Our 2024 Telluride (at 2800 miles):Had problems soon after getting it. Had to buy a battery jump device as it was failing to start without a jump. First time in *** service garage they could find nothing, yet problem continued. Service finally replaced the battery and car worked for a couple of months. Have had to tow this lemon in five times now in the February 2024 to February 2025 period. Have had the car in the *** garage in total approximately seven weeks now and still not fixed according to service. **** own service records document this. Problem is intermittent. The car starts behaving for a time after service tells us it is fixed, or that after weeks there, they cant find anything to fix. Sadly, we trusted *** to be able to fix and make reliable this car and didn't give up on it before the one year limit on the MI lemon law. A car that you cant rely on to do groceries or go to the library is worthless. We know by now we cant trust it for any trips. Not acceptable. We ended up with a lemon by most any measure. Beautiful car, when it works! **** *******

I am filing this complaint against Kia America, **** for bad faith handling, deceptive trade practices, and unreasonable delays in their Lemon Law buyback process for my 2023 *** ******* X-Line ****** agreed to repurchase my vehicle after repeated failures and misfires within ***** miles. Despite this, *** has delayed, stalled, and misrepresented key terms, leaving my family in financial and emotional ************ ghosted us for over a month after we signed the first settlement to then give us another paper to sign and the the representative went on a week vacation.****** did not contact us for over a month until my lawyer sent a certified ********** promised additional reimbursements via email but excluded them from the revised settlement. The first settlement had a clear payment deadline, but the new version removed it, creating uncertainty. After signing, *** ghosted us again. We were forced to keep making car payments while *** intentionally delayed the process.***s lack of urgency caused financial strain, unnecessary legal fees, and emotional distress.Consumer Protection Violations Kia America may have violated the following:1. ********-**** Warranty Act Failure to honor the warranty and buyback process fairly.2. ************************ Act Engaging in deceptive and unfair business practices.3. Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act Bad faith negotiations and misleading consumer transactions.4. Breach of Good ************ Dealing Deliberate delays and misrepresentations.Kia Americas deliberate delays, misleading communication, and broken promises have caused financial hardship. Their Lemon Law process is designed to exhaust consumers into accepting unfair terms.I am urging the FTC, Arkansas Attorney General, and BBB to investigate and take action against ***s unethical trade practices.

My 2022 ************ just broke down one day with engine failure on November 7, 2024. They wouldnt even look at my car for over a month. Its now January 13th (over 3 months later) and I still dont have my car back. BEWARE: They ONLY cover a loaner vehicle for 10 DAYS even when the issue is covered by the warranty. So if you buy a Kia, youre stuck paying rental fees for MONTHS to fix issues that should not have happened to a 2-3 year old vehicle that was bought in new condition at the same dealership.

She is a young lady in a call center and I find it hard to believe she doesn't have a boss.On my recorded line, she confirmed she does NOT have a boss and she is the highest one can call for ************* that the best *** can do?wow!

I am filing this complaint regarding an engine failure on my 2018 *** ******* 2.0L turbo. The vehicle experienced sudden and unexpected engine failure while driving on the highway, creating a significant safety risk. The car was diagnosed by a certified *** service center as having a failed piston ring and cylinder 1 with insufficient compression. The service center confirmed that the issue was not caused by user negligence or external damage, but *** ********************** has refused to provide assistance, citing that the vehicle is outside its warranty period.Details:Vehicle purchased: [9/1/2023 and *** ******* ******* *********, IN]Mileage at the time of failure: [110,000]Diagnosis: [Failure of piston ring and cylinder 1 resulting in insufficient compression.]Maintenance History: I have maintained the car regularly, including oil changes and required service (documentation available upon request).Safety Concerns: The vehicles sudden failure while driving on the highway posed a severe safety risk to me and others.Resolution Sought:I am seeking:1.Assistance from *** ********************** for engine repair or replacement.2.A review of whether this failure is related to known issues with *** engines.3.Potential goodwill support, considering the safety risks involved and the lack of negligence on my part.

To lease *** is easy they beg you for it, but to return your lease....well that is H*** Any other brand I lease, when contract was over I went to a dealership and they look over the car and took it back without hassle. *** is a nightmare....went to 3 different *** stores and none of them took it back. All kind of excuses! I guess if I would be interested in another *** ***** they would take me immediately. Don`t lease ***, not only you will have issues with the car, but you can`t return it either and it`s been a week and I still can`t find a dealer in 30 miles radius to take. Shame on ***. They told me to call KIOA Finance ( another nightmare to get on the phone) and they will try to locate a dealer. Who do they think I am? AM i I an employee of *** and they can just treat me like an employee. My time is precious to me and I am not willing to drive who know where and get second ****** or **** to come back home. Despicable! STAY AWAY from *** no matter how cheap it might seem, it`s not worth it.

I regret leaving ****** for ***. Ive Owned ****** for over 15 years. I wanted to give *** an opportunity and got me a KiA ********* 2023 Carnival has been nothing but a money pit my two main problems above all is the charging ports USB stopped working completely. My 2nd problem is my Carnival has been at the dealership for 30 days with a fuel pump issue. The dealership told me it was going to take a few days for them to fix it BUT NEVER TOLD ME IT WAS GOING TO BE A MONTH and still counting. I told them I rely on my vehicle because I need it for work. So I asked them to try to get it fix ASAP. I work for a wheelchair manufacturer and all my clients depend on me to fix their power wheelchair. Unfortunately I was only able to afford to pay 2 weeks on a car rental. That was over $1200. And because I couldnt keep up with my job they decided to let me go. Its unfortunate because holidays are right around the corner. Thank you *** I really made a mistake buying a 2023 Carnival with multiple issues. And NOBODY CARES! Future *** buyers please stay away!

My daughter has a 2020 Kia ********** It has ****** miles it now has a bad motor she has a secondhand owner so they say its only ****** on that I was on. The Telluride site were at least a half a dozen to a dozen people said that their motors blew on their telluride between 75 and ****** miles miles. Im thinking there is a problem and there shouldve been a recall on this. They wont touch her since shes a secondhand owner and it is over the ****** miles x ****** am guessing this could be a lawsuit for a faulty engine if everybody else is having trouble. All she wanted was a fact she cant afford to spend ****** to get a new engine or ****** think this needs to be looked into.
