      I just signed at Esporta Fitness in **************. I signed up and tried the gym out including personal training and it was not satisfying at all. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were nothing spectacular and I have been to places with better facilities that I had just listed in this sentence. Additionally, I tried personal training and it wasn't helpful. Now I want to leave and the gym wants to charge me over $900 to cancel the membership. Please think twice before signing up. These people are frauds and they're not worth your money or time.

      They scammed my 80 year old mother who went in to inquire about a physical therapy session. She didn't have her glasses on and thought she was signing up for a free session paid for by ********* They stole her credit card information and signed her up for a $440 / month training plan! She finally noticed it after 7 charges of it on a credit card she's never used. I had to go into the facility to get a copy of the contract they forged. I requested a full refund and they said no. I disputed the charges, the bank said they have a contract, so no reversal. I finally called the police department and now have an active case pending for fraud and coercion. Jerks. Defrauding an old lady who lives off of Social Security only and was tricked into signing documents she couldn't even read (nearly blind). Can't wait to see these effers in Jail. ********************** LA Fitness - you ****.

      These people are trained to scam you! Be careful I got charged for 7 months after my membership was supposedly canceled. I came to the gym on Friday in April to cancel my membership, the employee told me that he canceled it and that the cancelation number would be sent to my email by Monday. Fast-forward to October, I noticed that I was charged by LA fitness for 7 MONTHS. I called them and they said it was never canceled. I asked for a refund and they asked me for the cancellation number. I checked my email and realized that it was NEVER sent as well. Because of that, they refuse to give me a refund even though I did not CHECK IN for 7 months! Be careful when you cancel your membership or do anything related to money here! The staff is trained to exploit any mistake you make to get more money from you. Make sure you have your cancelation number emailed to you!

      Worst gym ever. We have been waiting over 3 months for a heater for the pool. All they do is give you excuses and tell you it will be fixed soon. Another problem that other members have stated they can never get anyone to open on time. Corporate needs to get it's act together. Better off going to Healthtrax

      LA Fitness personal training is terrible. I highly recommend you not to sign up they make sign a contract for a year and you cant cancel regardless of if you use the sessions they will continue charging after your contract date if you can't come in person to cancel, on top of that they can't issue any refunds if you can't come in person to cancel and all the sessions you paid for will expire in 30 days once you cancel the training too. The customer service is also terrible I had to call and email multiple times with promises or calls back and getting the matter resolved. Today I finally was able to cancel after being charged for two additional months, I can't get a refund because I couldn't cancel in person and all the sessions I paid for are only valid for 30 days. Terrible experience and as a veteran, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

      Worst gym experience I have ever encountered,I had signed up for personal training sessions and a one year membership during this time I got an emergency I quit from the work because my mother got sick,she got a uterus tumour, and my physical health got worse and she was in need for me to stay with my siblings I tried to call the manager but they was rude with me they ignored my situation and they still keeping charge me even I just went for one session, I told them you can keep charge me for member ship due but I started please them to stop charge for PT because I am not working but they dont care

      If youre considering joining the ********** but dont sign up for their personal training program. Ill tell you why. Simply put, its not what they sell you at the table. They glorify the program and sell it as personalized, but there is nothing personalized about it. It is nowhere near what its supposed to be. You get 25 minutes working with the trainer and then he/she is off to the next client leaving you confused as to what the rest of your workout should be. I mentioned my concerns from day 1 and kept being asked to give them a chance, which I did. When I asked to cancel the program, I was told it was too late because the cancellation had to be within the first 3 days (the days during which I was asked to give them a chance) and now Im stuck with this program, unfortunately. Im 6 weeks in and still havent learned anything that I havent seen or read online from fitness influencers. If you see people at the desk, its not people talking about things in the gym its just another sucker at the table like me. If you NEED the help and have no knowledge, do it but I promise you its a disaster. Once youre locked in you become a number, but at that table they make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside with broken promises. I lost 62lbs myself working out and eating correctly, but I needed help losing the fluff around my stomach without my appearance looking ill. The saleswoman at the table said they could help me with an individualized plan to meet my needs both nutritionally and with my training. I have given the program 6 weeks with constant communication letting the salesperson know that my needs were not being met as promised. She made a few attempts to make it right but would not help me get out of the program she suckered me into. The best line I was given was I just work for the company so youre trying to build a clientele at the gym by s******* them since some people dont know any betternice! At this point ** throwing in the towel

      The L.A. Fitness located on the corner of ********************** is an absolute joke?? At least twice a week they continue to open up late. This morning there was about 30 people in line at 5AM but they didn't open until around 5 to 10 minutes after. I have been a member for 30 years and have never seen anything like this??

      LA Fitness has been ******************** in the ***** community for years. The fitness center finally received an upgrade and remodel. Unfortunately, during the later hours between 9pm and 10pm, young adolescences know there is no staff and begin to remove their shirts and begin lifting on the equipment. In addition to standing on benches, screaming, and recording. This experience really leaves a sour feel to a new facility. Please address this.

      During Covid (back on March 2020) I called to cancel my membership. city Sport advised me to freeze the account and offer to waive the $10 monthly freezing fee. 27 months later, I realized that as they opened their place, they reactivated it again and changed me for 17 months a $10/mon fee. I never used the service due to health issues and luckily my card was decline a month ago which they reached out to me and I realized that they charge me for that. I called a few times, got a very cold shoulders and rude answers without any flexibility or understanding of my situation. As a local guy who is supporting the community and local Busienss, this is a very bad behavior of a Busienss which I wouldnt recommend to go or work for.
