*RE: Dispute of Incorrect Charge-Off Reporting **************** Account Ending in 7973 Dear Experian,I'm writing to dispute an error I noticed on my credit report regarding an old **************** account (ending in *7973). According to my records and your report this account was charged off and closed on March 9, 2022. However, your report still shows that the balance and past due amount kept increasing well after the account was closed. That doesnt make sense. Once an account is closed and charged off, the balance shouldn't keep going up month after month. It seems like this information is either outdated or being reported incorrectly, which could hurt my credit unfairly.Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, all the information on my credit report must be accurate and complete. Im asking that you investigate this account delete it altogether if the information cant be verified.Customer Answer
