    First of all, I am EXTREMELY UPSET. How can you as a business cause problems for people trying to seek employment. *** had to change my schedule to a later start date because of this business. How dare you. I have children. Its holiday season. Its already hard to seek employment as it is. For this business be a reason why I am currently out of a job is insane. How DARE YOU. I am almost in tears. Ive already quit my previous job for this new job and this company is ruining everything for me right now. I have rent to pay. Are you crazy? Ive never experienced ANYTHING like this in my life. Literally a background check taking an eternity is stopping me from being employed.

    When I first started becoming afraid of the delays with the background checks, I checked online and reviewed reviews, and my heart skipped a bittwo actually. I already resigned, giving the usual two weeks, and rejected two other offers for ******. Then I noticed hundreds of reviews, with them waiting for eight weeks plus, with offers even getting pulled. I swallowed my spit and called customer service. The script I saw online was the same one I got: "This delay is because we are awaiting a response from a government agency." My heart sank. The job market is so tough, and I just left one job and rejected others. It is obvious that this is going to be a long winter.

    *********************** Reference #: ********* Created On: 10/17/2024 Accurate Background llc told me they made a mistake and are working on removing these 2 cases (Regarding cases 09-02810J5 ACTIVE WARRANT and 09-02810J5A ACTIVE WARRANT 1 in ******, **) off my background. I never been in trouble, never had a felony or criminal record and I don't have warrants anywhere in the world for my arrest!!!!A job is trying to hire me and this company put 2 cases on my background that didn't even belong to me and they apologized talking about they are working on corrections. Yet I'm about to loose my job opportunity with a company over something that wasn't even my fault. Because the company say they need an answer asap. Places like these affect someones lively hood and how they provide food on their table. Ppl can't afford for you to s**** their lively hood up. I think there should be some consequences or steep penalties for the constant s**** **** Too many people on BBB are saying the same thing. This place needs to get out of business and the business of others (BACKGROUND).They love to promise ppl that they will expedite the process. They won't give you a time frame of how much longer it's going to take. Status just says dispute. I was supposed to start the new job Monday 10/28/24 and can't because of Accurate Background llc whose not at all "ACCURATE"

    Again, as I and OTHERS have said "Accurate Background llc REFUSE to give you a time frame of how much longer the process is going to take or how far along in the process they are (beginning, middle, or end). Y'all need to improve your business with better time frames and faster service. There are ppl who waited as long as seven months to get an answer from y'all about their background check. This is OUTRAGEOUS! Jobs are trying to hire *** within the 1st week or two, not months down the line. The job market doesn't work like this.

    Well duh, I filed the dispute, so I already know that. We're still at square one (NO TIME FRAME, A POSSIBLE DATE, OR WEEK of COMPLETION).  If y'all admitted y'all's mistake to me on the phone then what are we even investigating. This needs to be took off my background ASAP. I do not have warrants for my arrest, I am not in any trouble in no city in *******, and I never had a CRIMINAL background in the past. The most trouble I've had is traffic tickets and they were handled early on, and most never even hit my record. Not sure where y'all are getting your information from. All background checks I took in my entire life of 38 yrs has been a breeze. Y'all are the first EVER to do this to me. I never been denied a job because of a ridiculous background check. I'm not somebody who's out here getting into trouble.

    Accurate background is a joke! They continue to tell you that its still in process but refuses to tell you why or whats pending! I have had three other backgrounds done the same day as accurate and all of the others have came back cleared. They keep telling me that its pending and they cant say why and that the *** is November 6th but it could be sooner or later. This company needs to be shut down or a law suit needs filed! This is causing so many people to loose jobs, and causing way more harm to people then good. If I dont get an actual answer as to what is going on I will be seeking legal action against this company

    On October 4, 2024, I was given a email offer for a position with a potential employer. As of October 23, 2024, it is still pending saying "Your background check is almost ready. Results should be posted within a day." It's been saying that since October 17, and I'm currently waiting for the background completion to be able to onboard for the new job. When calling customer service for the company, they say it's still in progress and that they can't tell me anything about it other than that. I have nothing that would flag, and I've been hired by this company previously, and I recently had Accurate Background complete a previous background check for me this year in June with ****** Half and it's taking over a week with no changes in my background, location or job. I just had to resubmit a new date because this is me and the hiring company back from making money to feed myself and my family.

    This company was charged with my background investigation over a month ago, I was told 10 business days would be needed. This was in regard to a job offer. A job offer I have since lost because of them. The company offered me another position but pending the background. Both myself and the hiring company have contacted them with absolutely no resolution. They have held up the process and refuse to provide any explanation about what work theyve done or how much longer they will take.

    As a former employer, I've been trying to submit an Employee Verification Request for about a week now. The email says to "use the link below" to submit the form but there is no link. It also says not to reply to the email since the mailbox is unmonitored. I called the phone number on the request, and I keep getting an electronic message saying they are experiencing phone issues and to use chat or email to reach them. I cannot find a chat feature on their website or an email address to use. Then I called corporate and was told they couldn't help me, and I had to call the number that was having issues. I don't know what else to do, I've called multiple times per day for a week and have gotten nowhere.

    I was never provided a link to respond, it's not that the link didn't work. The phone number you provided is the same one I've called a dozen times and gotten an automated message that there is an issue with the phone line and to chat or email the company instead. When on the website, there is no contact information other than the email that the original message was sent from where it says "Do not reply to this email" because it is not a monitored account. I also found the corporate phone number but was just given the same faulty phone number because they couldn't help me.

    On August 16, 2024, I was given a verbal offer for a position with a potential employer. As of August 23, 2024, it is still pending saying "Your background check is almost ready. Results should be posted within a day." It's been saying that since August 16, and I'm currently waiting on the background completion to be able to onboard for the new job. When calling customer service for **********************, they say it's still in progress and that they can't tell me anything about it other than that. I have nothing that would flag and I've been hired by T-Mobile previously, and I recently had Accurate Background complete a previous background check for me this year (*********) within 2 days and for the current one (*********), it's taking over a week with no changes in my background, location or job.

    Accurate Background was hired by my prospective employer to perform a background check on me. I provided the initial information to consent to the background check with Accurate on July 18, 2024. On July 22, they requested additional documentation in order to do a criminal background check in an ** country. I provided them everything back on July 23. On July 24, they requested a clearer copy of my passport, I provided it on July 24. On July 31, they requested additional contact information for my former employer in the ** but would not specify what sort of information they were seeking (a form? a verbal verification?), but I provided what I had immediately. To date, they have not contacted this person whose information I shared with them. The company offering me the new position followed up with them on August 5 and was promised an August 12 closure date. August 13, I asked my new companys HR if they could check in. Accurate promised they would submit my forms again to expedite the process and projected a new closure date of August 26 to August 28. To date, I have no faith that Accurate had made any attempts to obtain a criminal background check on me in this ** country. In the past, I have gotten two jobs that required commensurate background checks in the time since I worked in the ** country and both were completed in a third of the time. This problem appears to be unique to Accurate Background, which does not meet what appear to be industry standards. I am left with the impression that Accurate is not promptly acting to complete the background check. While I appreciate that many jurisdictions have specialized requirements that will take time to complete, this does not seem to adequately explain the delay. My concerns could potentially be addressed by providing a timeline of the actions that Accurate has taken to date to reassure me that the delay is not due to inaction by Accurate or actual completion of the background check.

    On July 1st I accepted a job offer for an Assembler position at ****** Industries. They told me I had to clear a background check with Accurate. It has been almost 2 months now and they keep telling me they are consistently delaying the process. I have bills to pay and I need a hjob. my poor mother supports me and I don't know how much longer she can do that. There are multiple complaints regarding this company. They need to be shut down.

    An example of mismanagement.  I was getting texts from the hiring manager who showed me they had given an expectant resolution date yet Accurate kept adding to the time needed to process my background check so I can get hired.  This makes me furious, it has been two months now and I am watching my savings dwindle because of this.  You need to make serious changes, because there are people like me who follow the rules and only get kuso like this.
