      My original lease end/maturity date with *** was originally 6/5/22 but due to covid in 2020, I had deferred 3 payments. I was informed the deferred payments would be tacked onto the end of my lease extending my lease by 3 months, pushing the new lease end date to 9/5/22. No problem. Recently got a bill and *** is charging me an ADDITIONAL $1734 stating it is the total of the 3 deferred payments from 2020. But I am already paying those 3 deferments from the extended from 6/5 to 9/5. I never asked for the extension on my lease, *** INFORMED ME THAT IS HOW DEFERRED PAYMENTS WORK. I have spoken to SIX customer service reps and no one can assist me. No one understands or sees the issue. I am so frustrated and annoyed by ***. My lease was 36 months. 6/5/2019 - 6/5/22.

      Car was paid off when I refinanced with my bank. Turns out KMF is awful. They overcharge by thousands and have no customer service. I have filed a complaint with them because though it was paid in December, they failed to send the title to the bank or me. They claim now they have to send it to a "back office" that has no means of communication with people to get the title. If it exists. You would think so, since they built the *** car. Atrocious company, everyone should steer well clear of. Complaint with their company is 1-42151920680, but I am sure the woman who put it in never actually did so.

      I will not rest until the proper papers are where they belong, abd since they sent it REGULAR MAIL, I doubt we will ever see it.  I want a follow up.  These legal documents need to be sent WITH TRACKING.

      Still paying off my 2016 kia ***** with less than ****** miles on it , that was purchased in Dec. of 2020. There is a service campaign, I was not aware of, that started in the beginning of 2020 for a "product improvement". This improvement is suppose to lock up you engine if (let's be honest, when) there becomes a problem with it before it become unrepairable. Guess what? Its to cover *** because their engines are faulty. If you didn't get your improvement before your engine problems, that is on the customer. They know their engines are a big issue and use the product improvement to avoid the costs of fixing everyone's faulty engines. Talked to a Kia ********** service member and multiple customer care agents to attempt to appeal my case because my engine is blown with no previous indication of a problem and no high mileage. Kia ********* keeps on denying any fault and won't fix their faulty engine. There's been recalls on many models and wouldn't be surprising if there's more in due time. There are a ton of complaints with customers that are dealing with same issues with Kia ***** of the same year and same range of mileage (yes there will be normal issues about ******* but less than ******...fishy). It's bittersweet, everyone I talked to is sympathetic and try to help where they can. I can bet its because they know that ********* knows of their engine issues and hide behind the fact that it's legally on the customers for not knowing about product improvement. Now I can pay over ***** out of pocket to pay for an engine on a car that is worth just that that I've only owned less than 2 years. Disappointed on how shady Kia ********* is and sad that now I have to figure out a solution by myself in bad car market.

      Yesterday 08/15/2022 while driving on my way home, the motor in my wifes 2016 *** ******* VIN *****************, blew, leaving me stranded on the side of the highway. With this being our only car and still making payments I had to jump into action and figure how to get it repaired, thats when I found out 1. there was a recall on this car 2. there had been a class action settlement against *** ********************** for this very problem. Upon learning all of this I reached out to *** via their website and sent them a message informing them of the mishap the day before, upon entering the cars VIN i pop up came up and said we were eligible for a Theta II Class Action Lawsuit, however when the *** ******** service rep, named ********, called me back about the request i had sent case #********, she walked through a few things and informed me that per records a part PI-**** wasnt installed, I asked what that was I knew nothing about it, I didnt even know there was a recall until searching my cars problem after the fact, she stated that per the settlement the part PI-**** had to be installed in order to have coverage of my motor failing. However upon several request Carmart where I bought the car nor *** can supply proof that we were ever informed of any recall nor the fact we needed to have said part installed and now we are without a car we have to still make payments on that has failed due to this very recall and now we are left to fend for ourselves, we are not asking for anything from the settlement other than to get the motor replaced given its a known problem known by *** and under recall thats all we want, its what is owed to us.

      I dropped my car off at Ray ******* ************* on 6.19.22. I was having issues with the steering/driving and keeping the car straight. I have been told 2 times it was fixed only to drive it our of the service bay and find it was still doing the same thing. They have replaced the same part two times, replace a steering column, then tore that apart and the car is still not fixed. they have had it for 9 weeks. I was told 3 weeks ago that a Kia ***** engineer was asked to come out to look at the car in person. no one ever called me to follow up and I call there today to be told that the engineer never came and *** said they did not know when they could get someone out to look at it. I have already paid ******* dollars and still no resolve. I have paid 3 car payments since my car has been there. I would like my money back and my car fixed or some resolution. I can not provide the receipts because they are in the car glove box . I placed them there when I was told the car was fixed. I can produce my bank statements to prove I paid.

      It has been 4 days since the response that someone would reach out to me. At this time on 8.22.2022 I have not heard from *** by phone or email. I also confirmed with the dealership and they still have not heard from *** in regards to a date that a field engineer will be out. 

       

      Per the information from the dealership it has been 4 weeks and no response from *** on an agent coming out to look at my vehicle. My car has now been in the shop going on 10 weeks. 

       

      I have emailed back on the original **** email with no response and I have called the customer care number, entered my **** number and sat on hold for over 30 minutes for 4 different times with no answer.

      They never addressed or compensated me for having to pay for a rental. Also the motor needs fixed.

Thank the lord ..I'm up to date on oil changes and etc.i still had ***** to go before next oil change.when the police came by assist they stated that a lot of *** vehicles been doing this.he advised me to check out a global lawsuit made against ***, ******* and they lost the lawsuit and were reported to fix engines at no cost. .I called their consumer line.they basically laughed at me and said no we will not repair..I'm up date on all repairs and oil changes.im highly disappointed in *** dealer,consumers and company period..this is my only vehicle I had to pay for tow to dealer and no help..they want me to pay **** oh my .how..this is a engine recall. My signs popped up on dashboard stating problem before hand. Just completely stop. No help at all from this Kuala company..I have copies of the lawsuits .

      On may 27 2022 myself and my 2 young children were in a single car wreck were the car would not come to a stop and the vehicle rolled and up in the embankment landing on the cement brick were the water goes.my insurance paid off my car but not all my bills and I am out a nice car I was happy with til the malfunction.please contact me on ways we can resolve this because I don't want it to happen to anyone else.       *** has lease deals on their website that you cannot get from online sales or by contacting dealerships. By trying to purchase vehicles online or by contacting dealerships, the price is almost doubled what the lease promotions state as advertised including adding tag, title, tax fees in small writing.

      There is a class action law suite and im trying to get my vehicle repaired. *** will not issue me a letter that the problems im having are not covered in the class action. *********** wants to charge me ****** for a known problem. I took my *** to *********** with an appointment and they refused to honor my appountment and refused service stated i have to go to Ventura. I feel that my only option is to sell my car(lemon). I bought it certified preowed and had so many problems. Kia america, *** has been no help.

      Wife and I purchased a 2022 ************* from ************************************ in ***********, ******** on July 23rd 2022. We drove the vehicle home that day and to the airport the following day. The car sat at the airport until July 31st. On our way home from the airport, the transmission started having issues. Called the dealership on July 25th and they came to pick up the vehicle. We didn't recieve a update until August 11th that it was a transmission issue and that it needed to be replace. Followed up on 8/15 to learn that a transmission is backordered. The car has 500 miles on it and was driven only 3 days. We are now entering a period where we have to register it with the ***************** and pay our first car payment. We don't feel like we should be entiltled to make a payment and register a car that we only have drove 3 days. A brand new car shouldnt require a brand new transmission at 500 miles. ******************** has been no help and the dealership has not been helping at all. The dealership told me that we paid for the car and they are a 3rd part and that it is out of there hands. This was my wifes first brand new car and it absolutely pains me to see her upset. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I will refer friends away from ***. The dealership and Customer support keep telling me that they have never seen this issue before. *** needs to make this right. VIN:*****************

      I have been given this answer since 8/3/2022. I have called *** everyday asking for someone to call me about the issue and have not recieved one call or voicemail. My claim is #********. *** needs to do a better job reaching out and taking care of customers who are having issues. My first payment is due next week and the dealership is telling me it could be weeks before my car is repaired. *** needs to replace the vehicle.
