That being said, In order to improve the security of Survey Junkie and its members, we are introducing a new process of verification which is Photo ID verification, which will be a one-time verification tool for our panelists. As a quality and verification measurement tool this might be required at any point of the membership, in order to additionally:
    a) verify the account (regardless of previous verification statuses)
    b) to exclude the chance of the account being compromised
    c) monitor the quality of provided information (honest and accurate information about themselves and all survey questions to the best of their ability).
    This method is used extensively in the market research industry for security and quality purposes. Again, we would like to emphasize that this is a one-time verification check that members will not have to repeat over the lifetime of their account. Once the member passes Photo ID verification, they will be able to redeem their full points. If they are having technical difficulties, then it can be due to the panelist's device. We recommend them to try to pass verification using a different device or another browser. As mentioned, once the member passes Photo ID verification, they will be able to redeem their full points.

    I completed MULTIPLE SURVEYS for over a year. I cashed in for a **** card (it was virtual) and the card continues to be declined EVERYWHERE. This was a waste of my time and neither **** or SURVEY JUNKIE will contact me so I am out $150.00. I advise anyone to use extreme caution. From my experience... SURVEY JUNKIE is BOGUS

    Survey Junkies is a survey site that pays you for taking surveys. It used to have lots of available surveys with decent points, and I could routinely cash out small sums of money to help with the bills. Now, almost every time I click on a survey with decent points, I get a disqualifying message saying, "Oops, we're seeing double. You've already completed this survey." Which makes no sense: why would they offer surveys I've already taken? I can literally avoid taking surveys for days, come back, and still get this message. I've brought it to the attention of support, but I either get ignored, or I'm given some canned response and brushed off.What happened today was so unacceptable I couldn't believe it, and I've never heard anything like it from any other survey sites. I actually got into a survey for 75 for around 12 minutes (I don't recall exact minutes). I came to the end of the survey after completing it to the best of my ability, just to be disqualified. Now any other survey sites would call that Late Disqualification and give me full points for fulfilling my part of the bargain. I even had a screenshot to prove I finished it. When I complained to Survey Junkie, they just sent me this long drawn out canned response saying: "I'm sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced. Upon checking survey #*****-24100684 for the 75 points you referred to with the survey provider, we regret to inform you that you were disqualified due to the answers you provided at the very end of the survey." But here's 25I'm sorry, what?!? Doesn't filling out a survey to the best of your ability all the way to the end mean you earned the offered points??? Isn't that the whole point of taking them??? They're saying that our time isn't valuable, and their clients can disqualify us all the way to the end of the surveys for ANY reason, take advantage of us, and not have to pay us!!! To me, this is unacceptable, and I can't justify wasting my valuable time on their site.

    This is the EXACT canned response they keep giving me in emails. It only lectures, it does NOT specifically address us survey takers being disqualified at the end of the surveys and being taken advantage of, nor other issues I've mentioned. Other survey sites reimburse us for late disqualifications because they understand that it's unfair. I do not understand why Survey Junkie is different. I HAVE made money on this site, but over the last few months it's been almost impossible! And now with this late disqualification issue, I just don't go on their site as much. Things need to change.

    The response back to me from you was, it was a duplicate complaint. It is not. Its a new complaint. And it said it had obscene language in it. It did not. But survey told me that third parties are responsible for point awards. On 10-07-24 I did two complete surveys that would have totaled 170 points. Instead, I received 0 points. Since the surveys went through Survey Junkie, they should honor the points and tell their third parties to stop cheating survey takers and award points. I will submit proof of the surveys I took.

    I recently began doing online surveys through Survey Junkie. 1. About 50% of the surveys I completed were not paid at all. I reached the final page after many pages of answering questions and then was told by Survey Junkie that I would not be paid. 2. When I tried to redeem my cash reward I was told I needed to be verified. I complied with the cumbersome verification process and submitted my Government ID online. Then I was told that my ID could not be used and I could not redeem payment.3. At the very least, I would like payment for surveys that I completed.

    I am rejecting this response because:  Survey Junkie has sent me a large number of surveys which I completed but got no credit for completing.  I notified them of one especially egregious example and they said they were working on these issues.  I think they are simply trying to avoid paying people.  With all the scams and fraud facing seniors these days many would not submit their government issued ID online to a survey company.  I referred someone recently and he has had the same type of unfair and abusive treatment.  he finally reached his very first payout level and he was told he now needs to verify himself before he can collect his earned reward.  Why don't they ask for verification BEFORE having people complete scores of surveys so that a person could decide whether or not they wanted to complete any of these surveys which pay such a tiny amount.  Had I been asked to verify up front, I would not have done a single survey.  That would have been fair and honest.  It is shameful how they treat people at this business.

    Survey Junkie knowingly hosts survey companies that provide glitchy, unreliable surveys that do not pay out upon survey completion. This isn't about disqualification. Fully completed surveys. I have reported and screenshot multiple surveys to SJ, only to be told it's the survey provider's problem and there's nothing that they can do. They stopped compensated me for lost points. 100 pts equals $1.00. Being permently disabled, this is all I can do to earn just a pittance. How does this company even get high ratings?

    I'd add that they say they are "constantly working with their partners" to ensure a better survey taking experience, but that partnership certainly isn't delivering. I never doubted that the site wasn't legit. Just careless.

    I am a subscriber of an online survey site called "surveyjunkie.com" where you agree to take surveys from companies the site connects you to in exchange for a set amount of points. The points accumulate in various amounts which can be redeemed for gift cards to retail stores or your bank account. This site is notorious for allowing survey companies to falsely advertise on amounts of time a survey will take & routinely kick you out of a survey due to responses they don't like, well after you've put in chunks of time completing and coming to the end of a survey. I've reached out to the site several times. They hide behind "disclaimers" that state they are not responsible for how the companies they connect you to do their business. Recently, I spent ***** on a survey & was about to submit it & claim the ********************************************************************************************************************************************** further product studies where they'd send me a product to "test out" for a period of time. I was uncomfortable giving this type of info. out over the internet, so I opted not to provide it. I was immediately kicked out of the survey & was told I was somehow "disqualified" - well after spending the time to take the entire survey. Since the company did not state it's intent to ask for such info. at the beginning of the survey & kicked me out of it at the end simply for not providing such info., I feel that this warranted investigation into their practices. I reached out to "surveyjunkie.com" support staff & asked for a reimbursement of the points rejected by the company, and asked they look into how they do business. I received a completely irrelevant form letter which missed the point entirely and a reiteration that they are somehow "not responsible" for anything that happens through their site. I find all of this very unacceptable & would like the BBB to look into correcting how "surveyjunkie.com" does business.

    Please note that surveys may ask for personal information (such as zip code, date of birth), but members are not required to provide this information. They may choose to decline participation at any time and terminate the survey. However, requesting PII (personal identifiable information), is strictly against Survey Junkie's Terms of Use.

    We hold a high standard of quality to the surveys allowed on our platform. Thus, if any surveys request PII, we ask that members report the ** **************************** for further investigation. We will take the necessary steps to ensure that requests like this are not made by 3rd party providers. For more context and transparency, 3rd party providers compile these surveys and are the sole proprietors of the decision-making process. While they must follow guidelines to adhere to Survey Junkie policy, it is at their discretion on who qualifies for the survey.

    Additionally, due to privacy considerations, Survey Junkie does not share members' personal information with third-party survey providers. As a result, the provider does their best to provide an average survey completion time, but note this average may not apply to every member. Some may be able to complete it faster and some may take longer to answer each question, it all depends on the content and how much the member shares. This is also why members may be asked repetitive questions, as providers do not have prior access to this information.

    Further investigation will take place for this survey and the member may be contacted with additional questions if necessary. They are encouraged to contact our support team for any further questions or concerns with the survey content offered on Survey Junkie.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have opted to "accept" their response & end the inquiry.

    However, I'd like to state clearly one more time that I DID reach out their support staff numerous times about all the issues I brought up in my original complaint.  They claim to hold the survey companies they connect with to a high standard, but I had to bring this to the BBB in order to even hear that from them.  All they ever said to me in response to my many emails was, "disqualifications happen routinely without our control" and "we're not responsible for how the survey companies conduct their business".  That's why I brought this to the BBB.  I think you should keep a close eye on this site & flag any shady dealings you may find.  As for me, I'm done with them.  I found a different survey site that actually cares about it's users and the customer service and support staff are friendly and courteous.  The opposite interaction I've had with survey junkies.

    I have completed surveys for Survey Junkie for several years. I have accumulated ***** points which means I have earned $49.45. I completed the forms to prove my identity in order to redeem the points and was immediately sent a notification that my account was suspended without cause. I have sent three e-mails to Survey Junkie and called (left a message). No one has gotten back to me and I am unable to get in touch with a live person.

    In order to improve the security of Survey Junkie and its members, we are introducing a new process of verification which is Photo ID verification, which will be a one time verification tool for our panelists. As a quality and verification measurement tool -this might be required at any point of the membership, in order to additionally:
    a) verify the account ( regardless of previous verification statuses)
    b) to exclude the chance of the account being compromised
    c) monitor the quality of provided information (honest and accurate information about themselves and all survey questions to the best of their ability)
    This method is used extensively in the market research industry for security and quality purposes. Again, we would like to emphasize that this is a one time verification check that members will not have to repeat over the lifetime of their account. That being said, the member has since verified their account and they have been able to continue taking surveys and can redeem their points.

    Good morning iam still un able to login on the app or website I have already cleared everything on the website like cookies or catche and nothing works I've also done the same thing ok the app and still un able to use it it is very frustrating I think you guys blocked me or something cuz this happened a 2nd time AND THIS IS WHAT IT SHOWA EVERY TIME I LOG IN THROUGH THE *** OR WEBSITE >>> Looks like you are logging in from a country which we do not support. Kindly note that Survey Junkie must be accessed directly from one of our supported countries (***, ******, or *********) so that you can use our services. In any case, please note that this member since been able to successfully login to Survey Junkie and take surveys and they should be able to redeem their points now.
