Horrible Solar installer. I have had my panels installed in November 2022, and now in July 2023, my inverter is dead. Along the way the following happened:-a) In November, the installers installed the solar panels over my neighbors roof, despite the fact that I told them to make sure the plans were the correct ones.b) Then fixed that two weeks later. Then came the inspections.c) The city inspectors failed them 3 times, a) Grounding wires were not done right. b) Plans were all wrong. c) The new ground wires were exposed and ugly, Better Earth guy had to tidy it up.d) Now that I am in May 2023, PGE finally gave approval to connect to the Grid, inspections had to pass first right? This is where I pay all the money owed to Better Earth.e) Someone sends me an email early June, to set a date for a Better Earth visit to setup the inverter and teach me how to configure my account on the ************************** inverter to monitor power generation from the panels on my roof. Date set June 30th. f) Guess what, great Better Earth planner, No one comes to do anything, their support line is a joke. Imagine being number 3 caller, to next become caller number 4, then caller number 5 after waiting 10 minutes. Sending emails to customer success got someone to reply, but it was still .. looking into it and on and on. Set an appointment with the customer and NOT show up. I waited the whole day at home. As mentioned calling their support line is a joke.g) It is not mid July, nothing has been done, I still DO NOT have SOLAR. Don't do business with these clowns. I call them clowns because they seem to be incompetent, in planning, in installing, in pre inspection work, in customer support and in sticking to appointments. Only person who gave any **** was the sales guy who sold me the 'project', no sound from him since.Better Earth Solar

We purchased solar a year ago and we still have no solar power, the panels were installed in September 2022.The company is giving us the runaround can not give us an answer, in fact they dont even reach out to us, we have to contact them. When they do call us back with no answer on why our solar system is not up and running.Better Earth Solar

She will be pushing your project forward every chance she gets and will update you along the way. As it stands now, it appears that there are some permitting issues with regards to your main service panel that occurred before we took this project on. Better Earth, your customer support is terrible, therefore, your brands reputation has been affected. I wouldnt recommend Better Earth because in my experience, they dont care about you unless it time to collect your money and sell you solar products.Ive a power outage 3 times since installing and not once before I switched but they wont even try to help. Now Im hearing they cant help after 60 days or 6 months (the ladies on the phone said both) after my installation. Ive asked them to show me where its written Im my agreement so I know NEVER to call them again.If I could remove and throw away the whole equipment, I would.I am a customer by the way and will be telling everyone I know about my experience with Better Earth.Better Earth Solar

I'd give zero stars if I could. This has been the worst experience. We had the nightmare of the hurricane then these leeches swarm in, grab their money and go. Played the (888) call game long enough. I want nothing to do with company and no will need to seek legal action to get their equipment removed and *** for a new roof. The worst experience!Better Earth Solar

I had solar panels installed in August of 2022 and they are still not connected as of June, 2023. City inspector has been out 4 - 5 times and each time has found different deficiencies in the installation. The only times anything has been done are when I've called them to complain. Last time inspection failed was June 9, 2023Better Earth Solar

Mi sistema fue instalado hace tres aos, me prometieron que mi pago sera de ************************************************************** pago hoy es de 190 dlls mensuales, la compaa de *** me envi un cobro del ltimo ao por ***************************************** energa necesaria, los contact y no me dan ******* respuesta, en el contrato prometieron reparar y dar mantenimiento al sistema po25 aos, hasta ahorita no se ha dado mantenimiento al sistema desde que se instal (tres aos) ellos dicen que la produccin de energa es de 500 kwats menos, y ****** me est cobrando por casi **** kwats.y Better Earth no quiere hacerse responsable por este dficit, o sea que ahora estoy pagando como 300 dlls mensuales de electricidad, es justo esto? Un consejo: NO HAGAS NEGOCIOS CON BETTER EARTH!!! porque no cumplen sus promesas y no explican a los clientes sobre el proceso y los problemas que puede haber.Better Earth Solar

Hey *********, so sorry to hear about your experience with us thus far and we always want to be sure there is full clarity on any questions you may have!It does look like we fell a bit short on production here which is why we did the reimbursement for the missed production per the agreement and is 100% on us.It looks like it was guaranteed to produce ***** kWh in Year 2 but only produced ***** kWh, and I can see that due to this we went ahead and sent out reimbursement for you.If you are seeing ****** charge you for ***** kWh in addition to the energy your system is producing then it's possible there may have been an addition of energy consumption at your property (AC, electric car, space heaters, etc) OR what we've heard and seen from many of our customers is *************************** up their billing system and not recognizing energy from the system! If you send over your past 2 12 month true up statements you've received from ****** to [email protected] we will be happy to take a further look for you! And if you didn't have anything possible that could have contributed to additional energy consumption, then would advise contacting ****** so they can correct this!Lastly regarding your monthly solar payment starting at $140 and now at $190, this is with the financier and was ultimately dependent on how you did the tax credit. After the 18th month depending on whether you reinvesting the tax credit or keeping it, the monthly payment will have either remained the same or adjusted to be financing the full system amount.Thanks so much and we look forward to helping resolve this for you!Review fromHoward B

My system was installed 10/31/22 and is still not working. the installation happened quickly, I then had to wait 4 months for electrical panel upgrade, then a fiasco with PGE and inspections, then wait for the solar box on the outside of my home, then wait for someone to come and get the roof system to talk with the box, then is dos'nt work, then nothing and I have left multiple messages every time someone will be getting back to me....ya right. 7 months later and still not connected and working.Better Earth Solar

Hey ******, thanks so much for the feedback and completely understand the frustration here. 7 months is an extremely long time, and electrical upgrades can tend to add a good amount of time to the project but 7 months is certainly excessive, and it's our job to effectively communicate and set expectations with you.Sorry to hear about your experience and glad to see that we just received utility approval today to turn the system on. We expect things to be up and running and reflected in the production portal in the next couple of days here, and we're excited for it to finally be working for you!! I would recommend him to anyone is who interested in solar .
