I have been contacting Experian to please remove any fraud alerts on my credit profile because *********** M&T bank, *********** along with mortgage brokers cannot access my Experian due to a Fraud Alert.I Respectfully contacted the fraud alert **** at Experian to please remove and add my primary address on my credit profile. This credit issue has been going on since July 2022. When the first bank couldn't get access. They gave me two dispute numbers for the address request and we are still here in September still trying to fix the problem. here's the latest dispute number ********** and here is the old one that's still not updated ********** I expressed to them we are in a contract and need this issue to be resolved asap. I researched and saw people with nightmares who have dealt with the same problem. They regret being cautious and putting a fraud alert just in case. I did it due to losing my wallet but thank god I wasn't a victim. We are here now in 2022 looking to buy a home and I can't simply remove alerts or add my primary address to my credit profile (I never asked for my address to be removed). That's the only thing stopping us from signing our home closing.I'm only asking them to please add my primary address to the credit profile along with removing any fraud alerts from my credit profile so lenders can run a credit check with the government so I can get approved for my home loan. Transunion and Equifax are not giving me this much problem. I have attached every single document we can find to send over to Experian so they can resolve this issue before we lose the home due to us currently being in contract. If this is not resolved we are looking to seek damages due to Experian not fixing the problem in a timely manner. I did not want to take it this far but it just feels like they are giving me the runaround. I work hours on end for the police department and should not feel like I cant buy my home due to a address or fraud alert issue

Experian is violating my consumer rights. They refuse to give me a thorough investigation into a collection account. I have asked for a thorough investigation and they only give me a computer generated response. I told them that ab account does not belong to me and they continue to report the account. They won't send me any update except for saying that the account has been verified. I asked for their verification process and they refuse to tell me. This account was erased from other credit bureaus once I mailed them my etc report. Experian refuse to delete it and f=refuse to send me proof of their investigation.

I have tried to have my credit report corrected for over a year now. I have provided all of the federal laws and the required documentation, to the creditor and the credit bureaus. The law clearly states that the report must be ********************** the items must be removed from the report. After requesting several investigations. Each bureau and the creditors, responded the the accounts were validated and the information is correct. I have attach my credit report. All 3 bureaus side by side and did a markup of the errors. There are over 67 errors, between 3 accounts. How can each bureau do a investigation and come back with the finding that everything is correct. When none of the information does not match between the 3 bureaus, not just several items but over 90 percent of the information. if a investigation was actually completed, then it would verify that black and white on their reporting platform. That I have no control over, the information report is proof positive of my claims/ See attachment

      Business Response

      Date: 01/04/2023

Our office recently received your correspondence regarding the above mentioned consumers personal credit profile.

Our records indicate that we have not previously received this complaint from you or the Better Business Bureau.

We have mailed a current credit report directly to the consumer for review.  If there is information appearing on a credit report that is believed to be inaccurate or incomplete, we must have a specific dispute.  Examples of specific disputes are as follows: not mine, paid in full, never delinquent or included in bankruptcy or for public record disputes: not mine, paid/satisfied, vacated or filed in error.  If the status dates, amounts, balances or other specific data is incorrect, the consumer should also indicate what the correct information should be.  Please specify the item or account name and number.

Please provide the consumers specific disputes along with their complete identification information (Social Security number, full name, current address, previous addresses in the last two years and date of birth).  Also, please include one copy of a government issued identification card, such as a driver's license, state ID card, etc., and one copy of a utility bill, bank or insurance statement, etc.

Thank you for allowing me to assist you.

      Sincerely,

Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic.
