I have had the worst time dealing with loan depot. I highly recommend saving yourself the overwhelming stress from this company.I highly recommend using someone else.Here goes my story.I applied for a home loan. Pre approved for 450k very rapidly.Everything squared away. the *** BEFORE closing they sent me a notice I needed 9 more items after I was preapproved? Had to reschedule closing. This happened 5 times. I understand additional documents are needed sometimes but I rescheduled 5 times. New home build. The builders agent finally had to threaten the team saying its been the worst experience from a mortgage company and they were going to withdraw from the deal if the lending company didnt get it together.This also meant I would loose all money I put down with no way to get it back.On top of that I had to pay off a small loan to be approved. Loan depot said I had to wire money to closing table for the total payoff amount. Okay no problem. I find out over a month after closing that instead of having the money wired to pay it immediately loan depot policy is apparently to send it via ***** The check was almost two months late. So I was stuck with late fees and an additional payment, somehow they didnt send the proper amount. I had to pay an extra $1100.00 out of my pocket, I am stuck with a terrible loan company I have to pay a mortgage until I can refinance.Please save yourself issues like I have had to deal with. Go with a different loan company. I cannot stress this enough. Good luck out there.LoanDepot

I have tried for 6 months to get my escrow shortage acknowledged. They continue to charge us the higher amount as if we never paid the shortage. We paid $300 and the remaining amount also in September. Both were placed in Unapplied Funds but never really acknowledged. My payments are $1,015.66 not $1,051.86. I've asked them to reverse the funs and apply correctly. We are in bankruptcy but our mortgage is not included.LoanDepot

*****, *******, ***** and their team were so incredibly great, it is hard to even consider anything they did that wasn't insightful, helpful, and thorough. They are so kind and caring and willing to field any questions we have, and are also willing to be realistic with us so that we don't overcommit and end up being under-delivered. Even post-purchase, they offer relationship insights between us and loanDepot so that we can be aware of any interest changes or other changes to make sure we get the best value moving forward. Loan Depot set us up for escrow failure. ****************, our trusted escrow officer got us into a refinance with intentions of using the proceeds to purchase our 2nd home that failed due to misinformation on money needed to close escrow. We were put into a situation we could clearly not afford and lied to about the amount needed even after we voiced our concerns that we did not have enough. Our escrow sadly fails ** and we were left with an unwanted refinance.LoanDepot

Loan Depot will never get my business back. I just did a refinance with them. My loan Processor was great! However once I got to the SR. loan officer it went downhill from there. They paid something they shouldn't have paid, not on anything I signed for paying and still they went ahead and paid it. When I asked for the paperwork that stated they need to pay the amount included in my loan she never got back to me. Now I'm on the hook paying 6.6% on 6k that had no Interest on it at all.LoanDepot
