Experian, among the other credit agencies, sell your info to solicitors. I applied for a loan and got a million phone calls from very aggressive loan companies! Had to turn off my phone!

Terrible company. Mixed up my info with one of my family member's accounts. Never had that happen through Equifax and Transunion. Called customer representative and were told it will be resolved. A week later all my scores were wiped out on Experian. Called again to report this issue and now they are telling me I have no credit history in the past 6 months and I have to call each and every one of my credit card companies and that there is nothing they can do. They should've never made this mistake when they have the *** and DOB information.

This company is the absolute worst. The government should step in and shut them down. This company is in place to help people monitor and protect their credit. Yet, consumers actually need protection from Experian. For months I have been paying a monthly premium fee to Experian. I moved a few months ago and then suddenly they cant seem to verify my new address. The app kept telling me it was my bank not properly having the correct address info to match my Experian file. I call the bank and as expected they have the correct address on file. Im tired of call their customer ********************** line speaking to Indian speaking people. No offense but Experian customer ********************** team needs to be US based. Their employees have no compassion and do not listen whatsoever. They cut you off when speaking. I would give them 0 starts if that was an option.

It appears that you are dealing with a computer. Its impossible to talk to a real person. They report false information, are slow updating their information which is detrimental to your credit score. In addition they are constantly trying to sell you something whether it be their service, a advertisers credit card, they told me my loan was becoming due, I have not had a loan in six years. They downgraded my score on a balance that was paid in full. It should be illegal for to allow someone so much control of your finances without your knowledge or permission.

I didn't have any issues until I opened up an Experian account. Now I have several fake accounts identity theft with my social security number stolen trying to file a income tax return which I just got a letter from the **** hundreds of soft inquiries under Experian, and several places I have no idea who they are because I didn't do it. My data has been breached. None of this has never happened and I have never had this problem until I opened up this Experian account. My phone has been hacked emails that doesn't matter if I delete the whole ****** account change the email account and put it under a fake name account they still find me under a new phone number that I have. I feel like the whole rug has been pulled out from underneath me. They have even been taking money out of my checking account. I feel like my whole world has been taken from me

I signed up for experian boost 3 months ago to start reporting payments that were approved from their list of merchants. However, after 3 months they were only able to add one of my accounts. I spoke with multiple people to advise of the three accounts that should be reporting and they still have not been able to report it correctly. Instead, they have decreased my score. I am so disappointed in the company because they are quick to take 20 40 points for an inquiry but only add 2-3 points for a positive reporting.

Experian Boost is also a complimentary product of Experian. Using payment data from a customers connected bank account, ********************** Boost allows consumers the opportunity to add non-traditional credit accounts (such as utility and communications accounts) to the consumers report. The addition of this monthly payment data *** result in improved scores for some consumers. The following disclosure appears on our landing page, in close proximity to the link to start the enrollment process: Results *** vary. Some *** not see improved scores or approval odds. Not all lenders use Experian credit files, and not all lenders use scores impacted by Experian Boost. The following disclosure appears in our Terms and Conditions, under the subheading, EXPERIAN BOOST ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: While adding records of recurring payment history to your Experian credit file has the potential to positively impact your **** 8 Score based on Experian data, as well as other scoring models that consider this data (including certain other **** Scores such as your **** Score 9 based on Experian data), please note that results *** vary and not all consumers *** receive a positive impact to their credit score(s) and Experian cannot guarantee or predict with certainty the amount of any score change. Some consumers *** experience no change to their credit score(s), while a small percentage of consumers *** experience a decline in their credit score(s). Due to the complicated methodology used to calculate credit scores, Experian is unable to provide you with details for why your score(s) did not change or decreased. You *** immediately delete accounts added through your Experian Boost account at any time. Our team is working to make enhancements that will enable Experian Boost to capture more utility and telecom payments for our customers. I am submitting your feedback so we *** use it to improve our products and services. While we do not have a timeline for your specific issue, you *** keep your bank account connected so we *** notify you via email when we detect additional utility or telecom payments. Further, regarding scores, it is important to note that various scoring models are available in the marketplace and have different potential uses. Experian CreditWorks uses the **** Score 8 model developed by Fair ***** Corporation, which specializes in developing credit-scoring systems for lenders and other businesses. The statistical calculation of this credit score, and the associated score factors, are proprietary to Fair ***** Corporation.Designers of credit scoring models review a set of consumers - often over a million - who opened loans at the same time and determine who paid their loan and who did not. The credit profiles of the consumers who defaulted on the loans are examined to identify common traits they exhibited at the time they applied for the loan (such as number of open accounts; amount of outstanding balances; number and severity of late payments; type, number and age of accounts; recent inquiries, etc.) The designers then build statistical models that assign weights to each variable, and these variables are combined to create a credit score. In general, there are many factors that can affect an individuals credit score, such as payment history, current debt, available credit-to-debt ratio, etc. Credit scores are usually calculated based on the combination of all the credit factors in your credit report, and are not based solely on one single item or behavior. Your score *** go up, down, or remain constant depending on each factor as well as a unique combination of factors. Score calculations are based on information in your personal credit report and we cannot change the score; however, inaccurate information in your report can be corrected, which *** change your score. If you feel that your score does not accurately reflect your credit history, please review your personal credit report. If any information is inaccurate, you *** log on to www.experian.com/disputes to initiate a dispute. Any supporting documents *** also be uploaded securely at www.experian.com/upload For additional assistance, you *** call the toll-free telephone number provided on your personal credit report obtained directly from Experian, or write to Experian at P.O.
