      My DirecTV satellite began malfunction. I called DrecTV to schedule a at-home repair. I have there "insurance/repair" contract that I pay for. They were supposed to arrived between 8 am and noon. I took the first half of the day off from work. DirecTV then stated they cannot arrived in the morning, but would arrive in the afternoon. I then took the rest of the day off. They called back late in the day stating they could not come at all that day. I rescheduled about a week later. The exact same thing happened. I took the morning off from work as they were supposed to arrived 8 am to noon. Then they called and stated they were very busy and would arrived in the afternoon. They never showed. I then reschedule again for another day. I live in northern *********. They stated they would arrived in the afternoon between noon at 5:00 pm. They never showed. I then rescheduled for today 12/17/2022. They were once again supposed to arrived between 8 am and noon. A supervisor called me at 10:30 am and stated they will DEFINITELY be at my residence before noon. 20 minuets later, a mechanical voice called me stating they serve technician was way behind and would arrived sometime today. In my opinion, DirecTV is a very poor, inefficient and incompetent company. I would not recommend them to anybody. I am going to switch to my local provider ASAP.

      I have been a ******** for 5 years now and I am paying more than twice as much as newer customers. I am never offered discounts and we can't get any tv providers in our rural area

      I've been a ******** of Direct tv since 2007 and have never had a problem until my most recent 24 month discounts just expired.

      I have even written articles for AARP magazine (where my family member is editor), praising Direct tv and the services they provide, especially since streaming has become so popular.

      I am a senior citizen (in my 70s), now living on a fixed income. Direct tv has always given me discount credits for HD and DVR services since 2007. I have given me enough discounts to cover the 2 to 3 times per year pricing increases of my low end package.

      It is so frustrating that while my monthly bill has never exceeded $60, now it has gone up to 87 per month and the company was only offering me a $20 discount. There is also some five dollar discount that I was told is expiring March 2023.

      The only thing I requested after being a loyal ******** for 15 years, paying my bill on time every single month and using my social media platform to complement Direct tv and encourage others to sign up with this company.

      At the end of my phone call with supervisor, the only thing she was willing to do was offer me a one time $15 discount off my next bill. as a senior citizen on a fixed income who has been loyal to this company for over 15 years, I would think they would want to be gracious and generous with their top one percent loyal customers. Very disappointed that my relationship with Direct tv will end after January. Sincerely, ********* *****

      Complaint on behalf of my mother, ***. This is regarding DirecTV Stream. My mother's bank account has been debited $139.13 monthly from March 2022 to November 2022 (twice in April). I have record of these charges.

      She called the vendor ******** ******* number around 12/1/22 and a female representative (who said she was in ********) WAS able to see the charge and said a manager would contact her back by phone to further discuss resolution. No one called her back. We visited an ATT Store in ********* ** on 12/3/22, and a rep was NOT able to find the listed charge on her account.

      On the same day she called the same 800 number and gave permission for me to speak with a male rep (who was in *****) and he was also unable to find the listed charge. Currently, she is supposed to be charged $89.99 monthly (Choice package).

      We are just puzzled as to why no one at DirecTV Stream is not able to locate this charge.

      Today, 12/8/22 I called the same number to obtain a corporate address and/or specific email for DirecTV Stream to send a complaint to as well, but none could be provided. I actually Googled information and found ********** ** address.

      We switched to Direct TV in March because they offered more programs that we were interested in watching. although it was more expensive. We were satisfied with their ******* until late September/Early October when we could no longer watch the local (****, **.) affiliate of the *** network. Direct TV put the blame on the affiliate. My position is simple: I don't pay the local affiliate, I PAY DIRECT TV. We were unable to watch the ************* ******* Football as well as local news, weather etc. Direct TV (a man named ****) connected ** with a Spanish Fox affiliate, so we could watch the World Series. The broadcasters spoke Spanish! Not Good! The original "agreement" said that they would provide all the channels for a contract period of two years. After numerous phone calls to Direct TV with no resolution in sight, we decided to discontinue Direct TV. They were quick to remind ******* $20.00 per month early termination fee. To which I responded(several times) that I considered the fact that we no longer were able to watch all of the programming that they originally agreed to provide; that they, in fact broke the agreement first. We always paid their fees on time because we were se up on their "autopay" direct withdrawal program. They are asking for $340.00 (+ tax) early termination fee. And the y refuse to negotiate. I feel that they certainly has a good deal of responsibility in this dispute.

      I reached out the week of November 7th to cancel my DirecTV *******, set to cancel on November 12th. I logged in on November 13th and nothing was online. However, I got a notification from my credit card company on November 14th that I had a DirecTV charge and then logged into my account to see that my account is actually active. I called in to cancel the ******* and request a refund. The representative said they had no notes of me cancelling my services. However, I said I have a screenshot of the chat. Suspiciously, the representative said they have no way of escalating the issue to refer back and investigate the actual chat I had. This seems very inaccurate, because I'm sure if it was to DirecTV's benefit they would 100% find a way to search the chat function.

      I want a refund for my monthly payment because I cancelled the week of November 7th, received confirmation that the ******* would be cancelled, and I took a screenshot of the chat saying this was the case.

      Direct tv is a scam I canceled them first of October 2013 and they emailed me November ** XXXX stating I had an outstanding balance of $549 and that they would be ending my *******. I sent back all equipment per their instructions in october. yet they are saying my husband and I now owe $567.58. Now I'm being told 9 years later I can't add a line on my **** because of this fraudulent bill

      This is the e-mail I received from Direct TV Stream- On 10/31//2022 we replaced your defective DIRECT TV STREAM device under warranty and asked that you return your old device within 30 days or be charged a non-return fee of $120.00. We have not received your device to date (Today is November 2, 2022). As a result, we have charged $131.40 to the payment method on your account. I contacted ********************** ******** ******* about this error. I have not received the replacement device it's only been 2 days, so why have you debited my account? Representative had to get Supervior's approval for a refund. This is the ****** in giving these business access to your account, I will not renew this *******. I have to wait an additional 5 days or more before my account is credited due to Direct TV's error. After reading all the reviews posted here there in no accountability on the part of DIRECT TV STREAM's company with the electronically generated responds to customers complaint of this business.

      Two problems with **** DirecTV disconnected August 21st 2022. At that time we had a negative $21.01 balance. We were told an **** refund vendor would be sending a Debit card with in 4 weeks. We received a billing statement 10/19/22 showing a negative $14.67 balance. Today, 10/27/22, We received a Debit card for $14.67. Calling ******** ******* was a waste of time. Apparently we were charged a ******* charge while the refund was being processed. They had no answer.
      The big problem is when I went up on the roof to remove the DirecTV dish I noticed roof damage. Apparently the installer changed the mounting bracket from one location to another location, a few inches away. He missed the roof rafters on the first try and just caulked the first try screws. Over time these screws leaked and rain water got to the sheathing under the shingles.
      Otherwise we had fairly good ******* with DirecTV over the years, but now we are streaming TV over light fiber.

      After cancelling last spring,they keep calling too much ,***********, i left there ******* because they charge too much and always want to raises prices etc for less channels, a pair of rabbit ears works well now for me adios lol
