      Corporate greed and staff incompetency runs heavy at these clubs. Stay away in ************* and especially ************* in ******. The staff is confrontational, unprofessional and will curse at you in your face. Fitness international is a terrible old company that does not provide any support or training to their staff which is obvious at the club level. They only respond to positive reviews online (go figure) and unfortunately I left 24hr for similar reasons. Im disgusted by how I was treated by not only another member but by the staff after who completely took his side after threatening me. I will be following up with the corporate office even though they don't give any care in the world. If you can afford a higher end club like equinox or lifetime your money will be much better spent and you wont deal with entitled members who pay $40 a month thinking they're better than you. I would love to name drop the employees but im sure they will block it off for privacy.

      I contacted La fitness about one of there employees **** texting my wife an unprofessional and rude text message saying he wants to marry her 1 day after joining and they didnt have the nerve to answer back to my email or receive my calls. Completely unprofessional on La fitness management and very creepy on the employee who contacted my wife

      70% of the elliptical training machines (about 25 machines) are not functioning properly if functioning at all. This has been going on for a year. I spoke to the manager at the ************** location7 months ago. He said they were having trouble getting parts. I think the problem has more to do with want to. There are other machines that have similar issues but not as many. I pay my dues on time and it feels like the company does not value its customers. I also have 2 more memberships for my family members.

      I dont usually write reviews, but after what I experienced with the *** ********* *******, I feel like I have to warn others. Ive never dealt with someone so arrogant, rude, and completely unfit for a management position. I walked in to address a billing issue and was met with eye-rolls and sarcastic comments like I was inconveniencing her by simply asking for help.When I calmly tried to explain my side, she talked over me and kept repeating the same thing like a robotno empathy, no attempt to actually fix the issue. At one point, she even smirked and walked away mid-conversation. I was stunned. Ive had disagreements at gyms before, but this was differentthis felt personal and ************** can tell shes gotten away with this kind of behavior for far too long, and honestly, thats on upper management. If LA Fitness wants to keep members, they need to take a serious look at who theyre putting in charge. ********* ******* is a liability to this brand and the reason Im canceling my membership after years of loyalty.

      BEWARE If I could leave zero stars I would, what a horrible company, the employees lie when signing you up, continue to lie about policy, its a sad state of affairs when companies condone their employees doing what ever it takes to get you to sign up, then lie when you want to cancel.

      They falsely advertised that kids klub would be open in the mornings. My wife and I have been using the gym for a few weeks now and they decided to change their schedule on a whim so that Kids Klub is no longer available. They originally allowed us to take turns watching our kid in the room so he could play, but they started saying it was a liability issue so now we can't use the room we pay extra for. Instead we have to bring him outside to watch him in a busy parking lot, which I might add is a much bigger liability than allowing his parents to watch him in a kid proofed room. We changed gyms specifically for the childcare aspect and now we must change our entire schedule or continue getting kicked out of the gym daily... all while we pay for the service we can no longer use.

      Complaint Type: Customer Service Issues Location: ********************** ******************* I am filing a formal complaint against LA Fitness at the *************** location for repeatedly allowing male repairmen into the womens locker room during business hours while the space is actively being used by female members.This locker room includes showers, toilets, and a women-only sauna. Sending male workers into this area without clearing the space or closing it off is an egregious violation of privacy and a serious safety ********** make matters worse, LA Fitness only posts small signsat the front desk or the locker room entranceon the same day the intrusion is happening. There is no advance warning via email, app, or phone. This lack of communication gives women no opportunity to avoid being put in a vulnerable, exposed, or potentially traumatic situation.Impact on Me as a Consumer:I no longer feel safe or respected in this facility.I have paid for a membership that includes the use of a locker room I can no longer comfortably use. My trust in LA Fitness as a professional and customer-respecting business has been completely eroded.Desired Outcome:A written apology and acknowledgment from LA Fitness corporate.A clear, written policy that prohibits male contractors from entering active womens locker room spaces during open hours.Required advance notice of any locker room closures or maintenance via email, text and app.Until these changes are implemented, I will be warning other women in the community and seeking alternative fitness centers that take privacy and safety seriously.

      TWO WOMEN'S SHOWERS ARE DARK WITH BURNED-OUT LIGHTS IN LA FITNESS AT *****************************************. THE HOT WATER IS ONLY WARM. LA FITNESS IS LEGALLY BOUND & OBLIGATED TO MAINTAIN ITS CLUBS FOR PAYING MEMBERS!

      The LA Fitness in ******, **, has had, for over three weeks now, a shower in the womens locker room that does not work. After multiple requests to have the hand held shower head repaired or replaced, they **still** have not fixed the problem. This makes it difficult for handicapped or disabled women to safely take a shower at their facility. The manager on duty the evening of April 1, 2025 and April 3, **************************** trying to help resolve the problem. I explained I tried to contact the corporate office of LA Fitness. He explained the corporate telephone number has been removed from their website. LA Fitness website returns you back directly to the facility for complaints. This makes no sense to me since it does not appear that I have any way of Going over the head of the facility to a corporate office for help with ************* say Im disappointed is a gross understatement. With new fitness centers opening in the area, one would think they would be concerned about keeping all their members.

      I have a membership which I specifically use the pool/hot tub facilities. The hot tub has been closed for almost 2 years and whenever I inquire about it opening, they have no answer. Just advise it's a filtering system, or a heat pump issue or air filtration issue, etc... December 2024 the pool was closed for 'maintenance' and was expected to open back up in January 2025. Then their excuse was parts were delayed, therefore it will be another month. Next inquiry they said they decided to change out the **** and it would reopen first week of April. Now they're saying end of April beginning of May. I tried to freeze my account until the pool was fixed but they still wanted to charge me $10 a month. The pool area has peeling paint, poor lighting and bad ventilation. They have to keep the outside doors open to release the build up of chemicals in the air. The locker rooms are filthy. I cannot walk barefoot (nor would I) for fear of what I will pick up. They have closed all of the other LA Fitness pools so I can't even go to another facility. It's unfortunate it has come to this. I wish there were a more affordable place to use the pool and do water aerobics. The * and *** are soo costly.
