  Canceled application and now I have to wait a month to receive the money they took from my account on the same day I cancelled.

  I was called by an agent and after giving my information about a cash-out refi. After paying $495 for an appraisal and $22 for a credit check I was told that I could refi which would include paying off 2 cars all credit cards and I would receive almost $9000 in cash. My closing date was scheduled for a Tuesday. Friday afternoon I was called to say there was a hold up. Monday afternoon I received a call and then found out that the loan would include 1 car, all credit cards except 1 and I would not be getting any money. After being told I would have to pay almost $3900 for closing they then offered to cover closing cost. I politely declined. I want my $495 appraisal fee back. I have New American Funding as my company now and after looking at their site and others most companies cover the appraisal up to $500 or its included in closing.

  I requested information as I am thinking about refinancing my home. I talked with a rep for over an hour. I was very specific about what I was looking for. The amount of the loan, including taxes and insurance as well as my max ******* amount. After shopping around I decided to go with another lender. The I informed the Loan Depot rep and thanked him for his time. He continued texting me over several days and would not stop. I ended up calling him and found out that he had given me numbers for a loan amount 30k higher than I asked and the monthly ******* was higher. I explained to him that he had not done what I asked and that he should have respected my decision to go elsewhere. I told him I did not appreciate his hard sell tactics. He just would not stop so I eventually, after about an hour, had to hang up on him and block his number. I regret even talking to him.

  They treat veterans horrible and do nothing to help you. They take every advantage of disabled veterans and try to take your home from you.

  Very knowledgeable and helpful teams that make financing comprehensive and streamlined. I have now completed 2 loans with them and have nothing but praise for the professionalism of the staff. The loan consultant, funding office, attorneys that do house calls and customer service team are all well trained and made the process less stressful. I thank you all.

  I was a little skeptical at first, but the experience was great. I spoke to a representative who was very knowledgeable and made me feel as though I would not be taken advantage of. I feel that I made the right decision about the refinance of my home.
