  The process at Loan Depot was so smooth, it was almost fun! The lending agent, was very professional, knowledgeable and personable, it made the process go smooth. Everyone was responsive and kept things moving. Most of all it closed when I was told it would!

  All of the guidance and direction with helpful suggestions made along the way helped tremendously. I always received prompt responses to all of my questions. ****** was particularly helpful, holding my hand through some of the most difficult portions of the process.I've referred our daughter to LoanDepot for her first mortgage. Ironically, she and her husband closed on their house the same day as we finalized our refinancing. We met with the notary at twelve noon, our daughter and her husband closed at 2 PM the same day. We are a LoanDepot family.

  This place is terrible. My husband took a loan out for a home a little over a year ago. He had paid all payments online and they took his ability away to do so. He sent in money orders and they denied them and mailed them back. He is now in the beginning of a foreclosure after he had originally filed hardship papers with them. A month went by and he didn't hear from them about it so he called and they said they couldn't see all the documents. When he asked why they didn't contact him they said they didn't know how to. They now served me with a summons when I AM NOWHERE on the loan trying to hold me responsible. They're trying to say he hasn't paid since Feb of this year when he paid Feb and March and has proof they're paid. Then he sent two money orders for others and they denied them and mailed them back so he stopped paying until someone would give a reason as to why they denied them. He hasn't made another payment because they've been dishonest throughout the entire process and filing the hardship didn't make a difference. They do not contact you if there's issues with anything instead they just let your home go into foreclosure. They lied in the papers they sent to the courts stating they don't know how to contact me but they mailed a letter in my name when again IM NOT ON THE LOAN AT ALL. A rep emailed me a letter to send as proof I'm not on the loan. Hes the only one who's been professional and kind. They don't even know what months are owed vs what months are paid which has been an issue since my husband purchased the home. Its not going to look good in front of any judge when there's proof of what was paid and the other payments being mailed back. There's so much more needed to be said but I'll just say this They can't keep anything straight including who's actually responsible for the loan. Maybe he'd have been able to pay if you'd accepted his money orders and we wouldn't be where we all are! Seems like they just want the house instead of the payments.
