I ordered a Scale, Thermal Printer and Two rolls of Shipping labels. I took the printer out of the package and plugged it in to make sure it worked. it seemed to be fine. I then put it back in it's package and didn't touch it for weeks. I retrieved it one morning to use it, but i needed to set it on the floor, so i put batteries in it and it refused to work immediately, so i took them out and plugged it in, but nope. I had, already had such a bad experience with this company, that this was the last straw and i decided to send everything back and wash my hands of them. I had to have a customer service person walk me through the bizarre 1980's style return process. I had to print out a return slip for each item, then, I was supposed to fill each one out. I have no idea where i am supposed to get half the information they need on there, then, i was told, if they excepted my return, it would be 8 to 10 weeks for them to send me a paper check. then i found out, that if any of the items had been opened, or didn't work upon receiving them back, too bad for me. How is anyone supposed to know if their items work, if they don't open the package and plug them in? I haven't sent the items back after finding this out, because if i do, then they have my money AND the items. so they've robbed me twice. I don't want these items. this is a terrible company. i just want my money back, not in 10 weeks or never, and never deal with this company again.

My wife started a free trial for 30 days. She forgot to cancel, and we were charged for the subscription. After canceling their subscription over the phone we have still been charged recurring fees on our credit card. I reached out to the company through email and they promised to help but they did not. I had to call the credit card company every month to dispute the charges.

Friday it was returned "refused" from stamps. com.So, I have a bunch of postage I am out as well as a "new" printer that they can't make work.

I removed myself from junk/promotional email lists years ago for both my name and a business I used to operate. Stamps.com is getting around the filter by eliminating letters in my business name. It was "Lularoe *******************************." Now they are sending letters to "Lulr Emly Prrnhg." I want to be removed from ALL junk mail listings. I have been out of this business for over 5 years. This is noncompliant with the DO NOT MAIL lists I signed up for.

I signed up and used this service once to buy stamps, I spent about $10 and found it very helpful. However, I did not know that I was opting in to some kind of subscription service. I received NOTHING from this subscription service, I did not use it and wasn't even aware I had it. It took two months of charges ($39.98) until I noticed and I believe I should get a refund considering the fact that I received absolutely nothing from this service and did not use it at all. I want to cancel my account but there is a warning saying I will "permanently lose [my] account history" which is frustrating because I don't want to lose the proof that I was unfairly charged. Please, I need a refund and I need to cancel from this website, If I had received $39.98 worth of stamps or something I would not want a refund, but I spent an extra $39.98 and got ZERO services or stamp. I am very happy to pay the $10 for the stamps and service I used, but the extra $39.98 is not okay. This really feels manipulative and I should not get charged if I did not receive anything. Thank you

Stamps.com is a scam! I just noticed that they have been charging me $20 a month for services I never agreed to. They have apparently been spamming my account with new charges every month. I never agreed to monthly subscription from them. When I logged onto my account today it shows a $5 credit on my account, and there is no mention of this "Pro Plan" they are charging me for. This means they are intentionally charging my account in a hidden manner just to rack up unpaid charges on my account. Buyer beware! Do not do any business through Stamps.com!

In 2022 I signed up with Stamps.com for a free trial. To my knowledge, I went and cancelled that trial before the date it ended. I went to their site and it said I had no active subscriptions. I assumed the trial had ended and thought nothing more of it.Just a few days ago I got an email (for the first time) stating that my form of payment had failed. I didn't even know I still had an account with them!I called them and they said I do (or did - I closed it while on the phone with them!) have an account and it has been charged $20 a month since I opened it in 2022.I have NEVER used their service. I told them to check their records. I never logged in again. Never used it.They said if I was willing to bring my account up to paid in full, they would consider a refund for the last two years.I refused to give them any more money, or a form of payment. They said that they could not help me if I wasn't willing to pay off my debt to them, but that they would close my account, which they did.I never received an email or physical mail receipt of any kind and I haven't ever used their service during the time I was apparently paying for it without my knowledge.

Buyer Beware! I recently discovered that Stamps.com had been billing me a monthly "service charge" for a subscription which began upon signing up for a trial offer back in 2000. In all this time from then till now, I never once received an email from Stamps.com that this subscription was recurring every month. When I looked on my stamp.com account, I could not find any billing records for a subscription, but did find I was signed up for a subscription that charges me $21.66 per month. I called Stamps.com to ask for records, and to ask for a refund. I was provided with the attached email stating that since July 25, 2020 I was apparently charged $819.70 in monthly subscription service fees - for a subscription service which I did not even realize I was signed up for. Stamps.com canceled my subscription and account, and then stated they would look into refunding me. A few days later I received an email stating they appreciated my "concerns about fraud," but that they recommended I contact my credit card. When I contacted my credit card ****************** they stated they could not dispute the charges because I had signed up for a subscription. So, according to stamps.com, I am out a total of $819.70. Going back to June 2020, I could only find an email confirming my trial - with "fine print" at the end stating "The Stamps.com monthly service fee is just $17.99 plus applicable tax, if any, including the first month." But I never received any emails after that which notify me of the monthly service fee / subscription being charged. Believe it or not, I never delete emails - I can see all my emails going all the way back to 2010 - and not once from then till now once did I find an email notifying me I was being charged for their monthly subcription. And on top of that, I searched everywhere on their website for records of my subscription charges, which I could not find. There was only a page stating I was signed up for a subscription, which I had not been aware of.

    Complaint: 21278277

I am rejecting the proposed refund of $250.00 because: the total amount that Stamps.com states it charged my credit card on a monthly basis for almost four years - without so much as an email to notify me - was $819.70. To be refunded only 30% of this total simply compounds the unfair nature of what a reasonable consumer would considered as deceptive business practices. Recently, the ************** Attorney General took up the case of SiriusXM's business practices involving monthly subscriptions, which makes me believe that it would find Stamps.com's subscription practices equally worthy of examination or action - especially when Stamps.com would not provide a consumer such as myself with full relief in the form of a full refund. In the least, I should think that Stamps.com would consider changing its practices by simply notifying its customers of its recurring service fees via monthly emails. I think Stamps.com could do better for consumers such as myself, and hope they will re-consider refunding me the total fees which have left this consumer feeling fleeced.

    Sincerely,

Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your perspective, ***********.  We do consider the fees charged to be valid and appropriate.  However, we have issued an additional refund of $569.70 today to the credit card on file as a courtesy.  Please allow 3-5 business days for processing.  Customer satisfaction is very important to us.  We do not charge customers without their consent and authorization and were happy to answer your questions about our terms and conditions.  The monthly service fee is a flat rate fee that provides access to your account. The fee is not based on usage or activity.  Your service fee is a flat fee that is not determined by how much postage you print. You can print as much as you want for the same flat rate.

To best serve our customers, we provide the terms for Stamps.com accounts during the registration process. Stamps.com accounts cannot be created without customers indicating that theyve read the terms and conditions: ******************************************** During registration for a Stamps.com account, we explain that your credit card will not be charged unless you continue past the four-week trial or buy additional postage and Online Store products.  In addition, immediately after sign-up, new customers are sent a Welcome Email with the same terms outlined, along with information about the monthly flat rate fee if you choose to continue past the trial month.  If we can assist further with your concerns, please let us know.
