      Activation process was quite seamless !I did not know what to expect, but Life Alert personnel at all confirmation points were cordial, professional and patient. For peace-of-mind, this was a great alternative. My wife will not feel alone, while I take care our day-to-day ! Thanks

      My review would be 4 or 5 stars and I not been first sent over to a very rude and pushy sales person (***** was his first name) who tried to use scare tactics. Fortunately I am a well-educated and savvy shopper and make sound decisions based on factual information, NOT scare tactics. I cant imagine how many elderly people are tricked into the purchase based on the scare tactics and not understanding the very restrictive contract and cannot afford it. There are other services that are very good. I chose Life Alert bc of the battery life. I called back and made sure I wasnt sent to ***** (he also sent me a text message that I saved telling me not to be cheap! I spoke with ***** and she was very helpful. I believe their corporate requires a hard sales pitch, but I was able to cut her off and explain what I already knew. And to not give any examples involving people who wished theyd gotten one sooner. Its a big financial decision and needs to be made thoughtfully. Especially for elders with limited income. There are other options, one of which we tried. The only reason we ditched is bc you dont need to charge the battery. It lasts 7-10 years. My mom was not charging her battery and she can afford the long-term expensive monthly contract. So we switched.

Unfortunately, it appears one of our agents fell short in doing so, moreover, there is no need for a representative to be pushy as our lifesaving service and reputation speaks for itself.  However, we are happy to hear that another agent was able to be helpful.
