      I leave Zero stars- ****/direct TV is a fraud. They called my husband and offered cheaper rate which is a lie. I tried to change it back to Dish network within 30 days. and was told we couldnt because hes in a contract. **** had my husband sign a contact in English when he speaks only Spanish. They tried to charge $300.00 to when we moved in October 2024. They then told us we would be charged $352.00 for disconnection fee that day. The contract was in English and not in Spanish and we told the company on several occasions. We were told we would be refunded for November 2024 and still charged our checking account for $150.00 plus $352.00 without our authorization and the account was already closed. Companys should not call and fraudulently ask people to change TVs into a contract promising cheaper rates when its not true.

      I was contacted by a Direct TV General Manager out of ************< he had told me that Diah Network and Direct TV were going to merger, I had told him that I was upset at ******* because they had dropped sports packages that I once had and hadn"t reduced there bill, he said that Direct TV had those packages at a locked in rate for two years, he also said they would contact Dish and cancel my service as they were buying Dish out, which I thought they were able to do as they have all there accounts if they bought them, well they didn"t cancel my ************ and I have two bills for Dish and Direct TV, called Dish to cancel, they said that DIrect TV does this to mislead people to get them to sign for their sevice, so I am going to get Legal advice about this deception, evidently I am not the only person they have scammed with this procedure, just want others to beware of this scam!! Mad in *******

      In attempting to obtain a paper copy of the TV Stations, with 6 telephone calls I was unable to get one. All of the calls were answered by out of USA *********** all of them I do not have a printer so they could not help by sending me an E-mail. Was told it would be sent with the monthly bill. About 30 minutes later I received a call telling me they could not send me a paper copy of the TV stations. Extremely poor customer service when dealing with off shore representatives.

      No stars. We were hit by hurricane ****** power went out 09-27-2024 and was out for 11 days and they will not credit account. We had no home phone service or cellular service to call so they would not go back to that date they will only go back to the date that I called. Which is not fair because there was no phone service of any kind.

      I cut the cord with DirecTV in July 2024 and returned their outdated equipment. I receive an email statement every month stating DirecTV owes me money. Called customer service several times and still no refund.

      I called to order a ************************* I was never asked if I had a smart TV. They tried to install it and failed. i subsequently learned that these boxes are for people with old TVs or someone who does not have a smart TV. They left the equipment with me (They were not supposed to leave the equipment) I have been trying to return the equipment for 3 weeks and cannot get them to send me a box and a label for the return. They claim that they are not going to charge me for the equipment. I am still waiting on my return box. This is not my only issue with this company but their terrible service is growing by days.

      I went to **** to change my service from Spectrum to what I thought wa ****. I was passed around to numberous people and never did fully understand any of this. I am 84 and was ill at the time and still am. I have chronic heart failure and told these people at the time I could not keep coming there and running out and back to Spectrum for what I thought they would take care of. I had no idea it would be Direct TV. Had no idea I would be responsible for setting everything up. My biggest complaint is that Direct TV immediately took almost $100 from my checking account when the sales people had told me everything would be due on the 15th. I had to go to my bank and change my debit card and my checking account. This caused me to have to change information for some drafts that I will allow. I do not trust **** and especially do not trust Direct TV. I have changed my TV back to Spectrum and want to change the rest of my service as soon as I can have a day when I am well enough. Meanwhile **** has sent a notice that I will have my service removed. So far not. I have paid them by check the amount sent that they say is past due. I think sales just sees an opportunity to take advantage of someone. I would like my almost $100 back. I have a lot of medical bills to pay and some of them probably came from the stress of this mess.

      I received a flyer from direct tv quoting a promotion for new users. I switched to direct tv and after receiving my first bill, i immediately called to see why the bill was inflated from their quoted price. They told me the price was without taxes even though I boldly said I want what I will be paying with taxes. I then asked about the gift card which I was promised in the letter and was told that was a scam their 3rd party vendors use to get people to sign up. They knew about this tactic and still allow it to happen. I was told I would not be receiving any promotional deals nor would they help out on the amount since I was quoted wrong. When I told them they represent you as an employee since you hire them to get business for you and they said well yes be we are not responsible for their tactics. They represent you and I gave my financial information to them and they said I should be fine because they actually did create an account through **********************. This is wrong and I feel direct tv should fulfill the promotions since they were represented by direct tv as a contractor employee. To know the contractors are using scams as he said and still continue to allow it to go on is a deception of the consumer.

      I was sold Direct TV by Prime Time Sports in **; by ****. I have 2 *************** signed me up, convincing me that I would have all the baseball ************** with no extra charges. It was going to be $194.99 a month & $15 for each receiver. That is my agreement. However, 3 months ago when Direct TV was negotiating with ***, I started receiving bills showing I had taken out the *** Sunday Package. I notified Direct TV as soon as I received my bill. I have been calling them every month since (3 months). I kept getting told they were looking into it, they said someone by the name of ****** requested the service. I have no one by that name working for me at either place. Today, I come in to find my service is shut off. Direct TV has no office open to speak with anyone. In order to open my place of business & have TV Service I was forced to partially pay the bill. I have left message for Prime Time ************** I will be contacting Direct TV again Monday. I need legal representation to go after ****************************** Time for fraudulent charges & stress for service I never approved. My establishments don't seat more than 35 & 45 people, I would have never approved $2,000 or $3,000 for a sport package. I don't even make that kind of money to pay for a service with that price tag. One of my bars was charged $10,000, we seat 35 people tops. The business is only ***** sq ft! They did reduce the $10,000 to $3,000; however I NEVER approved it to start with! **** from Primetime Sport is a ******************************** does nothing to resolve it even after countless calls to say turn it off, I did NOT order it.
