One of the key components of your solar system as well as a very expensive piece is the demand management computer. This equipment was installed on the side of my building but never hooked up or programmed. This tool is the key to saving money with solar. In addition they never came out to explain how the system works or how the components work. I have been emailing daily to **** the person for customer service and no response. So I submitted a formal complaint with SRP and they informed me they have a lot of complaints concerning Better Earth and they are on the verge of being cancelled as a SRP compliant vender.that means no more AZ work.All the reviews say how bad customer service is and they are correct. Once they have you installed, communication is no longer important.When I called Better Earth to have a tech come out they said they never heard about this piece of equipment even though they installed all the solar on my home. And they never give a quick tutorial on how the system works.

Horrible company. Plans were incorrect for the installation. Electrical panel upgrade fogeotten. Communication was HORRIBLE. No follow up when I requested to cancel the instal. Don't waste your time with this company. If something goes wrong you'll never get it fixed.Better Earth Solar

I signed my contract with Better Earth earlier this year in January and it is now 9/8/23 and we are still not live with our system. The issue isn't that the project management of my installation is bad, it's non-existent! It's clear there is no communication between customer service and what is done by tech's to complete the job. And don't be fooled, it's not ****** holding up the process, it's lack of process and excuses that parts are not in so certain aspects of the installation cannot proceed. I just found out our "technical details on the design" need to be updated and this has caused a permit revision and will add another 30 days!Better Earth Solar

I am left with significant buyer's remorse deciding to use Better Earth to put solar on my home. I signed up to have solar panels installed on my home back in Dec 2022. It is now Sep 2023, and the solar panels are still not up and running, and the process throughout it has been confusing. At first, they had me sign a loan for the installation of 12 panels. A couple months had passed, and I was told the city only authorized 9 panels to be installed on my home. A new loan had to be created for now only 9 panels. Meanwhile throughout these 9 months, I have been notified on the tickets back and forth from the solar company and the city regarding permit revisions. My loan began withdrawing monthly payments from my account in ***** The company had promised they would reimburse monthly payments until the solar panels are up and running. So far, I have only recieved the reimbursement check for ***** Nothing recieved for July to now. I have followed up numerous times and keep being told the same thing each month, that the reimbursement check has been submitted to be sent out and not sure why I haven't recieved it. Overall, I highly regret deciding to move forward with this large new loan with the solar company, while paying a monthly payment that I don't even have services on. If I had the option to revert this entire decision back to not going forward with solar I would do so.Better Earth Solar

5 starsThe process of going Solar with Better Earth has been nothing but great. Initially we were a little hesitant since weve had a meeting with another solar company rep and were considering going solar with them. What really made us choose Better Earth vs the competitor was the assessment that ******* did on the Main Electrical panel that avoided us to pay unnecessarily $4,000.00 on an upgrade that ******* from the other Solar company said we needed it. Besides that He went above and beyond and chose an option that saved us another couple grand on dealers fees and surcharges so we end up getting a solar system and Battery for a fair price with a 5-star customer experience. This is worst company to get Solar with as they dont know what they are doing. I have solar installed through them in January but its not completely activated till now.They have submitted wrong/incomplete documents to PG&E at least 2 times causing a long delay. I have to keep on following up to get project updates and it stuck for atleast 4months.They say money will be reimbursed automatically if delays but i have to follow up multiple times for that too and now for past 2months i have not go any even after multiple follow ***Better Earth Solar

5 starsAs I read some of these reviews I dont understand or get why people are so unhappy with the company and the product. My sales rep have done an excellent job with relaying info and scheduling. They were very polite and knowledgeable people. I would recommend better earth solar to anyone who is looking for it.
