phone number to call, the "chat" system is so generic it will not focus on my particular issue. Awful. Wish I would have never purchased this. DO NOT BUY. If you can not speak to a human for assistance, this company is crap! Very dissatisfied and even more upset I am stuck with a product I can use when all it would take is someone with knowledge of the product to assist. DO NOT PURCHASE!.

      The worst platform I have ever used. There is NO customer support. When you call any of their numbers you get a recorded message directing you to their unmanageable website. It is impossible to figure out how to subscribe to anything and how to effectively use their app. Since you can never get any help with their product, it becomes impossible to use and extremely frustrating. I wish I could give them a minus rating. Our household "unrecommends" with prejudice.

      I purchased arlo cameras at bestbuy. I get them home and try to connect to the modem on my wifi. I kept receiving a error message. The message gave a error code and a contact support number. So after the third time I called the number. I was then told that I had no protecton on my firewall. The person charged me ****** for lifetime of service to install a firewall security service. Then I find that if I don't buy the monthly monitoring service I would not be able to record anything. I was on a three month trial basis. By now I am not impressed. I go ahead and put the cameras up to try them. I had installed the app on my tablet. Now I wanted to install on my husband's tablet. I received the same error message that the firewall security was supposed to take care of. So now I noticed the cameras would work when they wanted to. I walked up 3 feet to the back one before it came on. My hubby took them back to the store today. Tomorrow I will be getting a refund from home to smart home for the firewall security.

      Horrible customer service. Massive amounts of wasted time trying to fix problems. Returned two cameras that will not connect. Never again..sadly I have three other Arlo devices. Stuck with them for now

      This company started out very well to get their name and reputation as a high quality security cameras offering the latest technology at the current time. It was first known as Netgear that gave birth to Arlo. After they sold it, seems like the new firm does nothing to support customers and will not offer a viable solution to a problem. Ive bought their products since 2018 and was pretty content during that time. I sold the home and moved to another state and purchased their latest and greatest cameras. The Arlo Ultra XL. At this time I thought they would have the same quality as previous but after having it for a few weeks, it comes to appear they stopped offering the 7 day free cloud recordings which was all that I needed. So they only offer it to lower end products. Basically you get more if you pay less for their cameras. That last options was to have a SD micro card installed at the base of the Arlo unit. Tried everything I could and researched online and all I could read were highly frustrated customers. I contacted Arlo Support. They had me redo everything Ive done, twice. They blamed everything else except for their product basically. Last thing I was suppose to get a call from their engineering since last Wednesday. Still waiting.

      Paid up for a 3-4 year subscription and now we no longer have access to our video library. We keep getting a message that says we need to upgrade to a subscription THAT WEVE ALREADY PAID FOR!!! Every time we call were told someone will call us back (no one ever calls back) or theyre upgrading their system and well have subscription access again in 4 days. Well, that was 3 weeks ago and we still dont have access. Im not one to call a company a scam bc of one bad experience, but this company IS a scam.

      I bought Arlo Pro 4 cams from ******* I started to use the cams. Unfortunately, not long I found the charger was not working and it was not able to charge the batteries. I used online chat to contact the customer service. They told me to test different ways to see if the charger really was not working, and confirmed that the charger had defects. So, they agreed to gave me a battery replacement to try and mail back my batteries if the replacement worked, and asked me to find the purchase receipt even though they can find my cams from their end. I have already lost my receipt unfortunately. So, I had to start another chat contact with them, and they agreed to give me a charger replacement this time. It took me another half of a month and I still didn't get anything. Had to chat to them again. Saying charger is out of stock. The cams were dead one by one. It's been a few month since I started to contact them for a solution. I don't know how long I will still need to wait. I didn't expect this small problem can take such a long time without a resolution. The customer service is really not very good. Hope people can pay attention to this company.

      The worst company to deal with!! I ordered an Arlo Go 2 camera. Site said order ships in 2-3 days and card would not be charged until item ships. More than a week later, camera still not shipped. my card had already been charged and they refused to cancel the order. I refused delivery of the camera and returned it to them. They emailed me an update request daily for my case number regarding this problem which I gave. I even received an email asking for an update after they said they received the update on 9/19 informing them they received their return. 8 days later they are still saying they need to check to see if they received their camera and, if so, will issue a refund in ***** days even though they had been notified on 9/19/22 their camera was received back at their facility for rerun. Impossible to deal with. I am now cancelling the subscription on my other cameras and replacing those cameras with another brand that will hopefully be more reliable since their service has gone to h*** after I levied my dispute with them. Steer clear and buy another brand!!! They only deserve a ZERO star for sure!!

      The worst customer service I have ever encountered. If you have a 2.4/5.0 router forget it. Terrible product support in total. And, NO human customer service. If I could I would rate this zero stars.
