    I have used Stamps.com for around ten years, and it has usually been excellent. It save me trips to the post office, if I am out of postage I can buy more day or night, I can use my scale to compute the postage, and I get a small discount on postage. Lately, however, there have been some glitches in the software. I could not install the latest update, and I had to call the company for help. The first tech I spoke to had to send me to an higher level of tech who found some known problems in what I had downloaded and one or two that were not known. In addition, often times I will have an address for an apartment building. The software shifts to a screen for me to pick out the apartment number, which I often don't have. The program then will not let me select the address without the apartment number, so I have to guess and hope that the mail carrier will figure it out at the building (which often does not happen). I also cannot copy an address from another program, such as my word processor into Stamps.com. That can be a nuisance, since I could do that long ago. Stamps.com's customer service usually is very good, and they are very helpful.

    Stamps.com is a great service for anyone who is on a very tight schedule which doesn't always conform to the time that the USPS offices are open. Stamps.com allows the flexibility of getting your packages or letters prepared for shipping or mailing any time of the day or night.

    As an Office Manager for a law firm in Washington DC I can only give superior ratings for Stamps.com. I remember going to the post office with a heavy meter; waiting in line and carrying the meter back to the office. Now I automatically restore my balance online and no rushing to the post office. The Stamps.com representatives are all professional and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is working well for the customer. I am also able to gather information about my postage printouts for billing purposes. There is so much I can say that is positive that I wish Stamps.com would be the role model for the other vendors I deal with...they have a lot to learn from Stamps.com on how to treat customers, be professional and know that I pay to have service not to be frustrated and harassed. I hope that Stamps.com is in business for 120 years or at least until I retire!

    I opened a business account for a trial period on September 14, 2021. I cancelled and closed the account that same day and received a cancellation email confirming this. Here it is July of 2022 and I am looking through our companies credit card statement to see a charge for $2,000 to Stamps.com. We do not use Stamps.com as a company and have not purchased anything from them in almost a year. Also, the trial period was not charged as we did not complete it. So how is there a charge for $2,000 at this point in time? I am disputing this charge with our credit card company but am baffled by how this happened in the first place. Buyer beware!
