Please note that i filed a complaint earlier today about surveyjunkie.com and their lack of redeeming points. To summarize, i requested a redemption earlier this week for points i had earned and received a message that they needed a call verification. i entered a queue but have never received a call back during past three days. i have also sent them repeated emails. No one has responded and i have over $50 in available credits that i would like redeemed - i would appreciate survey junkie to respond.

please note that i inadvertently used wrong email address . my original case number was **************************************. this email contains the correct email address which survey junkie should have on record. i would appreciate someone from their company contacting me so that i can redeem points.

We require a W9 form from our members when they approach $600 in a calendar year. We are required by the IRS to report members that reach this amount of earning on our site, it is not an arbitrary rule determined by us. That being said, once member provides the required W9 form, they will subsequently been able to continue taking surveys and redeeming their points.

My problem is with survey junkie website, which provides gift card incentives in exchange for survey participation. i have been doing surveys since May 2021 and never had a problem until earlier this week. i went to cash out points that i had earned, and received a message that they needed a call verification from me. i entered a call queue and it said someone would would contact me by end of day. No one ever did. i have sent multiple emails during past 3 days to their customer service site and no one has responded. I have > $50 in unredeemed gift cards, which may not seem like a lot but i am on a tight budget and every little bit helps, especially since i have earned the rewards and survey junkie is not responding to my redemption requests

I attempted to redeem $10 dollars on 9/5/2020. I received the "Your Survey Junkie Verification Code" email immediately. But when I attempted to redeem for an Amazon gift card, I got the message about the requirement for completing the W-9 form for people earning over $600 in a calendar year. My records indicate that I've earned $550 so far this 2022 calendar year. So redeeming the $10 would put that amount at $560. I'm still under the $600 amount.

I attempted the "Enter Call Queue" option on 9/5/2022 but never received a call. That day was a holiday, but there wasn't any statement stating their offices would be closed on 9/5/2022.

I fully understand that the IRS is driving they W-9 requirement. However, I'm extremely hesitant in completing a W-9 with my social security number and sending the form to Survey Junkie. We live in an age where hackers are easily hacking into companies computer systems and stealing personal data. With all due respect, I don't know how secure Survey Junkie's computer system is for preventing hackers from stealing our personal data.

I would like to redeem that $10 now. Then I will continue to complete surveys for the remaining of the 2022 calendar years but won't redeem any points. Then I would like to redeem those points starting in January 2023 for the start of a new calendar year. I want to do it that way so I won't have to complete a W-9 form.

By the way, I consistently report my survey earnings to my accountant when doing my yearly taxes. I keep a spreadsheet updated, so I include that amount when doing my taxes.

I want Survey Junkie to respond to this complaint by stating that I can redeem the rest of my 2022 points starting in January 2023 to avoid submitting a W-9 form. Again, I always report all my survey earnings to the IRS every year.

I wanted to submit this complaint, so it provided other members (or potential members) with his information.

    Thank you.

We are required by the IRS to report members that reach this amount of earning on our site, it is not an arbitrary rule determined by us. That being said, if the member wants to redeem more than $600 in a calendar year, they will need to fill out the W9 form before being able to redeem. If they do not want to fill the form, they can wait to redeem their points in the next calendar year.

I've been handling this offline with Survey Junkie and I am satisfied with their response. This can be closed.

SurveyJunkie has been in contact via email with this concern. I'm satisfied.

But, I would like to recommend that SurveyJunkie add a statement to their FAQ about taxes to state that if a member chooses not to complete a W-9 form, that they can redeem points earned at that point in time during the next calendar year. That's good information for members.

I gave images of my drivers license for verification so I could cash out my earnings. I wasn't able to cash out the 1599 points for a $15.99 check because they won't allow me to do so.

n order to improve the security of Survey Junkie and its members, we are introducing a new process of verification which is Photo ID verification, which will be a one time verification tool for our panelists. As a quality and verification measurement tool -this might be required at any point of the membership, in order to additionally:
    a) verify the account ( regardless of previous verification statuses)
    b) to exclude the chance of the account being compromised
    c) monitor the quality of provided information (honest and accurate information about themselves and all survey questions to the best of their ability)
This method is used extensively in the market research industry for security and quality purposes. Again, we would like to emphasize that this is a one time verification check that members will not have to repeat over the lifetime of their account. That being said, the member has since verified their account and they can continue taking surveys and can redeem their points.

Our records indicate that the member had multiple accounts which is against our Terms. We have deactivated their other account and left their main account, active. We recommend them to refrain from creating duplicate accounts as this is against our Terms and will result in permanent account suspension. That being said, the member was credited with 945 pints and they can continue taking surveys.

I have been doing surveys online and most of the higher point surveys kick me out at the end of the survey....after 90% is completed which takes over 30 mins and I am not compensated!! I just did one and again my profile is completely accurate, I only have one account, I qualified for the survey and was validated. I spent over 30 mins on the survey that was supposed to take 20 mins. Finished it and answered clarifying questions again...same as in the beginning. Entered my exact age, clicked continue and was told I did not qualify and was not compensated. This is ** and i want my compensation!!!!. This is a scam and fraud and I will press charges if necessary. To rob people of their time and effort is disgusting! I've reached out to survey junkie and I am told the same lie again. I WANT MY MONEY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please note that though it can be disappointing, getting terminated from surveys is a common occurrence and a part of survey taking. It is possible that during the survey, as the survey providers were gathering information, they determined the member was not the kind of participant they were looking for, so they terminated the survey. This can happen at any point in a survey, regardless of how much is completed. Please note that Survey Junkie has no say in members getting disqualified or terminated from a survey and it is up to the sole discretion of the survey providers. However, to reward members for their time and effort we award 2 or 3 points for every disqualification. That being said, third party survey providers do not receive the information a member provides on a survey, if the survey is terminated, meaning a member's answers are only saved if they successfully complete the whole survey and receive full points.

On August the 19th 2022 I noticed that my survey junkie account was under review when I tried to redeem my 2804 points which equals to $24.04. I then emailed the customer support team. Finally on August 24th 2022 I finally hear back from customer support. They give me some mess about they ran a anti-fraud scan and claimed that my account had been disclosed in unauthorized activities such as "tampering with links to bypass or circumvent survey controls, or through any other fraudulent or false means, in order to redeem points." They then suspended my account and I am unable to redeem my $24.04 plus the additional $5.00 for completing a small number of surveys by the end of last month. I asked to speak to a higher up person and I finally get an email today saying that the case was closed. Most of the surveys that I had taken my camera had to be on and it was to record my reaction to some movie clips. I had sat for hours completing surveys. I have a total of 124005 life points that I have received since later in the year last year. I want what is rightly mine which is $33.04 and I will be out of their hair. I started doing surveys on different sites since they locked me out and I was able to get a $25.00 gift card from a different survey site just today. I honestly feel like when someone has reached a certain number of life time point they want to make up something and suspend peoples accounts. That's not how you run a business. There was no warning or anything. I had not done anything wrong. They own me and I want the money that I worked hard for. It's not fair that they hold people's money like that. I want this issue addressed because if they think they can do it to me they will do it to other people. I also want my W9 and I will be done with them all together. I also have the emails sent to me and the ones I sent to them if you need me to send them to the person who may handle my case. I did include the pictures of some of the points that I had received .

The member's account was marked for potentially fraudulent and/or unauthorized activities based on quality control measures that the Survey Junkie system has in place. However, as an exception, the member was given another chance to recover their account and continue benefiting from our services and they can continue taking surveys and redeeming their points. We would like to recommend them to be consistent with their answers, take more time to give quality answers and provide detailed and thorough responses.

I am utterly annoyed. My portal states that I have been cleared for payment. It stated that I will be paid September 1 and now it's stating September 7. Without any explanation of why the payment date was changed. Of course I reached out to the non-existing customer service line and did not hear anything. I would like the money that I've earned.

I am receiving an error code when I try to verify my identity and have submitted multiple service tickets for the issue. Only received one email stating that I need to talk to a representative. Okay, no problem. Their phone lines go directly to voicemail, and the one call I did receive from the company came after 8pm and because I didn't answer it at that hour, they didn't even leave a callback number, just a message saying to submit another service ticket because they couldn't get a hold of me. You think calling someone at 8pm is a good time to discuss business? Every attempt after that to get through to customer service has failed and I would just like someone to actually talk to me about the issue since I can't even verify my identity to redeem my money, but I can't talk to the company to verify my identity. Please just someone call me and leave an actual message and callback number since I'm working most of the day and usually do t answer my phone.
