Scam artists . Deceiving and lying. AVOID . Tons of novice kids who are just overcharging people and ripping them off. No quality of work they just wanna do mass numbers and get on to the next one so they get their funds from the bank after substantial completion meaning after racking and panels are up they get paid and dont care after that . LIKE I SAID AVOID

Especially my rep ************************ Always on top of every step of the process, keeping me updated on the progress, and letting me know when everything was up and running. **************** 2/01/2023 Six months and my Solar Panels have not been turned on, they have been sending out inexperienced people to do the work, I signed up for their program and the sales person told me that if I have any problems to give him a call, only problem is he never answers his phone. Better Earth has failed the cities inspection each and every time. I feel I am been strung along while they play these games, last time the city came out I was told by the city that my electric panel is in compatable for what they are trying to do. so when I contacted them they acted like it is no problem, if it`s not designed for my electric panel, then why are you telling me it`s ok. They do not care about you and they just want you to pay for solar panels that are never turned on. I can`t keep going through this stress.Better Earth Solar

Better Earth was quick in getting everything setup for permits and installation. Completed on 12/10/22. The problem began on 1/3/23 when the rain came to Southern **********. I noticed water marks under the eves of my house where the rain doesnt hit. I climbed up on the roof in the rain and found that the installer had broken over 20 tiles and 8 ridge caps and I was never told! My house is only 14 months old, brand new construction. I contacted them, they came out on 1/4 and 1/5 to put tarps on the roof and do spot checks in the attic. I was told that they would contact me to do the roof repairs. No contact, a week later I called for an update. They took my information and someone from customer service called to verify the information. No call back. Called again 4 days later because it was raining again, was told they would contact me, no call back. Called again the next day, was told they have no idea when they will get to my roof. Called sales rep, no call back, but texted he would call me the next day. No contact. Called customer service the next day, they reviewed my request, again verified info, said someone will contact me. No contact. Called sales rep next day. he texted that he forwarded my request on and I should hear back yesterday. No contact. I have only had contact with this company when I called them. No follow up, no response as to when roof will be repaired.Better Earth Solar

We had solar panels installed on May 25, 2022....It is January 19, 2023 and the panels are still not hooked up! We have had 4 inspection appointments with the city. Two of those appointments were cancelled due to rain which I understand. Another one the person at Better Earth left for another appointment he had to get to. 30 minutes later the city inspector showed up looking for him. Finally the last appointment was yesterday, Jan. 18, 2023.....No one showed up! Despite the numerous texts saying they would be there. I've had it with this awful company! Better Earth is quick to get the installation done but does not care about getting it actually running for you! We are not a priority to them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!Better Earth Solar

In September we signed a contract with them. In October of 2022, we had our system installed. Their initial contact and scheduling was outstanding.They estimated our activation date somewhere in December of 2022. I have called several times, where they have told me they are waiting on the city. I have followed up with the city where they provided me with written notice that Better Earth had never completed their paperwork with the permitting department. Now I have 20k worth of equipment on my roof and no foreseeable date on when my system will be activated. DO NOT go with them and by into the 60 day guarantee. The 60 days does not matter if the system is never activated.Better Earth Solar

Better Earth put panels on my roof the first week of October 2022, and failed the city inspection because they didnt complete the install at the meter. Well, its the first week of January 2023, and they still havent come back to finish the job.I call their offices/phone centers multiple times a week and get the same answer that this is new info and a team member will call us later that day.Initially this seemed like a promising installer, very polite and communicative, but feel screwed over completely at this point. Literally no follow through or accountability for products or services.Avoid this company at all costs.Better Earth Solar
