Went to go cash out my money I earned doing surveys and they needed me to verify my account with my photo id. Never had an issue with survey junkie with the years that I had them now all of a sudden I do.Business Response

As a quality and verification measurement tool -this might be required at any point of the membership, in order to additionally:
a) verify the account ( regardless of previous verification statuses)
b) to exclude the chance of the account being compromised
c) monitor the quality of provided information (honest and accurate information about themselves and all survey questions to the best of their ability)
This method is used extensively in the market research industry for security and quality purposes. Again, we would like to emphasize that this is a one time verification check that members will not have to repeat over the lifetime of their account. That being said, the member has since verified their account and they can continue taking surveys and can redeem their points.

I have been trying to get in contact with them for days. I have done everything that they requested.
Did the verification and it states that it didn't work and they would contact me usually with in 5 min or up too end of business hours .
After joining the call Que and writing customer support by there email I still haven't heard anything.
I do like the site and what they do but I would like to cash out but I am still waiting for a call.

I apparently have the same complaint as others in terms of as far as collecting my money. I have emailed twice, and tried to call, they have not responded to my email and there seem to be bogus phone numbers.Business Response

Have bern waiting over 10 days for a call back to verify my idenity. Sent tax info via email several times no response! Cannot redeem points thru all this! Just want my points and to continue on!Business Response

We require a W9 form from our members when they approach $600 in a calendar year. We are required by the *** to report members that reach this amount of earning on our site, it is not an arbitrary rule determined by us. That being said, the member has since provided the required W9 form and they have subsequently been able to continue taking surveys and redeeming their points.Initial Complaint

I have been using Survey Junkie for a while with no problems. I have been getting e-gift cards and all of a sudden it says there not available. I have emailed them a few times and they will not answer me. I want a response so I can get my rewards the way I want. Which is by e-gift card. I'm tired of being ignored.Business Response

Ive been doing survey junkie for a while now and I have never had a problem redeeming my points, i tried to redeem them on the aug 10, then i had to submit my drivers license and submit a selfie, which i did! I still have had no response from the emails i have been sending. I have enough points to redeem money but I need to verify my account by phone call first. They will not call and will not reply to any service tickets I have sent. Any number they have goes to a voice mail asking to fill out a service ticket in which you receive no reply.Business Response

I've been doing their online surveys and been getting payment from them in the form of e-gift cards.
The last time I tried to redeem some points, I received a message saying that I had reached pay status of over $600 and I needed to fill out a w-9 form with them for tax purposes. The message stated that they would call me in order to get my info in order to do so. They said that I was on a phone cue and I would receive the call soon. I tried at least 4-5 times but I never got the call. I've seen on line that this is an ongoing issue with other people like myself. Some say that after a few times they got the issue resolved but some said that they did not. I've amassed over $30 in their surveys but cannot redeem them. Please help me resolve this problem. I do surveys for Survey Junkie all the time, and they don't to me seem as greedy and unethical as most survey companies. I only do this because I have to, I'm a musician, and broke. Survey companies take advantage of people like me, boring tedious surveys, but what's worse is not getting paid. I have had many discussions with Survey Junkie, and it's always their clients fault, well I say get better clients! One trick, you answer 20 questions, and then, sorry, you don't qualify. Apparently they think I'm stupid. The fact that a black trans woman in San Francisco who's 52, and interesting are blah blah blah, you have information, and giving me 3 cents is nonsense!
But worse are the constant technical "errors that happen after you've completed the survey, in several occasions in the last few days I have done surveys completely, thanks for taking the survey, then suddenly, another screen says I didn't qualify. That has happened at least 4 times in the last 2 days, I sent screenshots, we're talking about $4 or something, and I'm desperately trying to earn it, and your clients are cheating me out of it left and right. Please note that though it can be disappointing, getting disqualified from surveys is a common occurrence and a part of survey taking. It is possible that during the survey, as the survey providers were gathering information, they determined the member was not the kind of participant they were looking for, so they terminated the survey. This can happen at any point in a survey, regardless of how much is completed. Please note that Survey Junkie has no say in members getting disqualified or terminated from a survey and it is up to the sole discretion of the survey providers. However, to reward members for their time and effort we award 2 or 3 points for every disqualification. That being said, third party survey providers do not receive the information a member provides on a survey, if the survey is terminated, meaning a member's answers are only saved if they successfully complete the whole survey and receive full points.
