1 starI will never refer Kia ******** They approved me for a deferment / modification on 8/22/2024 that I received by email. However, I found out on 9/23/204 or 9/24/2024 through a collection call. Informing me that that contract was denied. I had a trip to see my sick father in ***********, he's elderly, not doing too well. That was why I needed this. Now, I'm willing to take that month's payment and decide it within 8 months. That is what is left on my loan, less than a 9-month pregnancy (that goes fast). They want me to bring the account up to date before they can make a plan dividing that month's bill and divide it with my regular monthly bill moving forward. They refused and are refusing such arrangement. **** it, I'm still, paying the bill. Even though it was their fault for not informing me that the deferment plan was refused. Now, I'm being punished! I've been paying for my vehicle since 2018. Why would I want to stop now with only 8 months to go????I will never do business with them or refer ANYONE to **** period! I thought ******* was the worst in customer service. Boy, was I wrong!! I will be also posting this at BBB as well!I give it zero stars!! However, have to select one by obligation!Review fromRoger P

1 starWorst car ever. Bought a 2013 Kia *** used (30k miles) in 2015 and regretted it the moment I was driving it home. It has had so many expensive issues and is an extremely underperforming car. Latest is the recall where cars catch on fire! Even if off. You have to take it in to a dealer, spend time, miss work, and who knows what will be done. Just stay away from this awful brand. Buy anything else (maybe not *******).Review fromBrian H

1 starUnfortunately I am forced to give at least 1 star, but Kia ******* customer service is basically non-existent, their operations would be laughable if there was not the potential impact on my credit history. Their representatives, that I can barely understand, has stated that my insurance company has not paid the balance for the total loss vehicle, but my insurance company has shown proof of the transaction and proof that *** has the money. My secondary complaint is that *** only has one point of contact, a phone number that everyone must use, which makes it extremely difficult to open a line of communication if there is something other than simple questions, which my issue could easily be resolved if *** had a responsible customer service department. Just to be clear, Kia ******* is terribleReview fromLisa H

1 starMy 2014 *** forte koup had engine recall on it. I had it at three ***s , first one said it was not bad enough, second one told me it needed an engine flush that was performed by a licensed mechanic and still no good and the third one told me it was past being fixed !!!! I am a disabled widow and they took full advantage of me When the first one took it back again and got the engine recall performed , I was told I would be able to rent a vehicle until the time they had a loaner car available . Not having the funds and letting them know that, they told me what to do and that is definately covered for the rental car reimbursement . When I finally got my car back , I did just as told and I sent all paperwork for car as well as rental car to the address the dealership as well as *** told me to send it to . I was told it would take several weeks. well when I contacted them a few weeks later , its been a total disaster and they told me that the info was sent to the wrong place and I was now out of time to submit my info. This has been going on close to a year, when with my health problems , it was told to me to contact BBB. All I want is the $1200 that *** was supposed to reimburse me for the rental car. Can you help me ??I am a elderly disabled widow living on ****** to ****** and this is REALLY HURTING MEReview fromJordynne G

1 starIf I could give them less than 1 star, I would. They made a completely false report of my loan balance to the credit bureaus, an amount my loan was NEVER at. When they reported the correct amount to the credit bureau, it dropped my credit score 10 points because I missed or didnt make a full payment which is incorrect because I made every payment on time. When I told them they needed to fix it, they insisted that I mailed in physical copies of my credit report instead of going into their systems and that I report it on my end. They said it could take up to 3 months for them to do their investigation into their reports. I refinanced my loan with a local credit union because I wasnt going to be risking *** falsely reporting to the credit agencies again, and they havent sent the report stating I paid off my loan with them. So now my credit report states that I have $57,000+ in auto loans when I have less than $29,500 in auto loans, therefore damaging my credit reports, again. ******** company to deal with and horrible with credit reporting.Review fromTyler M

1 starEverywhere I see reviews for *** finance its around a 1 average. Do they just not give a **** about their customers? I have been dealing with them off and on for over a year with little to no progress. They send stuff to an old address, they lie to me, they have no accountability. Ive called 5 times in the last months because they sent the check/title for buying out a lease to the wrong address. They never can give me a straight answer. They are purely pathetic as a company and should be ashamed to call themselves a company.Review fromChris S

1 starI would give *** 0 stars if I could. I purchased a 2015 *** ****** in 2019 and the engine seized up on me on the highway going 75 MPH, the car only had ****** miles on it and *** is refusing to replace the engine. They are using a legal loophole about a sensor that needed to be intalled to warranty their faulty engine for life. They stated they mailed a notice in 2019 about the sensor upgrade however I had never received that. I have tried to reason with the dealership it was towed to, the district manager, *** support over the phone, and *** support via email and they keep denying the replacement. AVOID *** AT ALL COSTS!Review fromJasmine L

1 starI PURCHASED A 2022 *** K5 GT-LINE BRAND NEW OFF THE *** AND *** HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THE WITH THIS CAR SINCE I GOT IT BACK IN 2021.. JUST RECENTLY IT WAS PLACED IN THE SHOP DUE TO TRANSMISSION ISSUE WITH A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE RIGHT SIDE SO FOR 3 WEEKS I WAS WITHOUT MY CAR AND WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO PURCHASE A RENTAL UNTIL I GET MY CAR BACK. SO I SPENT ALMOST 2 GRAND FOR A RENTAL FOR A FEW WEEKS AND SUBMITTED THE PAPERWORK FOR REIMBURSEMENT TO *** AND NOW I AM BEING DELAYED IN GETTING MY MONEY BACK WHEN I WAS TOLD ONCE THE FORMS ARE SUBMITTED THAT I WILL BE PAID BACK IN A TIMELY MANNER. IM STILL WITHOUT A CAR AND HAVE BEEN INCONVINCED AND ALSO CONTACTED THEM TO SEE IF MY MONEY CAN BE EXPEDITED BUT EVERYONE HAS AN EXCUSE AND IT'S NO WAY I SHOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL OCT TO GET MY MONEY WHEN I TURNED THIS PAPERWORK IN BACK IN THE BEGINNING OF AUGUST.Review fromNancy H

1 starIt is ashamed that I can't leave 0 stars after the fiasco that I endured since purchasing a ***. I filed with the Texas Lemon Law after multiple attempts (including 2 transmission replacements) to repair this Sorento with few miles. I was set up with ******** *******, with Escalated Cases. They offered me a buy back versus waiting until the hearing. We signed an agreement at the end of Nov, and I was told it would be 90 days max for it to be completed. It ended up being 9 months which I was told was due to losing 1 employee-this set a major corporation like *** back nearly a year? My car continued to stall out and have ongoing issues that were significant safety concerns which didn't seem to matter to ********- I would leave a message possibly every 3-4 weeks or if the car had an incident so she could document ***** you think she bothered calling back?Ashamed to see the lack of concern from a corp. employee when there are such safety issues for my family. Finally 9 month later, I turn the car in, 7 days before my payment is due- imagine my surprise when 10 days later I start receiving calls with "an attempt to collect a debt" from ***! I was receiving multiple calls a day, so I call ********, the only contact I have-- I called multiple times requesting a call back or the number of someone who could handle this as the payoff check was sent from *** to ***! I also had to send a cashiers check which was finally located 4 weeks later although it had been signed for from *****. After 6+ messages over nearly another month, do you think ******** called back?Of course not- and when I finally got in contact with her yesterday, she was unprofessional and cold. It is truly sad that after enduring so much stress in regards to this, the Corp customer service can treat customers so badly.I have been in Healthcare **** for many years, and if I treated my clients in such a manner, my business would no longer exist. Why aren't these massive corporations held to higher standards?Review fromDavid C

1 star2024 *** ********** 50K Purchase. I Purchased The Vehicle 8 Months Ago. Since Then, 3 Recalls+ 2 Parts Malfunctions. I Called Dealership And CorporateAll They Can Offer Is Just Apologies. I Will Not Recommend Buying A *** To Anyone. I've Spent My Time, Money, And Have A Resentment Toward *** Now. I Asked For *** To Do Something To Make Me Feel Better About ***, Giving Them An Opportunity To Be A Better Company. i.e. At Least Compensate With A ******** Change, Nope, Just Passing Me To The Next Guy, Who Still Could Do Nothing But Apologize. Don't Buy From ***. Don't Buy A ***.
