    I applied to work at Amazon warehouse on 3/10 and started my background/drug tests. My drug test came back fine and my background has not only not come back but is the reason I have had to reschedule my start date with Amazon TWICE now . If my background is not done today Friday 3/22 then I will have to choose ANOTHER start date which is ridiculous because I have two kids and NEED to work and all accurate background is saying is they dont know when its gonna be done !!!! They are a horrible company and need to complete my check !!! Please help me with this because *** waited two weeks and Im still waiting !!!!!

    Accurate Background is the company that my potential employer is using for my pre-employment background check. It has been 10 business days since I submitted my application to A.B (Accurate Background). I since then called multiple times and also a live chat box to get an update on the status of my case is. Each time I was met with a different potential date of completion, basically they just add 4 days to a potential date every time that I would call. I've had background checks done on me before with a similar role with other companies and it would clear in 1 - 3 business days. I would never get any actual update from the agent that I speak to, all I want to is to assist if there are any wrong information that I gave out from my initial input.

    I have been a victim of identity theft and this company apparently does background check on people for Amazon Flex drivers. The individual that has stolen my identity has acquired a job with Amazon and we have made multiple attempts to get Amazon to stop this. This Accurate background LLC did very little to verify the identity of the individual and when I contact them they simply put me on hold or hang up the phone. This is fraudulent activity. We asked them for point of contact to reach out to for amazon flex and they said they wouldn't be able to give that information out. It's clearly a fraud and we would have to file a law suit against Amazon as well as accurate at this point.

    Accurate put a charge on my background check which was dismissed.It was an assault in 2019.Which caused me not to get employed.They keep given me excuses.

    My employer chose accurate to do a background check Ive been waiting for a long time and keep getting the run around first it was said complete then not

    I am in the onboarding process for a job that would like for me to start on February 12, ****. I submitted my background check to Accurate on on January 16, ****. The estimated time on the Accurate website is 1-3 business days. ************** at my potential employer said it should only take 3-5 business days. I submitted a chat request a few days after submitting inquiring about the status and the online chat person said to give it a few more days. I submitted a chat request today (1/22/24) and the online person said the estimated day for it to be finished is February 16, ****. It is a 7 year background check. I've lived in 1 county. I don't understand why my potential employment would be jeopardized by this lengthy procedure.

    I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the services provided by Accurate Background in conducting a pre-employment background check. I am deeply frustrated because Accurate Background is failed to complete the work within a reasonable time frame, and they cannot provide me the additional information (e.g. which court is currently holding my case) about the current progress of my case while other background checks companies would be able to do so. The progress bar of the candidate's portal and the estimated delivered time have very limited relationship with the real progress and the real delivered time. Their customer support including the online live chat and phone call is also unhelpful. As for my case, I initiated my background checks on 12/08/2023, I've heard nothing back but some unhelpful answers like "your background check is being processed" or "Everything is completed on your end" or "As soon as we receive the information that is needed, your background check will be completed" from them till today. It's 22 days (16 business days) and there's no way that's an acceptable time for getting nothing back! It's even more unacceptable given that I did an internship at this future employer and I've done a background check once with Accurate Background a few months ago and it still takes so long. I've contacted their customer support for multiple times and I keep getting duplicate and vague answers. Different agent could provide me totally different ETA... I don't know what is happening and have no idea if they and the third party institutions they are working with are processing my case in a responsible way. As my start date is getting closer, neither I nor my future employer could know if I can join the company at my start date. It could lead to substantial financial loss if I cannot join at my start date. I would strongly suggest Better Business Bureau to investigate Accurate Background for their extremely inefficient work.

    I have a background check started with order number ******** and ********. For either of these orders this company has failed to contact Mecosta county court to conduct a background check, they have had 8 days to send the request and have not. Due to them not sending the request my start date keeps on getting repeatedly delayed making me have a loss of potential income.

    I submitted my background check on 11/23/2023 and the time in my portal just keeps going up although I was told on the 29th that it would be ready in about 5 days. I need this internship as Ive been told it should lead to a job. I start in January and its saying it will take around ***** days to complete but they also dont need additional information. So what am I supposed to do? Why not provide details on the background check stage for a more accurate timeline? This is ridiculous.
