I have had probably the worst experience than anyone else. I was a member there for a long time. One day I came in to workout and the first thing I do is go to the bathroom. When I walked into the bathroom there was a man in the bathroom half naked. You can only imagine the surprise on my face. It was very traumatizing as you could only imagine. I was so afraid as I stood there alone with a half naked man. I screamed for him to leave as I proceeded to the bathroom. Once, I was finished going to the bathroom I came out of the stall and the man was still there with his d**k out in hand. I honestly thought he was going to do something to me. It was the most frightening experience I have ever came across. I screamed for my life then he finally left bathroom. CAN YOU BELIEVE THEY JUST LET ANYONE IN THERE TO DO SUCH A THING? When I contacted corporate they were NOT helpful at all. I can no longer show my face in the shopping plaza and they can careless. I am so afraid to even shop around that area. I have been followed from there before as well. Corporate refuses any kind of restitution of any kind for my traumatic experience. I am in fear something will happen to me because I turned him in. I HAVE contacted a lawyer as I will NOT let this rest. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!

We cancelled over a year ago. They have been charging us a monthly fee ever since. We have not even been in a single time to the gym since we cancelled. When I called they refused to refund the charges.

Sales people are horrible. I just wanted a month long pass and was sold on a year long pass with tons of fees never explained to me. The sales person actively hid the pricing sheet and did everything in his power to sign me up for a year despite me not wanting too.

They make it almost impossible to cancel. You can't do it on the app, you can't do it on their website. They deliberately are making it difficult to cancel. I called two different locations in my area. The first said I have to call the other location and talk to ***. When I called that location, *** wasn't there and instead there was an incredibly rude women who as soon as I started talking about cancellation she said I was breaking up and she couldn't hear me. Then I went into one of the locations in person and they informed me that I'd have to wait for *** to arrive to cancel OR I could physically mail a request to cancel to ****** **********. And I live in ****. So They are definitely abusing their customers by making it needlessly difficult to cancel membership.

The gym is being managed by arrogant and underqualified employees. They do not know how to handle themself in a professional manner. I recently had an accusassion from another member and was attacked by an employee there threathen to get physical with me. The employee accused me and offended me without getting explaining the nature of his accussassions. When I request to speak to the manager about this employees behavior, the manager was just as unprofessional as her employee. ******** should not be representing this gym along with them current employees. I been a LA Fitness member and Esporta now for years and this by far is the WORST gym I have ever been to. I truly hope action is taken against this employees for the best interest of Esporta. Simply look at the amount of unsatisfied members taking the time out of their day to write this reviews. ACTION needs to be taken.

Speaking of the ******** pa locationI cant believe the decline in this place. Cleanliness wise its awful 95% of the time. No paper towels to wipe off machines (most dont do it anyway) and dispensers are empty half the time. The employees working at night are basically there to hang out with their friends. The machines are broken majority of the time and the ones that do work are usually being held onto for an entire night by high schoolers. If you give yourself an hr to workout good luck. For the monthly price its hardly worth it. I will happily be ending my membership and going elsewhere.

I know there are possibly thousands of people who have experienced the same horrible experience. I was a member of a LA Fitness location (I am still trying to cancel my account) I was not going to be around for the summer and decided to cancel my personal training and maybe revisit it in September. I canceled my personal training by calling and speaking to the director of the department. I asked for an email confirmation and did not receive it. I called again and asked for an email confirmation, again never received it. I was assured it was cancelled. I was charged again $240. I called again and reached a manager. He went to great lengths and my personal training was canceled. He told me I had to go to corporate headquarters in CA to see about a refund. Never received a refund. I decided to cancel my account completely because of this. I have been going through a similar experience trying to cancel my account for nearly to months. Snail mailed the form to CA, of course they never got it. **** tracking says they did. I called my local office and an employee there described his own company as ................ He promised to resolve it for me. THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED. They have designed it this way to basically prolong membership dues. Is this legal?

Just absolutely horrible business practices. I finished out a 12 month membership and personal training contract. When it got close to the date, I found out that I had to send out two forms to cancel both services. I sent them out and received confirmation that my cancellation went through. The next month, I get charged for another month of personal training. I called their corporate office and they tell me I have to go and cancel the personal training in person. I go in person and they cancel it but tell me I'd have to call the office again if I wanted a refund. I call and am told that since I only canceled the day before and not at the time that my 12 month contract ended, I could not get a refund. When I pointed out that I sent a cancellation, they say "oh there's a different PO box to cancel the personal training" so you would have had to send it there. Obviously they received both forms since they managed to cancel the cheaper service but they couldn't inform me that the other form I sent in was just going to be ignored until I noticed that they're still charging me? There are so many processes and "gotcha" rules involved with canceling that even when you think you're taking the right steps, they find another way to F you over. I hate this company and I hope it dies!
