So far even though our pge bill didn't really go down as promised but we are satisfied with the service provided by better earth.

5 starsI was not looking to go solar, I had 34 salesman within a month knock on my door and tried to sell me solar which I turned away. ****** from better earth knocked on my door one day, I told him I wasnt interested. With a calm and professional demeanor ****** asked me, Whats holding you up. I explained and the rest was history. He explained everything in detail, showed me power points, graphs, savings ect. ****** was always straight forward and honest with me and explained everything, he showed up during installation and checked the work. Highly recommend Solar Earth but, remember to ask for ****** as your rep.Review fromMichael L

I would give this company a 0 star if I could. After 8 months of signing the agreement, the project stuck even without permit obtained. I signed contract with them in Dec 2022. In over next 3 months, I called/emailed the sales person (the only person I have contact) numerous times on the progress. It was in March this company started to ask me how to submit a *** permit application. I guided them thru. The *** required some adjustment on panel locations. It stuck another month until a project manager said he is going to drive the project. He gave me a written timeline seems to be reasonable. So I allowed the company a second chance. Went into May, my last update from the ** was that he's going to submit the ***/County/Utility permit application next day. Since then, there was no respond to my email/text/phone call at all. Now it is Aug, almost 9 months after the contract, the permits were not submitted. DO NOT trust this company. You are only wasting your time.Better Earth Solar

Better Earth had one of the most competitive quotes but it was a grave error contracting with them for my solar installation. The installation team completed the work quickly but after their install I found out that our dryer had stopped working. The team had already left so I called customer service who sent out a tech 2-3 days later. The tech spent the whole day to diagnose the problem but did not make any effort to fix it. This was followed by 2 more visits over a span of 3-4 weeks during which the techs just focused on how to prove that the issues were not caused by solar installation and during the last visit as the tech was playing around with circuits in our electric panel, our washer and furnace stopped working as well. I asked everyone to leave and hired a professional licensed electrician who was able to diagnose the issue within a few minutes. The installation team had drilled through the live wire connecting the panel to dryer outlet and kept the circuit switched on throughout, even while diagnosing which had caused a surge and damaged the other appliances. This was also a potential fire hazard that could have burnt down the house. Better Earth team continued to make me go through hours of customer service phone calls and another tech visit in which the tech verbally agreed that the only reason behind all the issues would be that the damage was done by the installation team and he would report the same. Meanwhile the finance department is calling for me to settle the pending invoice otherwise they would take legal action. Then today I got a call saying that Better Earth would still not take responsibility and to pay the pending invoice and that they would give me a 500$ discount instead of paying for ~2000$ worth of electrical repairs.Please do not hire this company. They have the worst installation and technician team and even worse customer service. I am afraid if they will abide by their 25 year warranty.Better Earth Solar

Occasionally there are instances where our solar installation may expose pre-existing electrical issues, as was deemed for your project. Horrible service agent. I spoke to a guy named ******. He was unreliable and made me wait for a while. Every time you need to contact him, h*** always tell you that hes busy. Then h*** text us when are we available to talk to. Then well give him our availability but well never call you back. After few days, h*** do the same thing and we reply the same response but never respond. We told him up front about our credit situation and all we need to know is if were good to go or not. H*** make you expect but we ended up waiting. At one point, he texted us that h*** cover first the first few months of our Solar payments and I asked him what he meant, but did not elaborate the details. We decided to just call it quits to this guy. Please if you encounter him, call first the company. Poor service and unreliable. This agent has no sincerity nor integrity. He cant even provide you a good insight of the status of your application.Better Earth Solar

my name is ***************************** i live in ***** *********** ********** in Canyon Country i got solar system install by better earth solar they had a promotion about given a patio cover with the installation while installation was finish 2 weeks after installation is done they said they also said that it will take only 3 months to get everything installed they never finish in 3 months it took 6 month to finished them after it was install untill now im stiil waiting for the patio cover and everutime i call they tell me that they will be calling me back they been saying this seen january 2023 until now my, they promise things just to get the job after that they ignore you thanks i hope someone reads this and dont let them do this againBetter Earth Solar

Representative knocked on my door and wanted to talk. Told me that electric rates in my area were "going to double soon" without any supporting evidence and tried to give me a quote. Sounded very fishy.Better Earth Solar

He was thorough and clear in his explanations of his company and product as I knew little about installing solar. ****** is a very intelligent young man as well as professional and personable.
