      When I first acquired my account the customer service was very good. I've had my things there for five years and signed my contract there was a 10 day grace ****** if your payment was late. Now it's 5 days and a ***** late fee. I've asked for my payment date to be changed they have refused so that they can continue to get extra money from which seems to be illegal to me. I will be moving my things from there as soon as possible. After they outsourced their business they became a totally different company they are *************** now and they don't care about their customers. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone not even my worst enemy. The only option I have left is contacting an attorney and I really hope my things have not been damaged.

      I had no problem with the movers, they worked well and efficient. When they realized how bad the communication from head office was to us, the movers went above and beyond. Plus they did a very good job packing. My issue is with sales, customer service and the white glove service. Overall selling of services and goods that in reality were not the product that was provided or offered. I called Clutter customer service everyday for 2 weeks leading up my appointment. I was told I would have 5 people, and 1 truck. This did not happen. I was told I would not have to pack anything, this is not true, instead there is a time limit that no one talked about of 6 hours! The movers expectation was I already had my 1 BR apartment packed.I was told the white glove service and concierge, would be available during my move day, they were unreachable and never returned my calls, not once. Plus - I could never be transferred to their department. I did not get a proper virtual walkthrough, no one called me, I kept trying call to them to confirm my walk through to get a proper estimate. We did not have them dismantle our TV because we found out thats a different hourly TV. I have to now file a claim because I was charged the incorrect hourly rate according to the movers. I have so many issues with how Clutter handles communication at the customer service level, I will never recommend this vendor. It cost me a blind $2200 to move 5 minutes away, 6 hours of packing and drop off to complete, and no additional location. And you must file a claim for billing issues as you get auto charged. No customer service rep on the phone is allowed to discuss or ************* a claim. Plus side note- they tied to charge me for half of service 2 weeks before my service date $750. This was also was not communicated, only the $80 deposit was discussed as the pre-charge 48 hours before your move date. This company needs to be strongly investigated. Anyone suing them, I would like to join your lawsuit.

      Clutter stored my furniture for years as a different company but then I tried to get it back...Day of delivery: Clutter's delivery team never rang the doorbell, and while driving away, hit me with a $200 fee, overdrawing my bank account.Overdrawing my account? My fault.Not ringing my doorbell? Critical failure.They sent me an agreement to "refund" me $100 "As a one-time courtesy..." in order to cover their operational shortcomings, but this isn't an acceptable operational practice. They are blocking me from setting another appointment, most of which I want to do so that I can stop doing business with them.

      Clutter, Inc is a household goods moving business that provides item storage within warehouses. For a fee, Clutter packs, wraps, and moves a customers belongings from one residence to another within one of our operative service areas.
      Mandanas scheduled a return for Feb 7, ****. When reserving an appointment customers must acknowledge that there is a $200 fee for rescheduling or canceling an appointment within 48 hours. Within 48 hours Clutter has dispatched manpower and staged the customers items for return; as such, cancellation or rescheduling within this timeframe incurs operational costs on Clutter as customer items must be restocked.
      Customers agree to electronic communication per Clutters Terms of Service as Clutters primary way of notifying customers that movers are on the way and have arrived is via SMS. On Feb 4th Clutter texted ******** a reminder of the appointment on the 7th. On Feb 7th Clutter texted Mandanas three notifications to inform him that the movers were on the way, a link to track the movers progress, and a notification that the movers arrived. 
      When on site the movers called twice, left a voicemail, and waited 25 minutes on site. Because the movers could not make contact with ********, the appointment was canceled. ******** filed a claim to dispute the cancellation fee on Feb 7, ****. Mandanas was offered a partial waiver of the cancellation fee on the same day within 3 hours of filing the claim. ******** disputed this result and on Feb 13, **** ******** was offered a full waiver of the cancellation fee. ******** accepted Clutters offer and has a final return scheduled for Feb 25, ****. Because ******** has accepted the resolution agreement, Clutter considers this issue resolved. Mandanas is welcome to reach out to Clutter directly for any additional concerns or issues.

      I stored some of my furniture with Clutter for years. I requested some of the items to be returned. Upon return, some of the furniture had been badly damaged and unusable, including a bed frame from West Elm. I filed a claim and they would only partial reimburse me for the damaged item saying it was minor damaged and the found a cheaper replacement from ************ website. The bed frame was completely warped and can't be put back together from the damaged. It didn't matter that part of their requires $25/month insurance fee. Beware of this company and stay from them if at all possible. Now I have to pay someone else to haul away the damaged furniture.

      I wish I had found this page when I was thinking about using them. They'll make it extremely easy and low cost to pick up your stuff. But when things seem too good to be true, they usually are! Clutter makes its money on you after they have all of your belongings. They charge you obscene prices to get them back, even if it's just you going to their warehouse. They might not let you get your stuff from the warehouse for a month, and won't offer a better time even in urgent circumstances such as moving across the country before the time offered. This would not be a big deal if they informed you ahead of time, but they set a precedent of being able to pick up items within a week, so you do not realize how far ahead you need to plan. They might not even be at the warehouse after you drive an hour out there to get your stuff. Good luck with customer service, which is reading from a script in another country.In summary, you will save money with Clutter up front, but overall you'll spend far more and have a much greater headache than if you did things the traditional way. Just hire a small mover and save yourself some misery.

      I utilize Clutter for storage since April, 2023. I had my monthly payments being deduct from my Chase debit card. Due to a family emergency I left the US to care for my mom. While overseas I received a call on November 2nd from ********** that my account has comprised, and they had to shutdown my card and issue a new one. Dealing with my family emergency, my focus was my mom. I know I was returning back to the US, because my Mom died on Nov 17th. Once I returned on 12/20, I email/texted back to say I returned, explained my situation, and let them know I am going to make a payment on Friday 12/22, to let me know what my payment would be including late fees. I received a response that my payment would be $239.00. Even though the arrangement was made on 12/20, I continued to receive emails and phone calls daily about my delinquent account. I checked and my balance was $239. If I said I am going to make a payment on Friday 12/23, why I am receive a phone call @ 6:54 PM about the delinquency of my account. There is 24-hours in a day, I had until 11:59 pm to make a payment. I signed in to make the payment and they added a $50.00 delinquency fee to my account. I pay the $239. They have my January **** payment should as delinquent with the $50 dollar fee. This is a horrible business practice, telling customer they need two pay their invoice by 5 PM or they will be charged extra.

      ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER! UNRELIABLE - BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. This company booked and confirmed a small move - weeks ahead of time. Moves are usually date specific, usually can't be rescheduled DAY OF! Clutter took a deposit, confirmed, and two hours into the "arrival window" on move day just called and canceled on me leaving me lost wages for the day off and a mad scramble to find a last minute mover for the next day. I do corporate moves as well (for entertainment companies/studios) - not being able to rely on our movers to show up when booked is a disaster. So anyone using this company for big or small moves/corp or personal - just be aware they could just be a no show. I feel a bigger move took priority over mine and I was just canceled.Once the issue happened, refunds were in order. The customer service that followed after was terrible. Long hold times on the phone, not responding to Groupon (I had purchased the discounted service via Groupon. I was promised calls back "in one hour" - and still have not received said call backs ---Groupon simply needed to verify the cancelation and they could not get anyone on the phone at Clutter to do that one simple thing. The customer service at this company leaves a lot to be desired - everyone should be aware before using that you could have an uphill battle if an issue does arise.So, I hope this review steers at least as much business away from Clutter that they gained from ditching my confirmed booking.       I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I had valuable vinyl records distributed across a few boxes and when I got my items back, someone had gone through the boxes and stolen all the vinyls. All my items were in ****** boxes but I got back a Clutter box instead. When I filed a complaint I was told Clutter can repack your boxes but they are not obligated to take any pictures so there is no proof.I packed the boxes with a friend but having a witness doesn't matter either.Customer service is completely unhelpful.If you do use them, then definitely take pictures of everything you store inside the boxes but I'm sure they will have some way to get out of being responsible for any theft.

      I am thoroughly disappointed with Clutter's service. Not only did they fail to deliver my two night tables, but I also spent an extensive amount of time searching through all of my items to confirm their absence. When I finally reached out to their representative for assistance, I was met with a dismissive response, claiming that the items were scanned and therefore there was nothing they could do. This lack of responsibility and customer care is unacceptable. I trusted ********************** with my belongings, and they let me down. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

      Clutter is a marketing scam. While they appear to be "professional" and have celebrity endorsements, it's all smoke and mirrors. I initially hired Clutter to move my items into a storage unit for 4 months, then I moved across state lines and needed Clutter to MOVE my items from storage to my new home ($4400 for the move). When my items were delivered to my new home, my largest and most valuable asset (my couch) was partially missing. This was a $4700 sectional, and somehow Clutter LOST HALF OF THE ****** Clutter packed the couch and imaged it into the system upon the initial move, so I have no idea how half a couch just goes missing. The half of the couch that I do have, now has no resale value, and is of no use to me as viable furniture. As I began trying resolve this with Clutter, their customer service was of little to no help. I could never get a straight answer or a status update and had to wait DAYS to hear anything back. Furthermore, it's extremely difficult to locate a phone number to call, you have to jump through a series of screens to find the number. Furthermore, everyone I spoke with was outsourced to ***** - never did I speak on the phone with a US representative about the matter. After filing a "claim" for the LOST COUCH, Clutter said they were unable to locate it in their storage facility and would reimburse me $1000. However, after sending a screenshot of their policy, which says they ask the customer to declare the value of each item and will reimburse in full (Clutter never asked me to do this), their **************** team said they would reimburse me $1600. Again this is NOTHING close to the $4600 I spent on the couch (which also has no resale value now) + $4400 long distance moving fee. Clutter is a terrible service, with awful customer service, and no common decency for customers. I do not recommend Clutter, and plan to file suit, unless Clutter reimburses me the full value of my missing couch.
