    I never signed up for anything with these people and the pass 3 months they have taking ***** out of my bank account. A total of ***** and I want it put back in. What do I need to do? Please help.

    I noticed in my checking account that peoplewhizr.com has taken $27.99 on both Sept 20, 2022 and October 20, 2022. I have never once given them my debit card information or used their site so I'm not sure how they got my information. Both debits to my account show they used my debit card ending in ****. This is clearly fraud and I will be pursuing a refund through my credit union.

    Date: 11/3/2022 Amount: $89.70 PeopleWhiz.com committed to providing me full background checks for a 6 month fee of $89.70. After paying the fee, I was informed that to get the full reports that were already promised me, I would have to purchase a Premium Membership. In other words, I was initially a victim of fraud and then the website attempted to extort more money from me.

    I was told this site would give me useful information about people I was inquiring about. It doesn't give anything useful. In fact I looked up myself and the information was incorrect. I told them I wanted to cancel, but they have not responded. I would also like any money already spent refunded. This is a scam!

    We started getting charged for People Wizard a year ago. My husband or I have never signed up for this service. We tried calling and cancelling multiple times and we are still getting charged. We cancelled our bank cards and got new ones and are still getting charged. This is ridiculous and fraudulent activity on this companys behalf. We have been charged $27.99 a month for a service we have never used for over a year. Apparently we cannot get it cancelled either so my husbands VA disability money is being stolen every month by this fraudulent company.

    My husbands name is ***************************. We have never received any email correspondence from the company. My husband has been charged on his **** ending in **** and I was able to track that back to May. I do not know what the previous card was but am waiting for the bank to respond.

    The reason i chose this site was from advertisment on yahoo. Low and behold was i taken for a ride. I paid the asking price to see. It was on myself and 2 best friends. There is hardly any real information disclosed and the personal information is false. the birth dates are erroneous as nowhere near actual. The criminal is also a joke. One of my friends had a DUI in Feb of 2022 yet failed to show. I had a bankruptcy 2019 and the other friend had one in 2020. not of Poeplewhiz yet of Been Verified its exists. The website claims 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. Thats a joke as well. The offered to cancel my membership and refund me 75 % of my payment without reason. They refunded me &75% without consent as my records will show. They claimed this what then have to offer. I responded not acceptable as your site claims 100% not 75% satisfaction guarantee. Ive not heard back from them nor has my bank showed a full refund of *****. it has however should the offer of ***** already posted back to my account.

    This site keeps sending popups after visitin it once, and is a pain in the ****.I didn't sign up for anything, and now I can't get rid of these things as it pus some sort of invasive software that is not in the regular control panel where I can delete it.This company is annoying like a company that keeps calling you at dinner after you told them to quit.I called them, and they gave me instructions that didn't work.The "optout" link requires that you send a current ID with picture "to prove it is you that is asking to have it removed." (not falling for that ****.)

We do not have control of the public records available, but we do allow individuals to remove their name from the database. The driver's license is only requested to validate the identity of the individual requesting (there can be multiple people with matching names and cities) for their information to be removed and to help us with our monthly compliance review. We have gone ahead and removed your information and you do NOT need to provide an ID. Regarding the browser notifications - all you need to do is go into your browser settings and disable them and you will stop receiving them.

    I went on Peoplewhiz.com to opt out of their search company (?) I found out I was on their site through another site who searches the dark web. Peoplewhiz.com asked me to verify my identity by supplying a copy of my *** something I have never had to do any other time I have requested to opt out of these search sites. I feel as though they need to delete my information now without the *** considering my information, especially my name, is unique.
