      Subject: *********************** Appointments and ***************** Outage Complaint:I am filing this complaint due to unacceptable customer service and unresolved technical issues with DIRECTV. We have not had a working TV signal for over a week, and despite multiple calls to customer service and scheduled repair visits, the issue remains unresolved.What makes this situation especially frustrating is that DIRECTVs service team has missed three scheduled appointments in a row. We were given confirmed time windows for each visit, rearranged our schedules to be available, and yet no technician showed upwithout any courtesy call, explanation, or follow-up. Each time, we were told the issue would be escalated, but no action has been taken.We are paying for a service that we are not receiving, and the repeated no-shows reflect an unacceptable level of disregard for the customers time and loyalty. We are also concerned about the lack of transparency and accountability in their customer service operations.Resolution requested:Immediate service restoration or a confirmed service call with a competent ***************** or refund for the period without service.A formal apology for the repeated missed appointments and poor communication.We hope this complaint prompts DIRECTV to take responsibility and deliver the level of service their customers deserve.I have wanted to cancel this service for years as streaming offers more for the price but my spouse likes this service for whatever reason even with the horrid service.

      DO NOT GET DIRECT TV When you have a problem it takes 5 to 6 days to send someone out. It goes out when a sudden rain- heavy rain- heavy snow. Cable Co send someone out with in 24 hours. When they send the bill it takes 10 to get to me but give you 5 days to pay. So save money and headache DON'T BOTHER.

      I called on 4/29 to cancel services. I was told my disconnect date would be 5/22 and was provided the instructions to return my items. Yesterday, 5/15, I was charged another monthly premium. I called and was told today by the *** that per policy, they dont cut off services in the middle of the service period. My service period was 4/23-5/23. So, because I called 6 days after the service period began, I was forced to pay a full monthly premium I asked again why they didnt just cut off the services when I called to cancel and charge me for the 6 days I had used. She said again, per policy they dont cut services off in the middle of a period. When I called in on 4/29, the *** never told me I would be charged another monthly premium.

      Had the service for years, constant increase in fees and decrease in content available without extra charges. Finally quit the service, only to find out much later that one of the services signed us up for 12 months and 4 were left when we returned all the equipment so they charge an additional $20/month we werent aware of until a collections agency told us Directv had sent us to them at the end of the 4 months

      So much for being a loyal customer. I have read all these reveiws and it's as if I already submitted mine. I can't believe they can legally charge you for in advance services that you no longer wish to have or can afford. I called to cancel April 21, 2025. They said that my cancellation will be the end of their billing cycle because the bill was all ready sent out. Who does this! apparently they do and get away with it. Prior to my decision of cancelling, the error code kept popping up that it's searching for a satellite. I called to report the issue and they said they can send out a tech at a cost of $99 or as a loyal customer $9.99 monthly. I said but this is your equipment and they said it was MINE! We paid for it but yet they bill us for any additional boxes in the house. I did become outraged because I know they are trying to lock us into another year of their crappy channels and poor satellite services. I will tell everyone and anyone that will listen what a rip off this company is and with hopes in the future along with all our reviews, people will wake up and cancel their high bills & make the change and the company will go down the tubes. I'm just sorry I waited this long to make the change. I could have been watching FREE TV for years! and love it! Thumbs DOWN. Buyer Beware and Stop Feeding the PIG. DRS *********, **... I hate I had to leave a star. They don't deserve one.

      Got Directv because we could get the football package. When they lost the rights to it, I called to cancel as I was going to go to *********. Directv suggested they put a hold on my account in case I wanted to come back. The hold never happened and the monthly charge kept coming. Trying to get anything resolved with their customer service center is impossible and none of them speak clear english. I was on the phone for over an hour today, transferred multiple times, am waiting for a call back from a supervisor that I am sure won't happen. I would leave ten minus stars if I could and will never to business with them again.

      Terrible customer service, multiple calls on multiple days, transfered multiple times, hung up on, contradicting information, postponed service call scheduled for today with no notification, moved it out SIX days, this has been going on since 4/28/25, still not resolved. Does not have a clue how to provide service to 'snowbirds'. I am at the end of my rope to even know how to deal with this. Everything sends me in circles, I have to give total explanation to EACH new person, and none are providing any satisfactory result.

      If I could leave less stars I would. After 23 years of service and many increases in charges until you call and then suddenly they have a special that can bring price back down, many outages every time there is a storm and no rebate for lost service, and loss of channel *** for several months while in negotiations without rebate have decided to change to another service. When called to cancel was only 4 days into billing cycle and was told that they do not prorate their services. I have never heard of such nonsense. All companies will prorate and especially for just 4 days. Do not get this service. The supervisor was of no help at all and kept speaking over me. Run away from this company.

      Run away do not bother to get their services. I had DirecTv and due to family not utilizing the services and just using streaming services. We canceled on December 2nd and was told that was ok it would be prorated. Fast forward to February, we were told we owed money on the equipment which was returned. Called in they found that we returned it and was told that figure would be taken off. My wife then called back to ask how much do we owe because we cannot log in due to no longer being in contract with them and was told to ignore any emails because we owed *********** another email, saying we owed, was then told by another *** to ignore said email, we owed NOTHING. March I got an email stating that the account will go to collections for money owed. Called and was told to ignore that email because they checked and we owed nothing.April I got another email and I called again to verify and now was told. Oh you owe for early termination fees, late fees and for December, which we never used. Each *** and "supervisor" that I have spoken seem to think I should have checked my bill and that it was my fault. Please tell me DirecTv, how can a customer who sees their bill on the app, that no longer has access to said app, know how much they owe? This is why we called in the first time in January to ask, how much do we owe because we cannot see the bill. Told on 3 different occasions that we owe nothing. But no I'm being called from DirecTv about collections?They are predatory, we wanted to pay the bill from January and will pay the bill now. But to think we are being punished because of THEIR ***resentatives is outrageous

      I have been a Direct TV customer for years. I am selling my home.I called Direct TV back in September 2024 and asked them what I need to do to cancel service. They told me what date for the end of the mouths billing cycle. And that I did not need to return anything. I told them I would call when i was ready to cancel. They disconnected the service before I called. I reach out to them about this, and they said, sorry they would reconnect it. Then I was told the only way to do this was to put it in as new contract which I was not in a contract. They told me that I would not be charged for canceling the service when I was ready. They gave me a gift card for all trouble I went through. NOW five months later after canceling they are sending and calling me about breaking the contract. WHY? Being told they have no documentation of any of this. And there is no one to talk to about it. We cannot control what they write down on the other end of a phone *******, what to do next? Will not pay for something I do not owe!
