Hello, my name is *************************. Recently, when I pulled up my credit report, I noticed that there is a bankruptcy on my report. I contacted the bankruptcy court associated with the bankruptcy and they stated that they do not report to credit bureaus. Also, I contacted *********** and they stated as well that they do not report to credit bureaus. According to 15 US code 1681a(4) Every consumer has a right to privacy and the bankruptcy reporting is in direct violation of my privacy. This has affected me personally in acquiring credit, receiving employment, and purchasing a house. Also, under 15 US code 1681e(b) and 15 US code 1681i(5) this account is in violation in not reporting 100% accurate because it lists the bankruptcy as the furnisher. This is forgery and misleading because I have a letter from the bankruptcy court that states they do not report this type of account. In order to improve the quality of life for myself and family, I am asking for this bankruptcy to be removed from my credit report immediately. Thank you for your help.
