I am submitting this complaint regarding two accounts that have recently appeared on my credit reportsone from Discover Card and another from American Heritage. I am formally disputing both accounts, as I do not recognize or authorize them, and no proper documentation has been provided to confirm their legitimacy.I have filed a report with the ************************ (***) outlining these concerns, as they may involve identity theft or unauthorized reporting activity. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including 15 U.S.C. 1681i and 1681s-2, both furnishers and credit reporting agencies are legally required to ensure that all information reported is accurate, verified, and subject to timely investigation when disputed.Despite notifying the credit reporting agenciesExperian, Equifax, and ************ my dispute, the accounts continue to be reported without resolution or supporting evidence. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), entities who have certified to Experian that they have a permissible purpose may inquire about credit information. For example, organizations that have granted credit or with whom Ms. ****** has applied for credit, or entities collecting on transactions that were initiated, or, on judgments rendered against a consumer,are permitted to make inquiries on their credit report. Requests for consumers credit history remain on their personal credit report for at least two years.
