I tried redeem my money earned via survey junkie to no avail. They keep sending an error message, i try again, get the same confirmation code 4 times, still error message, then they block me for 1 hour for failing to provide with a valid code. And so on. I have been attempting to collect a survey which i completed that was worth 365 points .i emailed with the survey id and received no response.it has also been 3 and a half days of a blank homepage and one phantom survey that stands there only for you to be brought back to the home screen.it has been unnecessarily excruciating to even manage to complete one single survey as i have been standing in the same mark for 3 days with no sort of tech support whatsoever. It is frustrating knowing that i am less that 100 pts to redeem and survey junkie tries to make it impossible for its workers to do so.i only come here as a last resort to see if any help can be provided.Business Response

We have checked our records once more and did not locate a survey worth 365 points. If they contact us directly with the survey ID, we'd be glad to look into that survey. We would want to receive the Survey ID, as that is the unique identifier, thus making sure we are looking at the correct survey. I know I did not meet anywhere near a tax threshold and I have been able to cash out fine plenty of times. Suddenly, I got to enough points to cash out and all of the redeem options are greyed out saying to contact customer support.
Customer support does not respond.
Right before this happened there was a pop up asking to verify myself via phone number and that I would also get a 50 point bonus and can continue using my account. I verified via text, days later... everything is still locked.
I spent around 2 or more hours and I cant even cashout a measly $5 dollars. I have $5.83 I want to redeem and there still sending me surveys to do while this is happening. I am not going to waste further time until this is resolved ! obviously.
I read responses saying they request ID. Well, even if that was requested of me.. theres no where to provide the ID. It only asked for me to verify my phone number.
I guess I wasted a few hours of my life.Business Response

In order to improve the security of Survey Junkie and its members, we are introducing a new process of verification which is Photo ID verification, which will be a one time verification tool for our panelists. As a quality and verification measurement tool -this might be required at any point of the membership, in order to additionally:
a) verify the account ( regardless of previous verification statuses)
b) to exclude the chance of the account being compromised
c) monitor the quality of provided information (honest and accurate information about themselves and all survey questions to the best of their ability)
This method is used extensively in the market research industry for security and quality purposes. Again, we would like to emphasize that this is a one time verification check that members will not have to repeat over the lifetime of their account. That being said, the member has since verified their account and they have been able to continue taking surveys and have since redeemed their points.Initial Complaint

I've been on s junkie for 2 months now and ive finally completed task commission and I did research to see if I would get the money I was promised if I did task that was asked of me that I would receive a profit and I didn't find any people saying they've gotten paid or even contacted about the matter and I would just like to know will I receive the money or not and if so how long does this typically take and if not why not? I have done work doing surveys for Survey Junkie. When I tried to redeem the money, they said I had to verify my identity by sending in my driver's license and photo, which I did. They said they still could not verify my identity and to put in my information to be placed into a call queue. The call queue button is not enabled, so I cannot get through with this option. Also, all messages sent to them have received no response. I would like to redeem the money for the work and to be able to do future surveys/work and be compensated as the company states.Business Response

I have done 2 seperate surveys this week claiming 750 points ******* and 250 points ******* both of which were completed and claimed to award me, even showing up in my "Life Time Points" account history page, however they were NOT creditted, the only thing that credits are LOW points surveys.
I have contacted SurveyJunkie customer support half a dozen times, way over the "48 business hour reply" claim they have on the page.
Their FAQ tells me to contact them if this issue happens, however, they don't reply? Seems very fraudlent.Business Response

Regarding surveys, please note that if a member contacts us for assistance about a specific survey, we would want to receive the Survey ID, which is the unique identifier, thus making sure we are looking at the correct survey. If the member reaches out to us directly with the Survey ID, we would be glad to look into the survey for them. That being said, per our records, the survey for 750 points the member was referring to, had to firstly go through a review process, as explained in the notice they received before they began the survey. That being said, the points have already been applied to their account as the review process of the survey has already been finalized. The member has received these points and they have already redeemed these points.

I have been using Survey Junkie for a few months now and have found it's a great way to make a little extra money in my spare time. I've never had a problem getting paid until now. Because I am at the **** dollar mark, they requested that I fill out a *** for tax purposes which I did and submitted to them via email. However, when I try to redeem my points, I get a message that says I need to enter the "call queue" so customer service can call me for verification. The problem is that the phone number I signed up with is no longer valid and I am unable to change it on my end. I have emailed them multiple times asking them to update my phone number. Supposedly they respond to emails within 48 hours but that is not true at all. I have been trying for over a week to redeem my points, but Survey Junkie is not being cooperative at all. We require a W9 form from our members when they approach $600 in a calendar year. We are required by the *** to report members that reach this amount of earning on our site, it is not an arbitrary rule determined by us. I was not able to redeem the points that I had. I was prompted to enter a call queue but after two dozen attempts in the call queue failed I emailed and direct messaged the company. After a couple days I was given a W-9 to fill out. I sent it back immediately. After a day I was told I would be emailed shortly after and it would be resolved. It's been radio silence ever since then. I just want to be able to redeem the points that I earned.Business Response

I'm having trouble redeeming my earned points from Survey Junkie. I have done all that I can possibly do to be sure that I've complied with the process to redeem points. I've clicked on redeem points, and get a message saying to check my registration email for a verification code. Then I check my email and a code never arrives. I now have over 3500 pts. On 08/05, I was prompted to review my account for 50 points. My information was already entered correctly, so I clicked continue, and received the message, "Your account needs a review. Please contact Customer Support for assistance." I was then locked out of my account, so I sent customer service a message explaining my problem. I received a reply on 08/09, stating that I have created several accounts on the platform, which is against Survey Junkie Terms of Use, and in order to continue my activities, I should choose one account. I replied stating that that was incorrect, and received a reply on 08/10, stating that in order for me to complete account verification, I need to provide a valid phone number. It was also stated to make sure I am entering a US, non-virtual (non-VOIP) phone number, so that I will be able to receive the verification code on my phone, which I will then have to enter into their system. So I returned to enter my phone number, and it was already entered with a 1 in front of it. I re-entered my phone number without the 1, and received the same message that I received before, "Your account needs a review. Please contact Customer Support for assistance." I replied to Survey Junkie, stating that my phone number is a valid cell phone number, and that I was receiving the same message as before. I then asked if there was a way to get the money that is left in my account since the system wouldn't let me in. I received a reply on 08/12, stating to please try to use another phone number that is not affiliated with any other Survey Junkie account. First of all, I have had my phone number for over a decade, second, I have been using Survey Junkie for over 2 years now. My phone number has not changed. There is definitely a glitch on their end. I realized I was getting the run around, so instead of replying via email, I called customer service. I left a voicemail stating that I was trying to resolve the issue without contacting BBB, and still no response.Business Response
