Its ridiculous that they will not let you speak to a specialist or a representative. The other thing is they keep changing my credit score not for the good, for the bad when nothing delinquent has happened with your credit or profile. I think this needs to be looked into. If nothing delinquent has happened, then how can they raise your credit score one month and lower it the next.

Experian sends me an email with monthly report and gives me a login link. I try to log in but cannot even though I have double checked the password. Their change pass word does not work also - it tells me ot try back later. If you call the robot answering you says it has limited ability to transfer you to a person and gives you the choice to use it or hang up. The worst customer service imaginable! On ********* there are multiple data breaches on Experian and here on the BBB website Experian is rated 1.08 on a 5 scale. I don't know how people can trust Experian to give accurate information. My credit rating is above 800 and I don't need Experian. I have signed up due to free use of Experian due to data breaches. If you receive an invitation, I recommend you disregard Experian. Avoid the frustration!

After subscribing to this credit reporting service for myself and my husband for over 3 1/2 years; along with using the Boost I decided that paying over $25/per subscription for both of us was a bit much a month. When we started we were paying about $10/per subscription and over the years I can understand going up and all but this was a steep price.I canceled the payment for both and just went back to the regular free to track our credit score. At that time we were constantly between ******* for both, mind you the same 2 credit cards had been on our credit for the past couple of years also. The boost was just tracking our payment, which hadn't change for those things it tracks.I checked our scores about 2 weeks after and all of sudden we were *** to under 500, both at at like 479 prospectively. I waited another week and checked again I got a message that I couldn't have my score calculated and my husband was at 427 or some crazy number. But every time I logged on it wanted me to reconnect my credit card to pay for the subscription. Now correct me if I am thinking this is shady; as long as we were paying you a fee you kept our scores up even though we were making payments and working on building our payment, but as soon as I ***'t want to pay your fee; you drop our score? So I am comparing that I paid you like a credit card on time monthly for 3 1/2 yrs and because I paid you off and ***'t use anymore we are being penalized and you lower our scores. Bad business!!

Your FICO(R) Score is calculated based on the data in your credit report at the time you request your credit report and score. Every time you request a new score, a new credit report is pulled, and your new score is calculated based on the information in your credit report, up to once a day. Be aware, your credit report *** change often. Differences in your score *** be due to a change in balance on one or more of your credit cards, payment updates, or the addition of new accounts. Even the fact that your account(s) is one month older can affect your score. If there are inaccuracies on your credit report, these could also be affecting your score and should be disputed directly with the credit-reporting agency providing that information. In general, there are many factors that can affect an individuals credit score, such as payment history, current debt, available credit to debt ratio, etc. The actual scoring model and its calculations are proprietary to Fair ***** Corporation. Credit scores are usually calculated based on the combination of all the credit factors in your credit report. Your credit score is not based solely on one single item or behavior. So although you *** have done something that you think should have changed your score, the FICO(R) Score actually looks at how this information combines with other information in your credit report and how, if any, this changes your credit score. Your score *** go up, down, or remain constant depending on each factor as well as a unique combination of factors. The score analysis section that comes with your FICO(R) Score should help you understand what specific credit factors had a positive and negative affect on your FICO(R) Score.

When I submited a credit freeze they never sent me the pin and every single time I tried to call I could never get past the robot who couldn't help me get the **** When I finally used another number for my membership they told me they can't help me. I called four separate numbers and none of them ( robots that refused to transfer me to a person) could help me get the pin that they did not send me. Meaning that if I ever want to unfreeze my credit with Experian I have no way to since i do not have the pin. Since they never sent it. Completely unethical.

Thank you for writing and expressing your concern regarding your membership with Experian. Our records indicate that you ordered a credit report along with a trial Experian CreditWorksSM Premium membership on October 1, 2023. The membership was not cancelled; consequently, in accordance with the published terms of our offer, the credit card provided was charged our monthly membership fee on October 26, 2023. Per your request, your paid benefits ceased, effective October 26, 2023. You continue to have access to your Experian(R) credit report and FICO(R) Score once every 30 days, at no charge to you. Our website describes the offer and the order form details the terms and conditions of the offer, including billing at the end of the trial and monthly thereafter unless and until the customer notifies us of their wish to discontinue. The consumer agrees to these terms when submitting their order. We have, as a courtesy, issued a refund totaling $24.99 on November 21, 2023. Please allow 3 - 5 business days for these funds to process to the credit card account. At this time, we would like to express our regret that your experience with Experian CreditWorksSM may not have met your expectation or our standard of excellence.
