Can't reset password except by mail! I saw an advertisement on TV that Experian can help manage monthly subscriptions. Went to website to check on it. When I put in my email it said welcome back. I forgot I had an account with them, so I don't remember password. Evidently had different phone number back then too. So site tells me to 1) call customer ********************** or ** mail request. Why even list phone number if you can't change your phone number or reset password by phone? I think they just enjoy enraging people.

I've been having an issue with my EXPERIAN FICO Score, not withTransunion or Equifax. Experian lowers my fico score by exactly 31 points every 2-3months for the past 2years for2-3 weeks then raise it back to my normal score. This Agency must be Regulated .Don't Use Or Trust Experian Fico Score. It doesn't make any sense for my Fico score to fluctuate by the same amount every 2-3 months when I don't do anything differently. My fico score does not fluctuate with the other agencies. When I contact them they claim that I'm late on paying my bills or blame the agencies that report to them. They also claim that they get their Fico score From a dfferent agency and they just report it. Someone is playing games , either Experian or the Agency they get their credit score from.I urge everyone to check their Experian Fico score.regularly.,not to trust them. These agencies are not regulated by any federal agencies, consequently you can't report them to anyone and they take advantage of it. Let's make sure they are regulated by the ****************** and they don't take advantage of the public!! The agency that reports my fico score to Experian is programed to automatically fluctuate my fico score by 31 points regularly. My credit report is excellent.

Thank you for writing and expressing your concern regarding your FICO with Experian. Our records indicate that you ordered a credit report along with a complimentary Experian CreditWorksSM Basic membership on December 7, 2019. The membership allows access to your Experian(R) credit report and FICO(R) Score once every 30 days, at no charge to you. Your FICO(R) Score is calculated based on the data in your credit report at the time you request your credit report and score. Every time you request a new score, a new credit report is pulled, and your new score is calculated based on the information in your credit report, up to once a day. Be aware, your credit report *** change often. Differences in your score *** be due to a change in balance on one or more of your credit cards, payment updates, or the addition of new accounts. Even the fact that your account(s) is one month older can affect your score. If there are inaccuracies on your credit report, these could also be affecting your score and should be disputed directly with the credit-reporting agency providing that information. In general, there are many factors that can affect an individuals credit score, such as payment history, current debt, available credit to debt ratio, etc. The actual scoring model and its calculations are proprietary to Fair ***** Corporation. Credit scores are usually calculated based on the combination of all the credit factors in your credit report. Your credit score is not based solely on one single item or behavior. So although you *** have done something that you think should have changed your score, the FICO(R) Score actually looks at how this information combines with other information in your credit report and how, if any, this changes your credit score. Your score *** go up, down, or remain constant depending on each factor as well as a unique combination of factors. The score analysis section that comes with your FICO(R) Score should help you understand what specific credit factors had a positive and negative affect on your FICO(R) Score.

Terrible company, never bothered to verify the information they were sent by a bank that sent the wrong social security number. They automatically uploaded that wrong number with my name and they didn't take responsibility for not verifying it. Now it will take 30 days and the use of snail mail to correct an error I never made because it it will take them 30 days to verify something that they should've done in the first place. Don't use them!!! Also outdated, with calls, fax, and email systems to receive and send information.

I've called 2 different numbers repeatedly to find out why there's a credit freeze on my account. The automated system actually says it cannot transfer me to a "specialist". Once I accidentally got through to a recording that said the call center was closed (in the middle of a work day)?? The system is useless and says you have to go online, but they have a phone number from many years ago that they want to text me on, that now belongs to someone else I am sure, and no alternative method to verify identity. In fact, when you click "prove it's me another way" guess what it tells you? to call the number that offers zero help!! What a bunch of idiots. But hey why should they care about causing people problems when they're making money off of our information? I wish them to be on the losing side of many lawsuits.

Thank you for expressing your concerns regarding the FICO(R) Score 8 included in your membership. We realize that you may have seen a discrepancy in the score you received from a lender related to your credit application and the score provided as part of your membership. We try to make it a point to inform our customers that various scoring models are available in the marketplace and have different potential uses. For instance, we include a disclosure on our site describing the score provided with the credit monitoring membership you purchased. Here, the score that is provided as part of your membership is the FICO(R) 8 model based on Experian(R) data. It is a score that many lenders use in the credit application decision-making process. FICO(R) Scores, ranging from 300 to 850, are developed by Fair ***** Corporation which specializes in developing credit-scoring systems for lenders and other businesses. This can help you see and understand how lenders may view your credit worthiness. It is used by many lenders and is indicative of your overall credit risk. Certain industries may use custom credit scores that are tailored to their specific needs. The custom scores may be unique to a specific industry, such as mortgage lending or auto lending. These custom scores may be created based on information found in credit reports together with other information from the lenders own portfolio, such as account history. We hope that this provides you some clarity as to the discrepancy between the two scores you received and the various scores available in the marketplace.

Atrocious. One of the worst ever I have had to deal with.1. Very careless in dealing with critical credit information - this is a danger to millions. Case in point - you will get emails with other people's credit reports living in other countries ! That alone should be enough to shutdown the company. In addition - 2. The customer ********************** representatives though polite are not knowledgeable - just hopeless.3. If you are put on hold - then than means your call is effectively over.4. The *** system is terrible - just does not work at all.Item 1 alone has to invite further scrutiny from the authorities - clearly they do not have the technology to secure your information. Not sure which govt agency oversees this kind of business, hopefully someone will look into it.
